One of the nine Ahobilam Divyadesam. Divine place to visit. We hired a jeep, which charges Rs.3000. The jeep can accommodate 7 persons. Rs.3000 for visiting Sri Pavana Narasimhaswamy Temple and Sri Bargava Narasimhaswamy Temple. Do not even think of taking your own vehicle unless it is a military truck. The route is through a forest and the jeep driver have to make entry of time, no. of males/females, purpose etc. while entering and leaving the forest. There is no road, only a path full of boulder stones and huge downs/ups. You will never believe if the jeep is capable of this kind of extreme off-roading. Do not recommend aged people and pregnant ladies to take on this adventure. Also this temple has about 250 steps to climb. Temple closes by 5pm, though you can see the deity from a far distance behind closed gates.

2 kms forest ride from the main road. Jeep ride is preferable since road is bumpy. 100 meters of forest walk and 130 steps to reach the temple. Doli for elderly people is available in the morning 9am to 1pm. Bhargava narashima swamy - Parasuram asked the lord to show him the way he killed Hiranya Kasibu. Deity has hiranya kasibu on his lap (most people missed to see that). Gurukal to perform pooja is available from 9 am to 1 pm only. After that, you can workshop but no archanas can be done.

Very nice place and serene. But there are a lot of monkeys and way to this Temple is little difficult for elder people. You can travel only by autos and the journey in auto is pretty bad due to bad roads.

This temple is situated in lower ahobilam. I would suggest you to book a jeep from main ahobilam mutt for pawana narasimha and bhargava narasimha swamy temple. You can not drive your car till here because they both are in forest area and it will be off roading adventure. This is one of the nava-narasimha swamy temple. It is said that here Lord narasimha has given his powers to parshurama for killing bad kshtriyas. There will be 10 minutes trekking from the place where jeep will drop you. There is small kund also of lotus. I would suggest you take food or water along with you from main lakshmi narasimha swamy temple only. Because you will not find eatables here.

Bhargava Narasimha Swamy temple is located at 2 kms from lower Ahobilam. The presiding deity rules Suryan or Sun. Swamy is seen with 4 hands, two Sanka & chakram and other two tearing the body of Hiranya. Can see prahaladha at feet of the God. The temple is surrounded by thick forest.we can walk or take a jeep to the temple. No proper raod.

Good place full of greenery we can enjoy the nature with family and friends full day tracking and we have blessings of Lord narsimha @ 7 temple are there in the hill but there is no route map in the hill so we visited only 4 temples it took around 4 hours. Don't forget to take water with you. Drinking water is not available in the hill.

Bhargava Narasimha Swamy Temple is one of the nine Narasimha temples of Ahobilam in Andhra Pradesh. The temple is on a small hill. The temple has been beautifully renovated. There are nice stone steps to reach this temple. We reached this temple via a Jeep. However the roads are unpaved. But the temple is well worth the arduous journey. Please visit and get blessings for yourself and your family.

One of the 9 Narasimha temple near ahobilam Have to go through forest area, roads are not smooth in some places uneven rock are making difficult to drive. Only few can drivers capable to drive through this area. Two wheeler is better option. Have to claim 50-60 steps to Dharshan the god. Not advisable to plan journeys in summer time

One of the nava narasimha temples at Ahobilam. All the temples have a treking path. This one can be trekked via a Jeep. Most beautiful and peaceful up there. This specific temple opens only for a couple of hours in the morning unlike all other 8 temples

The whole place of ahobilam is such a mesmerizing view and the trek which is used to cover all those 9 temples is one of the best thing in Andhra pradesh. You must visit ugra stambha because that is something you will be proud of you cover that trek.
