The Jamia Mosque was built in 14th Century and it's completely based on Persian Architecture. The Masjid is huge both inside and outside. They say that it was built in such a way that there's a point in the masjid where the Imaam recites Namaz and his voice echoes to all the nuke and corners of masjid so they don't have to use sound system and there only one light source (One Bulb) which is enough to light up the whole Masjid it's all cuz of the extraordinary design and Architecture. This Captivating masjid is a vast piece of land and the architect is magnificent. So much of history of absorb!!!

The Jamia Masjid, also known as Quila E Hasham or the Jami Masjid, is a splendid architectural masterpiece located within the precincts of the Gulbarga Fort in Kalaburagi (formerly known as Gulbarga), Karnataka, India. This historic mosque holds immense cultural and religious significance in the region. The Jamia Masjid was constructed during the reign of Sultan Taj ud-Din Firuz Shah of the Bahmani Sultanate in the 14th century. It exemplifies the architectural grandeur of the Bahmani dynasty, known for its fusion of Persian and Indo-Islamic architectural styles. The mosque's most striking feature is its enormous prayer hall with intricately designed arches and domes, showcasing the exquisite craftsmanship of the era. The central dome, in particular, is a masterpiece of Islamic architecture. The mosque's courtyard is spacious, providing ample space for worshipers during congregational prayers. The Jamia Masjid's historical importance is further accentuated by the presence of inscriptions that detail its construction and the ruler responsible for it. Visiting the Jamia Masjid is like stepping back in time and immersing oneself in the rich history and architectural heritage of the Deccan region. It remains a revered place of worship and a cultural treasure, drawing both religious devotees and history enthusiasts to its hallowed grounds.

Jumma Masjid, also known as Great mosque, was built and completed in 1367 by Rafi an architect hailing from Kwajwin province of Iran, during the reign of Mohamad I. It is Supported on 140 pillars, it has 250 arches and five large domes of which the central dome is 80 feet in diameter and its interior surface is decorated with flowers and creep ers There are 63 smaller domes also Persian architectural traditions and Indo-Islamic architectural features are seen in this mosque. Considering the plan of the mosque it is usually said that it resembles the famous mosque of Cordoba city in spain. Great place to visit

This masjid is phenomenal. Great piece of architecture, it's know fact the no matter in which corner u r offering salah, you will be able to see & hear imaam equally& clearly from all points in the masjid, which is mind boggling. But it's so sad to see this huge art put to waste by the government. The place is just left to lost. No maintenance or service whatsoever provided by government. This place has been lock since 2/3 years. Sad to see history put to rot & disappeared some day.

Beautiful mosque. Jamia Masjid Gulbarga is Mosque located in Gulbarga, Karnataka, India. The Jama Masjid Gulbarga does not have minarets. It is built inside the Gulbarga Fort. It is regarded as one of the best examples of mosque architecture in South Asia. The arches design of Jamia Masjid Gulbarga reflects in the interiors of Spanish Mosque of Hyderabad, India. These are only two mosques in India which have interiors similar to the Great Cathedral–Mosque of Córdoba in Spain

The masjid was so beautiful, i would say one of the best masjids I've been to. It was spacious. The architectural build of the masjid was so fascinating that it made it stand out from the others. It has ventilation from every side which was allowing fresh natural and cool air inside which made the place more peace.

The Fort in Gulbarga, the capital of Bahamani Empire between 1347 to 1424 AD, was probably built by Raja Gulchand of Warangal and afterwards strengthened by Ala-ud-din Bahamani, is occupying an area of 74.10 acres and a circumference of 3 kilometers and consists of two rounds of fort'fications. The cuter fort wall is of lesser height while the inner fort wall is of greater height. There is a 30 feet deep moat around the fort. The fort carries tene (or Kanguras) at regular intervals and has 15 bastions and 26 guns. One of the cannon is about 29 feet long. The Principal gateways on the Eastern and the western sides consists of pointed arched with openings flanked by bastions, approached by bridges across the moat. There is a continuous parapet of merlons, raised over the gateways, provided with narrow openings in them, through which muskets were fired. Though the palace and other structures inside the fort are in ruins the Jumma Masjid which is still well preserved is noteworthy.

Biggest and one of the oldest masjid of South India. Made by Bhamani kingdom. It's situated in the middle of Gulbarga Fort. The masjid is clean, and daily namaz is held on timing. Wazu space is outside, and little unhygienic needs a better place. Masjid consists of 101 domes and is a historical spot of Gulbarga. Must visit to see the beauty and learn about history. Zohar namaz 1:15 pm. Juma namaz 1:30 pm.
