The most beautiful thing you see is the heritage, history, sophistication, and the existing tradition in our ancient civilizations that we live in now, in a way that is completely different from the previous one, but for the time of men, we can be in the past or in the present. The important thing is that it is our history, and God has not been lost.

Yes, yes and yes... especially in spring! Avoid weekends if possible as full of kids and school excursions. Worth taking a guide. Quite large. Wonderful views and photogenic! I have hundreds of photos of the place, however, only these on my phone right now

Great museum and full on mosaics. Really good model of the current excavation works completed. The museum was a high point at the end of the site visit.

The place is just amazing. The unkwon history.... So incredibly important.... It just made me sad to see how people treat this place as a common park , without realising the importance of it. People having picnics, others walking on top of the ruins, stones being moved by convenience..... and extremely outrageous, the people who works there, the ones that should be looking after this treasure for the humanity, just don't care and do nothing..... If all is lost, we are lost....

I really like the theme of the museum, it’s artistic walls and the statues are amazing, it’s really small though, basically it’s just three rooms, and there is no gift shop, it’s really cheap to get in but you need get in to the Greek site to reach the Museum, so technically you’ll need two tickets.

Unfortunately there was an "approval" mishap and we couldn't see the ruins here, but the guides did let us unto the museum. If you plan on going, make sure you follow whatever their rules are to enter the the letter.

It's a small museum with three rooms. If you are exploring more regions like Cherchell/Tipaza, the museum in Cherchell is better in my opinion, and larger. But don't miss out on the roman ruins in Djemila

One of the best places I ve been to, what should I start with, the staff, on their head the guide Salim, the visit wouldn't be as great as it was without his knowledge and insight. The mosaic are nicely preserved and presented, the kids were playing around and touching the pieces , if only parents were more conscious about that. Except that the place is just a must do, the entry is 120da the guide ticket is 700 da. 5 stars review highly deserved.

In 1982, Djémila became a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its unique adaptation of Roman architecture to a mountain environment. Significant buildings in ancient Cuicul include a theatre, two fora, temples, basilicas, arches, streets, and houses. The exceptionally well preserved ruins surround the forum of the Harsh, a large paved square with an entry marked by a majestic arch.
