Any combination of 24 alphabets cannot describe the eternal beauty of the place. Immense peace can be felt while sitting in front of krishna murti. The Krishna Janmasthan Temple Complex is a group of Hindu temples in Mallapura, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, India. These temples are built at the location where the Lord Krishna was born, and is adjacent to the Shahi Eidgah mosque built by Aurangzeb! According to historians, the prison cell, popularly known as 'Garbha Griha' ( Sanctum Sanitorium ) , in the temple premise is the exact place where lord Krishna was born. The stone walled cell is reminiscent of the cruelty of King Kansa. Many statues and sculptures of the bygone era were found on excavating the site. The prison cell was gradually turned into the present beautiful temple. Lakhs of devotees throng the temple during Janmashtami. Note- Mobile Phones, Camera and digital watches is not allowed, inside the Janmbhoomi. Timings: 5:00am to 12:00pm , 4:00pm to 9:30pm

A very holy place and a memory of our beloved Lord Krishna birth place. Actually a jail where the kansa ( maternal uncle of lord krishna) keep the devki and vasudev for a long time here . Now this place is now called krishna janambhumi. Entry is free here but if you have any bag then kept in clock room @, 10rs per bag and rs 2for per cellphone. No mobile or camera allowed inside the permises. Enter from gate no 10 then you see the caves one in left and one on right . Ticket for both caves is rs 10 . Langer Hall inside the temple. Also view garbh grah. And big mandir. Cold water facility and shoes ghar inside the temple. Rooms are available in international vishram grah @500/-rs to 2200/- rs as per your choice. Every person must watch this place and take the bless of lord krishna.

This is one of the most holy places I have visited in Mathura as it is said to be the birth place of our lord Krishna. Near about 5000 years ago lord Krishna born there in the jail to Vasudeva and Devaki Maiya. Later he was transferred across the Yamuna river to mata Yashodha Devi and Nanda and brought up by them. So, the Sri Krishna jonmo bhoomi place is basically the place where lord Krishna is appeared on earth. We have visited there in the evening. We can't carry any electronic gadgets like mobile, camera etc inside the place, so we have to submit them in the booths with minimum charges. There are separate gents and ladies booths. After that we have to wait for a while in the checking booths for security check. Then we entered the place. It is no doubt a peaceful place. The inside area is a little chilly. When we roamed through the jail area I literally had goosebumps. It is such a good fortune of me to see that place in person. Other than that the whole place is quite beautiful and maintained. I have enjoyed my journey there.

The experience of the temple and the cave is great And here a ticket is necessary to enter the cave. The cleanliness of the whole place is also perfect. It is forbidden to carry mobile phones and bags here and the fee for depositing mobile phones can be deposited by paying Rs 2 for mobile and Rs 10 for bag. Here security is provided by the Indian Army and Police.

Just amazing experience to witness in person, where Lord Krishna was actually born ..Very Holy and historical importance.. Keep in mind Opening and closing time of adjacent temple in campus, else the birth place is almost open during normal day hours..one can just go through normal wait time in line..No major restrictions.. But do keep in mind, that No mobile, smart watch, camera of any type are not allowed in premises..safe locakers are available, Ladies and gents separate system..but do carry lockable bag, if you're Group..to put all belonging in one place. Monkey are also to be aware of..as they often snatch things from visiting devotees.

You can't take your bag and your phone inside. So, for that you need to submit all that stuff outside the temple. There are many places nearby to submit your luggage at only 10 rupees. Janam Bhoomi is so good from inside. Try to visit in early morning or evening for best feeling. Try to be inside atleast for 1 hour for best vibes, devotions. Closing time of temple in day morning is 1 PM and after that temple will be open after 4 PM. Radhe Radhe. For more subscribe my youtube channel "Saksham Mishra"

I personally felt very dissappointed. Firstly all the real old buildings are not there I believe. It might have been broken during old days or may be for any reason. There's a Mosque inside the place, which makes me believe it was made by destroying the Shree Krishna Janma Bhumi. The Karagar where Shree Krishna was born still exists but not full. The newly made buildings are poorly designed, doesn't feels like or give some religious vibes. Well all these disappointments are due to my pre expectations which is I thought I would see real places related to Shree Krishna birth place. So you must visit this place ONCE surely. Definately it's a good place to visit. NO mobiles phones, or any electronic gadgets allowed. Medium or Big sized bags are also not allowed. There's a place to keep them safely (free). Also one personal opinion: if you are visiting Gokul from there, don't blindly trust any auto/toto drivers. There some locals said bad cases happen. So take it wisely.

This place is the actual birth place of lord Shri Krishna Ji. It's such a beautiful and amazing place to visit with family and Friends. People from all over the world visit here, so many different temples of radhe krishna have very beautiful Radhe Krishna Ji along with Girraj ji temple , Yogmaya temple and so on. The main radhe krishna temple is so grand consisting of radhe krishna paintings doing rasleela with Gopis or holding goverdhan parvat. The whole campus is green and clean with pure and clean drinking water and hygienic washrooms to use for people. There are so many shops also located inside the campus selling handmade bags, prasadam and other things related to Pooja paath. It has beautiful lightings which looks really attractive. People from different places visit there reciting Krishna ji bhajans and dancing on them . A must visit for everyone whoever visits Mathura.

If you believe in god then this place is history for you or else it's a myth. It was supposed to be the place where lord Krishna was born. It's also called Kans karagar. You cannot take mobile phones inside so plan accordingly. There are cloak rooms at gates where you can keep your phones. Timing is the same as any other temple in Vrindavan and mathura. There are 3 gates. Gate 3 seems to be less crowded than the other gates. Gate one has many shops and food joints. So plan your visit accordingly.

It was Mesmerizing. The temple and the Murti(Statue) of Shri Radha Krishna was so beautiful you can't take your eyes off. I suggest everyone should visit this temple once in their lifetime. This is a historical and religious place for Hindus and for the whole country itself. You can't take your Bags and Mobile or any electronic item inside. So there's storage area just besides the gate. It was a memorable experience there.

Also you have to submit your bags, phone and all the electronic items before entering the area.

Shri krishna janmabhoomi is the birth place of Lord Krishna. Lord krishna is the 8Th child of his parents and he is the incarnation of Lord Vishnu . This place is so sensitive. You can't carry any electronic device even a digital watch. You have to keep your bag outside in the store. There are some counters are made in which you can submit your bag. There are sone counters specially made for mobile phones. Try to go early because the checking and all the these safety protocols will take time.

Krishna Janam Bhumi, located in Mathura, India, is a place of immense historical and religious significance for Hindus. It is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Krishna, one of the most revered deities in Hinduism. Visiting Krishna Janam Bhumi is a profound and spiritual experience for devotees and tourists alike. The main attraction at Krishna Janam Bhumi is the Shri Krishna Janmasthan Temple, which enshrines the prison cell where Lord Krishna is said to have been born. The temple's architecture and the intricate carvings on the walls showcase the rich heritage of the region. One of the highlights of the visit is the darshan (viewing) of the deity. Pilgrims often line up for hours to catch a glimpse of the idol of Lord Krishna. The atmosphere is filled with devotional songs and chants, creating a serene ambiance. The complex also includes several other temples and shrines dedicated to various episodes from Lord Krishna's life. The nearby Yamuna River, where Krishna is believed to have spent his childhood, adds to the mystical aura of the place. While the spiritual significance is undeniable, the site faces challenges such as crowd management and maintaining its historical integrity. Nonetheless, Krishna Janam Bhumi remains an essential destination for those seeking a deeper connection with Hinduism and a better understanding of the life of Lord Krishna. A visit here is a blend of devotion, history, and culture, making it a unique and revered pilgrimage spot

Hare Krishna.. I would say if you are planning to go to Mathura Vrindavan on a family trip then the best thing would be to plan a stay of 2 or 3 days. This temple like most of the other temples has a fixed darshan time. The place is very beautiful. But the PROBLEM here is YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO CARRY ANY BELONGINGS. There are cloakroom facilities for free or paid both so the best option is KEEP ALL YOUR PHONES AND GADGETS IN YOUR CAR or Room and go to this place purely for darshan purpose. Mobile is Not allowed inside so you wouldn't have any pics from inside but you can have pics clicked on the Main Gates. Also one more important thing : There are 3 entry gates out of which Gate 1 and Gate 3 are the Most Busy ones. We found Gate 1 to be less crowded compared to gate 3. Moreover Park your vehicle at public parking or else they would charge 100 to 200 depending upon season. Next important thing DONT PAY MONEY TO BEGGARS (there are a lot of them), (Personal Opinion), donate this money to vridhashram or orphanage homes. Last thing Dont Miss to visit panorama built on the life of krishna. We missed it due to time constraints, as we did not plan our visit.

Shri Krishna Janmasthan Temple is one of the birthplace of lord Krishna. Visiting here will give you a peace and purifies soul. Several invaders destroyed the Janambhumi temple many times. Later after independence in 1951, Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya took the initiative to rebuild the temple. Bags and electronic devices are not allowed inside. You can put in lockers present outside. The visiting time is 5 am to 12 pm and 4 pm to 8:30 pm.

Shri Krishna Janmasthan Temple, also known as Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi temple, is centred on the prison cell where Lord Krishna's parents, Mata Devaki and Vasudeva, were imprisoned by his wicked uncle Kansa. Aside from the prison cell, the Krishna Janmasthan Temple contains other temples devoted to the god. The holy ambience and purity of the temple infuse the heart with confidence that this is the spot where Lord Krishna revealed himself. #Trivia: Several kings destroyed it numerous times before being rebuilt with financial assistance from industrialists. The Krishna Janmasthan Temple sees heavy footfall during holidays such as Janmashtami (The birthday of Lord Krishna), Basant Panchami, Holi, and Diwali. #Note: Cameras/electronic items aren't allowed due to security purposes. Most Mathura temples prohibit cell phones and cameras, therefore try to avoid them when visiting any temple.

There are Collection of temples here. The birthplace is there to visit. No phones are allowed inside, they are submitted at the entrance at minimal fee of Rs.3. Bags are kept at a price of Rs.10. The rush wasn't there in the morning. Fine place to visit. There's a bhojnalaya next to temple complex. Wasn't able to eat there, but do try it if possible.

Very beautiful ancient temple. Even after multiple attacks on this Hindu temple from Islamic invaders, this building stands tall adjacent to illegally and forcefully captured other half part of the temple where now Shahi Eidgah is situated. This is the birthplace of Shri Krishna ji and the "garbhgriha" is situated beneath the temple underground where the karagaar(jail) of king Kans is still there in which Shri Krishna ji was born. Very divine and attractive idols of Shri Krishna and Radhaji is placed inside the temple premises. Jai ho Radha Madhav Sarkar ki💐🙏

Radhe Radhe The vibes that I got by visiting the birthplace of Shri Krishna ji. She was very nice. I was very happy to see the childhood place of Lord Shri Krishna where he was born and I feel like going to Mathura again and again. I keep going to Mathura to have darshan of Shri Krishna ji and you must also go to have darshan and get peace of mind

Temple maintained very well. Cell phones not allowed. You can get good positive vibes. Inside there are museum and cave kind of set up. I took two separate tickets and actually it's one ticket and u can visit both. Good statues and some moving set up. I didn't enjoy. May be kids can enjoy and we can teach krishna story with those set up. Overall it's good visit. Tip: don't get trapped with guides and don't go Gokul. Full of scammers and cheaters there.

Recently, I visited Shri Krishna Janmasthan in Mathura, India and it was a truly awe-inspiring experience. This sacred site marks the birthplace of Lord Krishna and is considered one of the most important pilgrimage sites for Hindus. The complex is comprised of several temples, including the main temple dedicated to Lord Krishna, and it was amazing to see the devotion and faith of the devotees as they offered prayers and performed rituals. The architecture of the temples is beautiful and intricate, with intricate carvings and paintings depicting scenes from Hindu mythology. Visiting Shri Krishna Janmasthan was a humbling experience, reminding me of the rich cultural heritage of India and the deep spiritual significance of this site. Whether you are a religious person or not, this is definitely a place worth visiting for its historical and cultural significance. Overall, my visit to Shri Krishna Janmasthan was an unforgettable experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Mathura.
