"Hazrath khaja bandanawaz" is the biggest name in the world of Sufi saints in deccan. This place is a absolute absolute beauty, & huge , huge. Darga shrine is very big & walls are surrounded by sayings of hazrath khaja bandanawaz sahab in urdu & farsi. Wazh khana, masjid are all present within the premises of dargah. Rooms to saty are also available within the premises of dargah, & also plenty of lodging are available just outside dargah. Khaja bazar is present every time during year. If u r a fan of Sufism this place is a must visit & better to visit with someone who can tell u the entire history & wakhiya of hazrath sahab. The peace of mind you gather around here is phenomenal. & A must visit is in the horse bogy with the guy who takes you to 6/7 different historic buzrug's places, he also tells the significance of each hazrath while showing around. Khoa puri & Tahari are must eat dishes, very delicious.

World famous dargah in Gulbarga of Hazrat Khwaja Bandanawaz. Grand and a very peaceful place. Accessible from every part of the city. I prefer taking an auto for 10 rupees from ring road mehbub nagar chowk. Videography and photography is prohibited inside the shrine. There is a mosque as well adjacent to the shrine. A vast pond wazu khana in the middle for doing wazu. Do not miss to take mama puri which is awesome sweet famous one of Gulbarga. Do take it from the 2nd shop when you exit out t the Dargah. The name of the shop is khasim ali sweet merchant prop. zainul abedein.

Gaisu Daraz was a disciple and then successor of Sufi saint Nasiruddin Chiragh Dehlavi. When he moved to Daulatabad around 1400, owing to the attack of Timur on Delhi, he took the Chishti Order to South India. He finally settled down in Gulbarga, at the invitation of Bahmani Sultan, Taj ud-Din Firuz Shah.

Must visit. The shrine is very important and well maintained. It is an active place of worship so be respectful, wear decent clothing, and avoid taking photos apart from designated areas. The inner shrine is the highlight to remember, it's very beautiful with intricate patterns, tile work, Persian influenced design. Wish there were more explanation plaques to understand the legacy of this person, and the architecture. Also, special Kudos for their preparation. In entire trip of uttara Karnataka this was one of the most hygienic and covid aware tourist spots, with very good focus on ensuring mask wearing, hand washing, physical distancing. Please note that some parts of the dargah are cordoned off but all major sites are open. For parking, ensure you avoid the market side gate, park at the back entrance and walk to the main entrance (2 mins) and ensure you get the parking ticket to avoid random charges (even with ticket, 50 Rs is too expensive for this town) There is a bookshop selling very unique writings of the Hazrat Khwaja, we couldn't explore this though. On the market side, don't miss out on a few khowa sweet shops - they fry khowa puri freshly in front of you. Again, during covid times, the fresh fried option was reassuring. However, try to consume it same day as it doesn't age well even with fridge.

Visited by the grace of God the glory baaragha of khaja bande nawaz. It is one of the most oldest and beautiful dargha Shareef situvated in gulbarga. I stayed in hotel with family. The tomb of the darga is so big with all glass work done inside the roof of the dragah. When we sit here we get a lot of peace. N when u visit this place go for a trip in horse chariot. They will take u to other ziyarat and gulbarga city. Bus n railway station is near by. City busses are arranged. U can also book train tickets from here. Food is good and taste tahari once. U can do shopping n specially for ladies and children. I had a great time visiting this place.

And then some flowers shop holders are too irritating... They offer High range of cost for flowers.... In out side the dargah number of fraud people are present...they asking money..... I don't know why dargah is not developed.....no proper painting to walls... Then about rooms Taha lodge infront of a main gate very nice neat maintain lodge Rooms are very clean and also hot water facility not too hot Lift facility also available...... Everything is near for this lodge...
