I went here by seeing some reels on Instagram by some useless mallu food vloggers They are serving regular country chicken in the name of wild chicken (kaattukozhi) Also biriyani was ok The ambiance is very poor No hygiene

I tried this outlet on my way to waynaad to Bangalore after hearing many recommendations And truly this place did not disappoint Ample dine in space Their specialty is bari chicken titar fry etc We ordered the same with some ghee rice which came along with salman and samabar which were really good Hygiene needs to be improved good service at a pocket friendly price

We stopped here for lunch on our way to OOTY. The place looked shady but the attendant convinced us to try the food here and told us that they will have non veg and veg both with rice, biryani and roti items. So we agreed. Upon ordering we realised that they only had biryani, biryani rice and only one chicken curry with one brinjal curry. The food was good the the attitude of the owner and people serving was PATHETIC and RUDE. We ordered parotha and they only had 5 pieces of it and we were 15 people!! When asked they blatantly said no more parotha! We asked for spoons .. that took 10mins.. we asked for raitha .. that took few reminders .. and then they looked at us as they were doing a free service for us. I mean this is a very bad place for a family and I must say that you avoid going here at any cost! Don’t spoil your mood and eat somewhere else!

Madeena hotel is purely non veg hotel, thus hotel located in Gundlupete Chamarajnagara road you can easily recognize this hotel,main road itself, in weekend days very rush in this hotel. Taste is good , two floors are there, opposite to hotel parking free space available anybody going to tamilnadu or Kerala you can visit here near non veg hotel gubdlupete road take left you can easily recognize in map also thank you.

Dint like the kebab here. It’s either too roasted nor too dry .. Don’t miss eating Biriyani. Thought the food was served cold , yet it was tasty . Probably I would have loved it more if it was hot or warm atleast .

This review of mine is for Malayalee travelers only. I regularly eat khushka and quail fry.I have not tried anything other than this. I like it very much. Toilet facilities are available. Dont expect great restaurant facility. Good service.

I tried this hotel on the way to Banglore, we were hungry and stoped. They serve late night also. lucky we got good food. Then after 1 year I visited here and got parcel. Kushka(biriyani rice) is a must try. They have a dish called nattukozhi which is also good when served hot, meat is little hard but yummy. Hotel and wash area etc are not so tidy. Food is good ✌🏻

Good place to try non veg. The infrastructure is a little ok ok. But the food and all is good. Especially the butter tandoori. But the price is a bit High when compared with Bangalore prices.

One of the most unhygienic hotels I ever seen in life. Plates, glass in which food and water were served is not washed well, the table is not cleaned properly. And food quality is also below average. The worst thing is there hand wash area. Even a public garbage area is better and hygienic compare to this hotel. Food authorities should visit this place, inspect and shut down the door.

Kattukozhi (chicken) fry and ghee rice is tasty, the hotel has no interest in hygiene atmosphere. The kitchen, wash room even the plate you are given are horrific. Unhygienic hotel ever visited.

My meal consisted of Khushka, Mutton, Brinjal Curry, and Dal. While Madeena Restaurant may not boast the cleanliness and ambiance of a luxurious five-star or even a three-star establishment, it delivered on its primary purpose—serving a delicious and satisfying meal. The Khushka, fragrant and perfectly cooked, formed a flavorful base for the tender and well-seasoned Mutton. The Brinjal Curry and Dal added a delightful burst of flavors that complemented the main dishes. Despite the restaurant's modest ambiance, the waiters were an absolute delight. Their polite and swift service ensured that my hunger was addressed promptly. They were attentive to my needs and ensured that I was well taken care of throughout my dining experience. The friendly and efficient service provided by the waiters added a positive touch to the overall experience.

A must visit place if u r travelling to ooty from Bangalore..the food tastes homemade and it’s value for money

Fantastic Not many options in this part of the journey and you would often like this local cuisine. You need to take Chamraj Nagar road and the restaurant is just 100m away from the National Highway. (Be careful, you will not find it in the usual travel route to Mysore, Kozhikode or Ooty! Take 100 metre ride opposite Kozhikode road). Rice items like byriani and ghee rice. Exotic local preparations of meat items. No bread items. Might look congested but sturdy seats let you eat comfortably. Toilets available. Roadside parking sufficient.

Very very average taste with very high price.. They don't have any rate board or menu card.. Accidently if you visit, ask first the prices. Try to avoid such restaurants

The taste of Biryani is awesome and Kadey/Natti Teetar was fabulous you get in the pack of single/Family pack on Biryani/Masala rice/Ghee rice But need to carry cash there is no card/other payment mode my family enjoyed a lot I recommend you all you go with your familyI'm a regular eater at this place and my favourite order will be theethar fry with naati koli biryani. If stomach permits like to enjoy white kushka with daal...

We ordered mutton and chicken family packs, they gave tomato rice with bolied chicken and mutton, no hygiene what so ever, don't get deceived by the other ratings

My frnd suggested, tried 2 times thinking not to take decision on first time.but second time i started thinking when do they change their oil occasionally.... And I ordered hot water for having such a sticky oily food n again the water was worse... But atleast this review is for them to be better the next tym And yeah regarding price i felt they decide by seeing us 😆.. laughing becoz i paid some 470 bucks and while receiving the change i asked for the bill he was struggling to write down the rates..but mr.madeena.i will surely come again and I remember the rates now .

Good food. I recommend eating a bird called "teetar". It has a similiar taste to chicken, but is smaller. The kabab there is also good. I would give 4.5 stars ⭐ if possible.

When we said we are going to Bandipur, one of my family member asked us to have food in this restaurant. I went in two days ago with my family around 12.30 PM. we orderd Khuskha with Chicken fry and Quail Fry. The taste of the food was not Good at all. It was not worth it. The worst was yet to come. We left to Bandipur and reached Gudalur.My son and daughter started vomitting with mild stomach pain. We all had food poisoning and from 13th to 15th we all four are down. Today only we have lifted our head. I think they are using used oil.

Very good Biryani varieties served here. Also the chicken, mutton and kadai fries are good. The place is too small but decent enough to sit and eat. This is located on the way via Mysore to Ooty. Can plan to have lunch here always on the way to trip. I don't miss to have the good lunch here.
