We've visited twice now, and it's a wonderful place to explore. The trail to the waterfall into the overlook are both fairly easy to hike and aren't much distance, and you'll have the bonus of driving through a cattle ranch and may see the occasional cow or calf. Make sure you have a decent amount of gas before driving out here, because there aren't any gas stations close by. However, this is well worth the drive.

Get your Zen out. This place is SO Gorgeous and almost makes you cry. Nothing to really say here except enjoy the pictures and quietness.. We were here in July, weather here was a little chilly and REALLY windy, take a coat.

Nice place to stop and stretch. There is a restroom. The falls are beautiful and a short walk.

This was off the beaten path and well worth the trip. Our group was really excited to see this volcano formed water fall. What a sight. The space was full of small paths in different directions to see the huge rock formations with sheer drops. As well as the water fall a short walk away. This was an amazingly beautiful natural site that took my breath away!

There are 2 ways to access thise fall one Is by a dirt road that winds around to a paved parking lot and the other is through a paved road, all of which are off of 149 between South Fork and Lake City. In addition to the beautiful waterfall, the surrounding scenery is beautiful.

Beautiful waterfall! Viewing is a close walk from the parking lot and is accessible to wheelchairs. Worth the stop!

It is always fun to see a waterfall and this is an exceptionally nice one, by Colorado standards. The access road from Hwy 149 is paved. It offers a well-stocked, clean restroom, picnic tables, ample paved parking even for larger vehicles, trails to the overlook, safety railings, and interpretive signs.
