What a great place this is. We'd been before but that was last year for lunch but decided to drop in for an evening meal. We were told beforehand that they only had one chef on so it may take a little longer, but actually we were really happy with that as it was a nice leisurely meal. They gave our little dog some water and a treat then took our orders. Tge kids both had sirloin steak, my wife a chicken/ham/bacon special and I had a tuna steak. The meal was fabulous with not a single grumble off the kids either. Clean plates all round and the staff were excellent. Can't recommend it enough for innovative food, welcoming atmosphere and reasonable prices for fresh, quality produce. Thanks for treating us all so well 👍

Had a lovely dinner at The Puffin, with fantastic friendly service and a good time had all round. Great food, particularly the Cullen Skink and the seafood platter which were both superb. Dog friendly, and would definitely recommend for a relaxing bite to eat.

On our first visit to North Berwick we dined at the Puffin on our first evening. Caroline had the lobster, whilst I had fish and chips (I know I'm not adventurous) both meals were excellent. Good service and a pleasant ambiance. Will be visiting again this week

Food and service was premium, thoroughly enjoyed our food. The service was very attentive. The light background music was just right but as we were there mid afternoon I feel we didnt really get to feel what its like when its busier. Would recommend for the food and service.

Fresh seafood and wonderful cocktails. Very good value for money as well as the generous portion of the cod. Good location close to West (Bay) Beach.

Absolutely fabulous popped in on off chance, not booked but was welcomed with lovely waiter Terry at door, he was so pleasant and well mannered nothing was a problem and gave us a table, fantastic turkey Xmas meal we had of the set menu beautiful, served on a hot plate and all food was piping hot, chef's have it down to a tea regards presentation hot tasty food, perfect such a lovely evening between Terry being so attentive and kitchen staff producing that beautiful meal best night ever thank you to the chefs / Terry and the gang love Julie and Phil trinity edinburgh x

Cannot fault this place. Service was efficient and timely, and the food was incredible. Great portion sizes leading to fantastic value for money. We went in the winter time and there was a very homely fire keeping the puffin warm whilst we ate and drank. Would 100% recommend this place.

Friendly staff, a good menu and nice ambiance. The set lunch menu was good value, but i was distracted by cullen skink soup and my queen scallops. My wife’s mussels and fries was lovely from the set menu. I had a quick look round and the fish and chips option was also looking good with puffy crisp batter. Shame really that my diet only allowed me to have one main course! There was a good selection of gluten free options.
