Frustrating experience with the main answer from customer service to be a resounding “no”. Upon check in the front desk was aware of diamond status and said they would only be able to give us a “not so good view” on a low level floor. The room upon entering smelled of mildew and overt fragrance trying to hide the mildew smell. Our luggage was left in the lobby because the staff insisted they would bring it up for us. About thirty minutes later we had a knock on our door only to ask us where we placed our luggage because they already lost it. Later on they did ultimately bring it to us but it would have been so much easier to simply allow us to do it ourselves. We were given access to the executive lounge but we have a child and were promptly told “no” for his entry into the lounge. The lounge has asinine hours and you may only enter for one hour during the evening per room. This meant we had to take turns as parents enjoying the lounge, each alone, so the other could watch our son. When we switched places I was told I had only 15 minutes to eat. Sure enough at 6pm the lights turned bright and the staff immediately cleared the tables even if you were barely finished. When asked if I could bring something down to share with my son who wasn’t allowed to join I was told again “no”. So we were each forced to eat alone then take our son elsewhere so he could eat. The pool is another nightmare. Upon check in you are told you may only enter the pool once per stay and then only for one hour. The pool is closed for fifteen minutes every two hours so you have to time yourself according to not lose your one hour privilege. Upon arriving at 8pm I found the pool changing facilities to consist of a small single room with no lockers except for those who paid extra for the sauna services. Not knowing where I could set my clothes I left and lost my privilege to try again at a later time by first changing in my room. This hotel needs better management and greater flexibility for those who would expect it considering its five star rating. I would strongly recommend considering alternatives.

Stayed here for 9-days, and they have absolutely the BEST customer service! I want to give them 10-stars if I could. The rooms are pretty spacious, ceilings are high, and the views are amazing. What made the overall experience impeccable was how every single staff treated us with so much kindness and respect. Even the lady at the breakfast dining room remembered me, and greeted me everyday. It made me feel like I was at home. I stayed at the Grand Hyatt for a few days after, but compared to Conrad Seoul, the service was terrible & the rooms were tiny. I wanted to go back to Conrad Seoul, and regretted not staying there for the full 12 days. I will definitely be back! Thank you Conrad Seoul for your warm hospitality :)

The most amazing hotel in existence. Room was perfectly temperature controlled. Blinds cut all the light out. Bathroom was epic with both a full tub and rain shower. 100% recommend.

Beautiful hotel! The rooms are luxurious, clean, and well appointed. Stayed here with work, and such a wonderful experience. It's located in the business district, and so much around. Upscale mall, with many food options. Also, the hotel has several dining options, including a wonderful breakfast buffet...close to public transportation. Definitely see why it is a 5 star hotel!

Location is meh - nothing nearby except it’s by the Han River and there’s a mall downstairs. I felt VERY disappointed when I was given a room like this. When I asked the guy what room I got during check in, he told me a city view. I then proceeded in asking whether a city view or a river view was better. He said it depends on the guest. I’m sorry but what guest would enjoy a view that has office buildings on BOTH sides. It almost completely blocks even the sunlight. Can not open the blinds unless I want office workers looking at me getting ready in the morning. Toilet was clogged and mind you, this is the 2nd time happening out of my 3 stays here. Supposedly the corner room is bigger, but it definitely doesn’t feel like it. Plus, no Dyson hairdryer in the room like the previous rooms I’ve stayed in. Also, only gave us 1 cup for brushing and 1 mouthwash, despite 2 registered guests. I also requested at check-in for NO housekeeping but someone entered to clean the room. I felt like the service was better as a gold than a Diamond member. But there are pros too - lounge was huge, breakfast was tasty, free virtual golf practicing, gym was equipped with everything.

The hotel gives us a anniversary surprise for my wife. I didn’t expect the hotel will provide a outstanding service either Front desk or Housekeeping. I sent the email to the hotel around 6 months ago to arrange this surprise for her! The overall experience is over my expectation during the entire stay. Especially, I need to mention Mary Kim. If Mary didn’t put the effort in, this surprise can’t make it happen 🙂

Excellent hotel rooms and top notch service. The elevators are a touch slow. General Manager Mark is customer centric and friendly. Greatly look forward to my next stay.

I recently just had the unfortunate opportunity to stay at the Conrad Hotel Seoul, and I must say that it was an extremely disappointing experience so far, From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the level of incompetence among the staff was astonishing. Despite being a loyal Diamond member, the early check-in I had requested did not go as planned. I was made to wait for an unreasonable amount of time without any breakfast options available, which is simply unacceptable. As a frequent traveler, I have come to expect much better treatment. The spa area was a complete disaster. Instead of a relaxing retreat, it felt more like a crowded public pool, with constant noise and screaming children. There was no chance for any kind of relaxation or tranquility. To make matters worse, guests were required to purchase a bathing cap, which seemed unnecessary and added to the overall inconvenience. Additionally, it was disheartening to discover that the sauna and whirlpool came at an extra cost. Such facilities should be included in the hotel amenities, especially at this price point. Furthermore, the spa operated on a rigid time slot system, which made it difficult to enjoy the facilities at my preferred time. The hotel seemed to have a plethora of nonsensical rules in place, leaving guests feeling frustrated and restricted. To exacerbate the situation, each staff member seemed to have a different interpretation of these rules, causing even more confusion and dissatisfaction. As a long-time Hilton customer, I expected a significantly higher standard of service and quality. Sadly, the Conrad Hotel Seoul fell far short of my expectations. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

As a Hilton Diamond, I love staying at the Conrad Seoul whenever I visit Seoul, Korea. The managers all know my wife and I. There's a wonderful shopping mall underneath the hotel. The only hotel to beat this is the Grand Hyatt, but it's too far from my business meetings - mostly in Gangnam.

Booked king with river view. Great stay, met every expectation. Rooms were excellent with comfortable bed. Service was 5 stars and would give 6 stars if I could. Restaurants were delicious. Would stay again.

Not worth the money. Stayed one night with my little one and two nights just with my husband. The breakfast area of the hotel has these drapes on the ceiling which are packed with dust. So dirty for a five star hotel. The pool was also packed. We had lost a few items at the pool. They found the items right away but they made us wait a long time in the lobby to sign some papers off for them. We could have just waited in our hotel room but they wanted us to wait in the lobby, we were tired. Then we double checked with the front desk that parking was validated when checking out because this had been a problem in our previous stay, but to our surprise it was not AGAIN , so we had to have the parking booth lady call the hotel again to confirm validation. Not coming back. Can’t get the simple things right, I don’t even want to wonder how they handle more complex matters.

This hotel is situated in the city's financial district. Hyundai department store is next door. It also has a massive underground shopping and dining complex which connects to subway stations. Hotel itself is fairly new and it seems that the management is up to the expectation of Hilton's Conrad brand. As a lifetime Diamond member, I've stayed at quite a few Hilton properties everywhere and I can definitely say that the staff at this hotel is very professional and went out of their way to accommodate my travel needs. In fact, I would say that above the hotel's nice facility, it was the staff that made the difference between a good hotel and an excellent hotel which this hotel definitely is. If you are planning a trip to Seoul, I definitely recommend that you give this hotel a serious consideration.

It was very wonderful day because of Conrad Hotel experience. They were so sweet and super kind. The hotel is connected by subway so that you can go anywhere easily. The view was outstanding even though it was rainy. Honestly, highly recommend you guys! :)

Truly recommended for those travellers who would stay here with five star service and food. The room is spacious and comfortable. Perfect location with walking distance from the underground. There’s a shopping centre down the basement.

Only good for business trip. Not good for relaxing unless you in your room. Be ready to dress upscale when you come down to the lobby. Because the hotel property opens for public and no one will remember you staying at the hotel. Unless you up to the dress code they will treat you differently. Btw Spa were amazing!!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Service levels did not disappoint - very friendly staff who always went out of their way to make sure things went smoothly. Whether that was the main reception, concierge, housekeeping, exec lounge staff or the gym/sauna staff! Room was well appointed with an amazing view of the Han River :) Thanks for making it a memorable stay.

The location is the financial district and it’s a great hotel for when you’re on company business. Other than that their facilities for company events or weddings are phenomenal. The food is fantastic as well.

Short one-night stay. I opted not to wait for an upgraded room, a standard room was available at the time of my early arrival. The room was more than adequate, with all the amenities, a comfortable bed, desk, sofa, and multilingual TV channels; a large bathroom with shower and full bath. Very accommodating reception and well-staffed executive floor. The notable number of rude and pretentious guests took some out of the positive experience.

Incredibly well appointed hotel with excellent amenities… in a very elegant setting. Rooms are spacious and well decorated. Service in fantastic as the staff are all very accommodating and helpful. Too many amenities to list… but all well done! Quiet and serene… a perfect place to unwind and relax, to wake up refreshed the next day to sightsee or take on the business world!

We stayed at this property last week for 3 nights and just had a phenomenal time. We stay at luxury properties pretty frequently and we were very impressed from the moment we walked through the door. The bellmen immediately welcomed us when we arrived, took our bags, and escorted us to the front desk. Antonio at the front desk was absolutely terrific. We do not speak Korean (just know a few basic phrases), and he helped arrange us a reservation at a nearby BBQ restaurant which was delicious. The restaurant didn’t pick up while we were at the front desk, but he met us in the lounge 10 minutes later and confirmed the reservation. He also arranged a spa visit for my wife and recommended other near by restaurants during our check in. He never made us feel rushed and took plenty of time to answer all of our questions and requests. For the entire stay the service was above and beyond. While the room was nice, it was probably a little lower than your normal 5 star hotel, but it’s a super large city so I give a little grace on this front. It was still by far the largest and most spacious hotel room we had in Seoul. I’ll also give props to the executive lounge on floor 37. It was incredibly spacious with great views. It also had a solid alcohol selection and great food for a lounge. I’d highly recommend this property if you want to relax from the hustle and bustle of Seoul and be pampered for a few days. It’s also a very good location for foreigners who don’t speak Korean as almost the entire staff spoke near perfect English. Also, the gym was very large and had everything you could want.

The location is amazing, its connected to basically 2 different shoppings and variety of thing’s to do and eat. The breakfast is also very good. Concierge downstairs willing to help translate and take taxi. However, in other departments service is very hit or miss .

Overall a great experience. Been here on a business trip for one night. Nice room with an amazing view (got an upgrade to Premium river view as a Diamond). Rooms are spacious, clean with many features. Bathroom also large and clean. The staff was very friendly, especially the concierges. I really liked the breakfast, even though I had to wait about 10 minutes until I got a table, during peak time (8:30). Wide choice and freshly cooked. The executive lounge also offers a nice view. The hotel is conveniently located above a mall with direct access on the lower floor as well as rain-free access to the Metro (lines 5 and 9). Doesn't take that long to get to ICN / GPO by public transportation, also the main attractions are close. My expectations were exceeded, will definitely consider staying here again the next time I am in Seoul.

Truly a 5 star experience. Pros. - location is connected to the IFC Mall and there's an underground path to the Hyundai mall. Very easy to get around even when it rains. - Staff was great, just had amazing service during my trip. - decor and design was in my opinion modern and just appealing. Areas of improvement. - when it rains it just gets too busy for taxis. Waited quite some time, needed to remind the staff since I was waiting over 30 minutes. Overall, would love to come back. Just a great stay overall.

My wife and I stayed at this property for our 5th wedding anniversary. We booked it through American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts, therefore we we expecting for a fine experience. We’ve traveled to a lot of places and have stayed at Fine Hotels; Conrad Seoul is by far the worst Fine Hotel we’ve stayed at. We were not expecting for an over the top service, but rather the value of what we paid for. Unfortunately, upon check in, we were welcomed by an unprofessional and disrespectful front desk agent. She seemed to be rattled and pressured because there were people in line behind us so she was rushing to check us in. She rudely told us that she cannot find our reservation even after handing her our passports. She asked for my wife’s credit card before she walked us through the check-in process. When I asked if she can add my Hilton Honors membership into the reservation, she flatly replied, “it’s not on your name”. My wife has worked in the hotel industry for years and this has been the most unprofessional service we have experienced. To make up for the rudeness, there was a anniversary greeting on our room window but my name was spelled as Ben instead of Vince. There was no attention to detail and genuine service. The bellmen and concierge were accommodating but other than that, this property needs major employee re-training in terms of customer service.

No suite room upgrade for Diamond members. Breakfast food quality is just standard. The Executive Lounge service is good. Hope to offer more cookies and desserts during the day.

We had a lovely 2 night stay here. The hotel was kind enough to give us a view of the Han River and the room was really cozy. Two queen sized single beds, tv in the toilet and a central control panel which allows you to control everything easily. The hotel staffs were really helpful too. Always checking if we need transport or help with restaurant reservations. The hotel is conveniently located above IFC mall which has shopping and eateries. The metro station is also a walking distance away. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a 5star stay in Seoul!

Although location is not ideal the hotel itself is very nice. Staff is very friendly and polite. Clean spacious rooms with comfortable bed, sofa and desk area. Large bathrooms with separate shower and bath. Buffet breakfast and happy hour in the executive lounge is very good. If you like to eat out there's a shopping mall with lots of restaurants and a food court. Walkable distance to subway and park.

I stayed here with my family and this hotel is very clean and awesome. Very high class hotel. Definitely recommended for anyone. The room very clean and the breakfast buffet was very delicious. This hotel connects with a next door mall so you don’t have to go outside get cold to reach the mall or looking for food. The view of Han River from the room was breathtaking.

  • 5/5 Y S. 1 year ago on Google
Definitely satisfied with the hotel. The view from my room was great and all the facilities and staffs are great. The location of the hotel is good as a center of Seoul, Han-gang park, IFC mall and Hyundai Department store are just near the hotel.

If you're debating between Conrad Seoul and Grand Hyatt Seoul, CHOOSE CONRAD!!! Grand Hyatt has some pretty amazing views, but apart from that... Conrad is a clear winner. It was a classy experience that truly upheld Korean culture while making foreigners feel extremely welcome. It's also conveniently connected to the subway station (~5-8 min walk via the IFC mall). It's also a next to a beautiful park an the Han River! Also their breakfast buffet is SUPERB! Lastly, all of the staff is super kind, professional, and extremely accommodating! They treat everyone like a star!

The bartenders. At Bar 37 have perfected the ability to preference Koreans and ignore anyone else. They would walk near my table and do the immediate left turn away from me. It took over 40 minutes to get m6 first drink. All while paying Conrad Hilton prices.

I experienced the city like never before at Conrad Seoul, an excellent hotel with unique experiences and exciting moments. When you're in Seoul, it feels like the whole world is your oyster. The city is abundant with culture, cuisine, and people. If you're in Seoul for business or pleasure, then Conrad Seoul would be a great option to stay. The view is magnificent and rooms are very spacious. I had a awesome time at the executive lounge and rooftop.

I would highly recommend. It's a great hotel with the highly friendly staff, good foods options, fantastic rooms, and shopping nearby. It's slightly away from the touristy area so you will need to use taxis to get around. I would highly recommend.

This hotel is immaculate! The rooms were spotless, the employees were friendly and extremely helpful. Food was excellent. And connected to a mask and subway stop for easy access to everything. Can't complain waking up to views like this in the morning if you get the right room!

Your Seoul Korea location is great ! Solid 5 stars !

The hotel service was great, and the room was awesome. The amenities within the hotel looks very classy and nice, but the food at the restaurant was just okay, definitely not worth the money they charge. The location of the hotel made it very easy to go out and eat on the local market (the hotel is connected to two large malls). A little upset they wouldn't give me a paper receipt.

  • 1/5 Flowify 1. 5 months ago on Google • 2 reviews
Everything about this hotel pretty much sucks. It seems good but it really isnt. The food is probably the worst i’ve ever tried at a hotel in my entire life of traveling. Breakfast is okay. The lunch and dinner options are miserable. The Italian food tastes horrendous and the steak they serve at the lounge has an extremely awkward flavor. The lounge food served sandwiches that looked strange and also food poisoned me. The coffee was beyond terrible. Whats even worse is that you had to pay for almost everything. For example the hot tub wasn't free and you had to pay to use it. My two sons were looking forward to using the gym but they were not of age. I should have researched better before deciding to come to this hotel. I thought this hotel offered a better bang for the buck than the Four Seasons, but I was wrong. Please find any hotel that isn't this place
