Great for hiking without going out of the city. It also has a great view of the city.

The scenery was amazing, but the lack of clear directions to the various exits was an issue. Adding maps and navigation tools would greatly enhance the experience, making it easier for visitors to explore and navigate the area effortlessly.

Absolutely stunning area, 50 birr per person entrance. We took a pottery class here, such a calm and welcoming area. Lots to explore and great parking.

A BEAUTIFUL GEM HIDDEN IN ADDIS. A wonderful place for a hike, chilling on the grass, photoshoot or anything you want to do on a lush green land. The hiking trial can get a little tricky but its nothing difficult. Don't miss it.

Addis Ababa best place to retreat with family and friends. The jungle view is a breathtaking place for your soul. You can rent the hall by 3,000 Ethiopian birr and could bring your own foods and drinks. The park cafe only serves you drinks, tea and coffee, if you need foods you have to book 2 days before. The park guards saying you can able to see Haynna, wild pigs, dir dir and rabbits when the night fall. Birds are available at any time. One of my friend encounter breathing difficulty when he enters to the compound due to high altitude (note that the park altitude situated at 3,000 meter above sea level). If you have breathing difficulty is not good place to your health. The other thing the most dufucult thing is getting toilets in the park. The park administration trying to place some mobile toilets but all of them are not cleaned, seeing used empty bottles out of basket is common. Cleaning the park needs follow up. My final recommendation is go and enjoy.

A perfect getaway from the weeks hectic days. A beautiful scenery, amazing view and different atmosphere. Perfect place to hike do picnic and with children playground. It's just refreshing. We also tried the pottery class which needs to be booked in advance. Mama Shekla (Mamas Pottery) is just a fun class for kids and adults. There is plenty of parking and sitting area. The bathrooms need work and can be improved. Definitely recommended.

GBG is a natural park on the edge of hustling Addis Ababa where one can experience solace. The song of birds and freshness of air is soothing. Naturalists of sorts including bird watchers, botanists, butterfly enthusiasts and the person who just wants even a brief get away will be supremely rewarded here. It is a gem of a place worth keeping and visiting. I was however not happy with the bathroom facilities. Besides ill design, are in a state of falling apart and not tidy. Water which should always be available is not running. If we are going to attract visitors at this place we should keep this facilities in good shape. On the design side of things, it would be a established idea to keep infrastructure as eco-friendly as possible.

My favorite place in Addis. It's quiet, lovely nature, not too many people. Perfect for walks. If you are lucky you will see some wildlife but for sure you will hear many birds and see lots of flowers.

I was today years old to explore this incredible forest & magnificent view. Everyone who lives in Addis Ababa or near the area, should definitely consider going to here. It's so therapeutical & mind blowing, if you take a hike & you'll surprised by the nature!!! Definitely going back again next week for more pictures.
