Just a word of caution, appointments are a little rushed here and Dr. Shah may not take concerns seriously. I came in a couple of years ago about heart concerns after not having insurance for years (which the insurance thing is on me, not them). She brushed off my concerns and was reluctant to refer me to a cardiologist. I ended up diagnosed with a heart condition. I came in again recently after several ER visits this year and wound up having two surgeries. One surgery was a week old and she did not look at the incision site, or have time to address my questions. The second surgery hadn’t happened yet, but she did not think I would need it, and I ended up having it a month later. Towards the end of our appointment (14 minutes in) she told me she “didn’t have time” and rushed me out of the office. I was cordial, polite, and had some health concerns. I have not felt seen either time I’ve gone in. I found a different primary care physician who has taken me seriously, and have been working through a diagnosis of a chronic health condition. Dr. Shah has glowing reviews, and perhaps I caught the office on two bad days, but I have not been satisfied here and found a different pcp to take care of me

Awesome doctor, outstanding in every respect. Caring, current, available, and listens to her patients. Reasonable 5 minute wait to be seen, she takes her time to see how you're doing and to address your issues, and offers excellent professional advice and treatment. Highly recommended on every level.

Dr. Shah stepped into my mothers care at a very critical time when mom was suffering from dementia and a very bad hip. Over the course of a few months Dr. Shah was able to stabilize mom, get her pain under control and prepare her for a much needed hip replacement. With a successful hip surgery behind her and a month of healing under Dr. Shah's care she was able to return to her family pain free and walking with a walker. There were critical moments along the path of healing that I know, if Dr. Shah was not there to intervene and care for mom my mother would have lived out the rest of her days in a wheelchair, in pain. We owe you Dr. Shah. Thank you.

Dr.Shah is the best and so is her office staff! From the front desk...to the nurse taking your vitals...and ofcourse Dr.Shah herself this office is awesome! Dr.Shah is compassionate and takes her time with every patient. I heard her get on the phone personally with a patient who needed to be fit in that day and she made it happen even though it inconvenienced her. Sitting in the waiting room I literally hear 2-3 NEW patients that come in...and her office will continue to grow because Dr.Shah truly cares about people. Love her! And her staff!

Dr Shah and her staff are as close to family with one another and their patience as one can get without being blood related. I say this because family truly take the time to listen to you and help in anyway to achieve my most healthy living goal. I have never felt rushed or pushed through the process even when they are really busy. Dr Shah has even personally called me and my wife, on more than one occasion, to be sure I was doing well. 5+++ star rating for the Sunrise Medical Clinic! I have found Dr. Shah to be a very personable and excellent doctor. She is so kind and is on top of every aspect of my health. Labs are conveniently done in her office and her staff is wonderful as well. She even called me recently when I was out of state to make sure I was able to get my prescription filled. I am comforted to know I am being taken care of by one of the very best !....I highly recommend her !!!

I have been searching for a PC for two years since I’ve moved to the area and Dr. Shah is amazing! Her entire staff is attentive. Dr. Shah really listens to my problems and is very attentive. I’m happy I finally found Sunrise Medical Clinic and I would recommend them to anyone.

I just recently began seeing Dr Shah. I must say, it was very refreshing. I have been used to a PCP whose staff was extremely rude and a doctor who never really listened. Dr Shah's office staff always seems to go above and beyond to help me with anything that I need and are extremely pleasant to be around. Dr Shah, herself, takes her time and listens to everything you're feeling and answers any questions you may have about any medicine she prescribes. I definitely recommend her to anyone who dreads going to the doctor. She will absolutely change your mind about the medical profession.

My mother, Julianne, is a patient of Dr. Shah. I have heard mom talk about the great care she has received from Dr. Shah for years. Recently mom had a medical condition where I needed to help out and through this had the pleasure of meeting and working with the infamous Dr. Shah. All I can say is mom was right!! Dr. Shah really cares for her patients and makes them feel like family. In addition she is very knowledgeable and at the top of her field. I was very impressed with Dr. Shah’s navigation of the medical bureaucracy. She got mom tests and referrals in record time and stayed involved with mom’s case at every turn. Whenever we hit a roadblock, Dr. Shah helped us overcome it. Dr. Shah is now my favorite doctor in Florida and I, like mom, continue to sing her praises.

Dr. Shah is amazing! She cared for my mother-in-law before her passing and is currently caring for an elderly aunt that is in our charge. Dr. Shah has always been very attentive and caring. My mother-in-law had a very exhaustive list of medical problems and Dr. Shah was masterful in the way that she addressed each issue individually and as a whole. She worked well with the specialists, hospital staff and rehabilitation facility staff & she kept us informed of all pertinent information in a very timely manner. Dr. Shah also has such a nice personality and great demeanor. She was very kind to my husband and I, my mother-in-law-law and Aunt. She is easy to reach and quick with a return call when messages are left with her office. The staff in the office is also very friendly and professional. My Aunt has Alzheimer’s and I have been impressed with the patience and kindness that she shows to her. We would highly recommend Dr. Shah!

Dr. Nilam Shah is a mediocre at best primary care physician. She spent 5 minutes talking with me and didn’t complete a basic heart, lung, ear, nose, throat check. The office appeared short staffed. I experienced difficulty getting through to a staff member for scheduling. I do not recommend this provider.

My family loves Dr. Shah and her team. Nilamben is caring, quick to respond to questions on the patient portal, and does not rush you through your appointment.
