Must
visit.
The
shrine
is
very
important
and
well
maintained.
It
is
an
active
place
of
worship
so
be
respectful,
wear
decent
clothing,
and
avoid
taking
photos
apart
from
designated
areas.
The
inner
shrine
is
the
highlight
to
remember,
it's
very
beautiful
with
intricate
patterns,
tile
work,
Persian
influenced
design.
Wish
there
were
more
explanation
plaques
to
understand
the
legacy
of
this
person,
and
the
architecture.
Also,
special
Kudos
for
their
preparation.
In
entire
trip
of
uttara
Karnataka
this
was
one
of
the
most
hygienic
and
covid
aware
tourist
spots,
with
very
good
focus
on
ensuring
mask
wearing,
hand
washing,
physical
distancing.
Please
note
that
some
parts
of
the
dargah
are
cordoned
off
but
all
major
sites
are
open.
For
parking,
ensure
you
avoid
the
market
side
gate,
park
at
the
back
entrance
and
walk
to
the
main
entrance
(2
mins)
and
ensure
you
get
the
parking
ticket
to
avoid
random
charges
(even
with
ticket,
50
Rs
is
too
expensive
for
this
town)
There
is
a
bookshop
selling
very
unique
writings
of
the
Hazrat
Khwaja,
we
couldn't
explore
this
though.
On
the
market
side,
don't
miss
out
on
a
few
khowa
sweet
shops
-
they
fry
khowa
puri
freshly
in
front
of
you.
Again,
during
covid
times,
the
fresh
fried
option
was
reassuring.
However,
try
to
consume
it
same
day
as
it
doesn't
age
well
even
with
fridge.
