Bhatpara municipality should give more attention for proper maintenance and beautification.

There is a old temple of goddess kali here along with some open space and a park. U can come here for offering worship or u can also enjoy the sandhya arati. A ghat is there where u can sit and enjoy the peacefulness of the ganga.

Bhatpara kali mandir is one of the oldest temple in this district. It is situated on the eastern side of Bhagirathi or Hooghly or river Ganges. Deity in the temple is worshipped as jagadtarini maa. The temple compound is very peace full place. From Naihati station many buses, rickshaws and e-ricksaws are available to reach this temple easily. A small park and a ghat is situated adjacent to the temple.

Its in our heart as we grew up here from childhood, Clean Fresh air and nice ambience through out the Mandir campus, giid for religious activity and Gangasnan and for family time. Now the Mandir is the only place to get genuine mental peace from the Ma Kali but the only bad thing it gets closed within 7PM.
