ELEPHANTE STAFF ARE AMAZING!! They made me feel most welcome and cared for. The food was absolutely impeccable - shout out to head chef Elisha who kills it every time - and there wasn’t a time when I didn’t see a boatload of smiles. Amazing amazing amazing time and I 100% recommend traveling here if you get the chance.

If you want to feel like you are out of town, and yet not far away. This is the place, great food, Internet cafe, conference hall and out door fresh air.

visited a few times Nice place, food is hit or miss depending on the dish, and they made the coffee strong as requested. There is WiFi and u buy a voucher for 1,200ugx, which gives u unlimited data for 24hrs. The medium pizza was generous size. However the king samosa was a 1/3 empty and needed seasonings and considering the price compared to local ones it wasn't value for money, chicken wings are overpriced what is effectively 3 chicken wings cut in half, the cost 14k which is almost the same price as a full meal of beef stew with a side at 15k. Tried the pork enchaladas tasted just ok, but was left feeling hungry not really a proper meal, two fork fulls of rice, and refried beans, two very skinny enchaladas, left feeling hungry off to eat something else and I ain't a big guy. A recommendation is the entrance banner is completely faded so u if don't know the place u can miss it. They should invest in a proper sign that will last year's. On another visit I tried a few other dishes the pretzel wasn't that great, wouldn't order again. I rokespot WiFi is extremely slow, at times nil connection. Trying to do a WhatsApp chat back up consisting of only 245mb took two hours. It's so slow to the point it's useless, I no longer purchase WiFi here. The male toilets need vastly improved. Ok they had a ant infestation, but that aside the toilet didn't flush, the whole room is old and tatty, only one toilet in male toilets. The rest of the building is nice but let down with poor toilets.

Well organized place, I liked the rooftop canteen and used the hall for an event, they provided us enough support and also had a nice burger from the cafe area. Conducive Ij general. I would visit again

I live for environment conservation. I therefore appreciate the attention that they gave to nature. Planting trees, maintaining the lawn. The place is beautiful and homie. Kudos to you guys

The place is beautiful, the environment is lovely. I ordered a local dish and I was not disappointed. The food was tasty and one of the best i have had in Gulu. The customer service is just so amazing, the waiters and waitresses made me feel comfortable with their beautiful smiles.

We have been here over an hour, one persons food has come, the rest of us are still waiting. Something has happened to this place. It used to be good but lately it has definable been sub par.

The food is okay nothing striking about it, the service is terrible, I wish I could have given it a half star, the only time the server came to my table without me asking as to bring the bill and even then I hadn't asked for it. Definitely don't go when there are a bunch of events happening at the same time.

It has a natural and green atmosphere, conducive, tho sometimes noisy in case of events. Tree scenery is beautiful. And serene under the sheds. Tasty foods available with wonderful desserts... except that there is usually a delay in delivery.

While the food quality is mostly steady, the service is somewhere between mediocore and terrible. Some individuals are trying, but the majority does not even do that. If you do not mind to wait for hours and/or get a wrong order and/or get an incomplete order, this is the right place for you. The service is mixing up things, writing them down wrongly and there is not much will to make up for any of it. It is a nice location and a good menue, just do not expect too much.

It was a lovely place to have a nice dinner with friends but perhaps we went there on a very busy night so the service was a bit delayed but I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

The is a nice and quiet place to chill away from the city centre. Their chicken was nice and I highly recommend it. After sitting for almost 20 minutes without being attended to, I went to the counter to ask to be served. The food also took longer than wat had been communicated

The staff at Elephante are accommodating, friendly and fun. We love the outdoor tables since they provide a clean, quiet place for work and meetings. The food offers a consistently good variety. Highly recommended.

Loved the food and great customer service

The best around! I would go for the cream cheese enchiladas😋 They also have a small gift shop with some pretty cool things! The staff is nice and friendly, and the food comes out quick!

Simply adore this place. Fabulous food and service. Try their fresh house made passion juice and Rachel’s bean bowl for a fabulous lunch or their Texas nachos for a delicious dinner with a mojio on the side ;)

Oh this place is really so good and quiet for you to have peace of mind. They do have yoga classes too and I have been teaching there too.

Does it get better than Elephante Commons? First, let’s clarify that this is a place with a restaurant, hosting many local organizations offices, a community library, and meeting spaces galore. For this review, I am focusing just on the restaurant. Expertly trained, friendly staff make excellent coffee, juices, and cocktails. You could spend every meal of every day here and be satisfied from breakfast to dinner. Try the pizza, try the salads, try the tex-mex, try it all. They also have a fantastic menu of local dishes - especially at lunch. Pictured is a personal favorite, a smoked beef dish (smoked beef served in ground nut sauce). The Malakwong and cow pea stew are excellent too.
