There are many Maharaja and Great Maharaja hotels in Kalaburagi. The hotel which I am mentioning is on the road from Timmapuri Circle to PDA Engineering College. Here I have tried Idli, Dosa, Samosa and Tea. They have amazing Irani tea. Undoubtedly this is one of the best Irani tea in Kalaburagi. This being a Muslim hotel I was not expecting a tasty chutney and sambar for Idli. However, beating my expectation both chutney and sambar were really good. In fact they are better than many Udupi hotels and Kamat hotels. Samosa is OK, but not extraordinary. Ambience and hygiene are average. They have separate AC facilities for family and kids. This hotel accepts only cash. It is a pocket friendly hotel, prices are not expensive.

i am from Hyderabad.... i visited kalaburgi for first time .... very arrogant behaviour of management and they use lot of food colour in food items and juices.. ... the food is also not nice unhygienic... the table cleaner and waiters both are same so they don't wash thier hands after cleaning also....

Great Maharaja Hotel located opposite to bus stand Gulbarga.only two wheeler parking is available & four wheeler need to kept on own risk. On the way to Hyderabad - Khestra Gangapur we had lunch at this hotel. Ground floor is for masses with tea, snacks & other lunch items & first floor is decent for families & it’s suggested. Ambience was decent & receiving was good from the person who sit on first floor counter. Food was delicious, we had corn Soup,jeera rice & dal fry, sabzi poori,Special tea Must Try would be Dal Fry & Sabzi Poori
