Beautiful and serene. A vast temple premises, not much of rush. One can peacefully and devotionally spend time in the service of lord Narasimha Swamy. I happen to visit the temple around 9 in the morning time. The morning archana was being performed at that time.( infact it will be afternoon for the lord- as morning archana might have been performed in the early hours, somewhere around 3'o clock). Archakas were performing with full devotion all shodasha upacharas involving the all the devotees present. I bow to them for the diligence with which they were serving God. Then a liberal dose of prasadam of puliogare offerred to lord as naivedyam was distributed. It was tasty and I felt blessed to have got the chance to partake same. My visit was not planned, and seeing the sign board by the Mysore hunsur road I went their. The temple is not far from the main road and I suggest every one with a religious bent of mind to visit the temple. By the grace of God I visited the temple three times in my one week's stay in Mysore 🙏🙏🙏

Temple located in Vijaynagar 1st stage easily notable from the main road, is very spacious with lavish arena, calm and peaceful to spread only positive vibes, well maintained with ample space for car parking as well. The moola virat here is yoga narasimha swami who resides in yogic posture (meditative state) and evokes serene devotion in the first glimpse. It's a perfect place to experience the divine and orient yourself through meditation. It has ample space for the devotees and also can accommodate 2 gatherings for 2 different functions at same time. Special pooja is offered on Swathi Nakshatra and Amavasya days. The crowd is huge on weekends evening. Prasadam at 7.30 pm is sumptuous enough for anyone who visits the temple. The love for puliyogare distributed to devotees after maha naivedyam, is something eternal. Do visit in the weekday evenings after 7.30 for the prasadam.

A very beautiful temple. Maintained very well. A lot of space for car parking. There is a medium sized hall and dining hall on both sides of the temple. Small functions can be carried out there. If you have a feast program, then they will arrange for food, though they're not preparing food. You will feel very good and very peaceful if you visit this temple.

The Yoga Narasimha Temple in Mysore is a popular pilgrimage site for devotees of Lord Vishnu. The temple features a magnificent statue of Lord Narasimha in a yogic pose, which is a rare depiction of the deity. The temple is well-maintained and has a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great place for spiritual contemplation. However, be prepared for crowds during peak times.

Very nice and very well maintained temple... One would feel blessed after the visit. Many poojas are performed as per the hindu calendar. On new year day Laadu and Puliogare (rice dish) served as prasadam . Everyday after mahapooja prasadam (Puliogare) is served. Amazing taste

Beautiful idol of Sri Yoga Narasimha. The temple is a work in process. Wish they lay a carpet on the granite slabs leading to the sanctum. Gets too hot during day time...

The temple is more spacious and clean maintenance of the surroundings and inside the temple. The idol of narasimha Murthy is so beautiful and well decorated with flowers and ornaments. All the pooja sevas available and car parking is the most spacious space. People visit Mysore must go and see the temple and spend time there.

Sri Yoga Narasimha Swami Gudi in Mysore is a beautiful and sacred temple dedicated to Lord Narasimha, one of the fiercest forms of Lord Vishnu. The modern construction tries to imitate the ancient carvings. (Was it mere coincidence that the priests of the temple were also fierce in their attire and behaviour?) The temple's serene atmosphere and peaceful surroundings make it an ideal place for devotees to worship and seek blessings. As it is around 6-7 kilometres from the city, the ambience gives ample opportunity to sit for a while and meditate.

We usually visit this temple, where Lord Yoga Narasimha Swamy, can be from a distance. The place is very peaceful, spacious and full Bhakti. Every on new year lakhs of ladoos will be distributed among visitors who visit on 1st day of every year by Bhasyam Swamy. There is a place for family celebrations like marriage, homas and other poojas. Must visit place. Om Namo Narayanaya Namaha🙏
