wildlife department Khyber Pakthnkhwa biggest peasantry where more then 1000 Birds and animals available for Research and observation . Dhodail Pheasantry near Hazara University cover huge area where Wildlife department officers and Employees look after birds and animals.

All such pheasantries & zoos should be closed.... If you want to research animals, then first allocate them proper space for their living... Consider yourself instead of them... What will be your feelings emotions thinking, if you're in captivity... We should end cage culture, & time is now.

loved it...but it should be open for visitors.

It's been closed for visitors since 2016. I had a really exhausting experience today 05/06/2022 when I took my kids there but it was closed and there was a notice placed on the entrance that it was closed. I suggest you don't go there to waste your time. It should be updated on Google's map also as it is showing that pheasantry is open but actually it is closed.

Date open in wikipedia written as 1984 but fully started in 2001 with establishment of hazara university Mansehra and placed on top in Asian pleasantries.Number of species are about 38. One of best Pheasantries of the area. Now a Himalayan Black Bear and Common Leopard are alson on the display. Pheasants on the other hand are becoming multiples of single specie yet enough of worth watching.
