The reason for giving 2 star is because of ambiance and if anyone asked me regarding food I would have given 1 star, the food over here was horrible, as according to price level the food was not good at all. The food we get was cold and not so taste. And after complaining them, in the next time what we order was far more better. My first experience over here was terrible, as I was expecting more and they didn't match my expectation.. The worst food I ever had in 5 star hostel in my life Areas of improvement: 1. Timing, they were late and slow in service 2. Food quality, kindly check whether the food is warm or not before you serve. Thank you!

We randomly selected this venue for my sisters birthday and were delighted with the ambience, the buffet dishes, the service, the varieties, the desserts, everything was just quality served in style. Loved the salad bar and the hummus, baba ganoush, garlic yoghurt. The soups too had an authentic blend with exotic tastes. Each dish in the buffet section was served on our table and had the delectable taste which we can still feel when we think of that dinner. And not to forget the sweets - great pastries/cakes and even Indian sweets (pheerni, barfis) had amazing taste especially gulab jamun served hot. Loved the experience. Thanks for making it special for my sister :)

Pathetic food, service, un clean plates, cold breads, no butter with breads with soup. No waiter is interested in doing any kind of service. No salt in rajma n paneer makhani, too much noise, literally hate this place. Won't come here again ever in my life. Disgrace to the name of marriot. 3rd July sat dinner with family.. I told them I am booking thru nearbuy they said we will give u same rate as nearbuy dont book from there. Pathetic pathetic pathetic. Going back home hungry.

The review is based on buffet dinner which I had there. Ambience: The place is located in the lobby area of courtyard Marriott. The place is beautifully done with lots of comfortable seating all around. The Staff is courteous, warm and very helpful. Food: The Buffet is quite expansive with lots of cuisines and options to try. Having said that what let me down was the specific taste of things which I feel is more geared for the Non-Indian clientele. There were few stand out items which are very good like the Hummus, Chat counter (The staff made a delectable plate of dhai puri for us), the assortment of Biryani’s (Veg, Chicken and Mutton) with perfect salan’s to accompany it. There is a live counter for Pizza which makes fresh pizza’s (vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian) the staff made a delicious veggie pizza for us. There are options of salads, cold cuts and cheeses (only 2 to 3 types of cheeses available) as well which were fine but nothing outstanding. One of the major let down was that the starters both Veg and Non Veg were cold. In Main course we had option of Indian, Chinese and Continental food. Here the stand out was the Murgh Makhani and the fresh bread basket which the staff got for us. Although I am a great fan of Chinese and continental food (prefer to eat it more than indian) but here none of the dishes looked appetizing. In a buffet you eat more with your eyes. There were a lot of options of deserts ( different types of cakes , pastries, baked yoghurt, rasgulla, mousse), as well but what I liked the most was the simple vanilla ice cream with topping of flaked almonds. The other deserts were ok but nothing looked out of the world or simply sinful to indulge in. All in all the place is decent with lots of options. I expected more from a Marriott property and maybe that’swhy I was a disappointed.

If you are looking a place for a family get together, then this will make it memorable. The buffet spread is humongous, you will find a lot of varieties in the buffet. The is prompt enough to help you in every possible way.

Have changed my review from last time I visited this place. The buffet was terrible. No taste or flavour in any dish. Not worth the money they charge. Any standalone resturant would be better

Wazwan - by now we all have become fan of kashmiri food. Specially rishta, ghustaba, -tabakmaz, haq and other dishes. Therefore, you must be wondering what I ate last night. Well, the chutneys/dips were new. The red pumpkin dip, and the wild berry dip was new and refreshing. In addition, the mutton kanti was the star dish of the day! It is very close to our tawa mutton with Bell pepper and onions. The waza Chef Tariq Ahmad came from Kashmir to host the 2 weeks long Kashmiri food festival at courtyard by marriott Gurugram downtown. The ghustaba was soft and flavourful, one of the best that I have eaten. The fish in tomato gravy (munjh gaadh) was outstanding. The yakhni pulao has the right flavor and the khatte baingan and nadru were outstanding too This Kashmiri food festival is highly recommended and you will love the conversation with Chef Tariq. Courtyard by marriott Gurugram has been one of my favorites for a long time and I always love going back there.

Courtyard By Marriott, Gurugram offering best of services and comforts to the guests with courteous and dedicated team. GM, Bhawna Verma is managing the hotel efficiently for more than a year now. #WAZWAN....the Kashmiri Food Fest is been organized at Courtyard By Marriott, Gurugram and is on till 10th Feb, 2019. Chef Tariq Ahmed is here from Kashmir Valley to give the authentic delicacies, who is quite experinced as he himself and the whole family is involved in this profession only for decades. They use only clarified butter to make these delicacies which is the most healthy medium for cooking. Some of the famous starters  we had..... Kashmiri Seekh Kebab.... perfectly done, Gosht Kanti.... done with bell pepper, onion and spices, Tabak Maaz..... Mutton ribs shallow fried, Chicken Kanti, Fish Tujee....char grilled fish Paneer Kanti, Aloo Moong Dal Tikki.... tasty, Nadru Malai Tikki....very soft and delicious.  Some delicious Dips are also offered. The famous Goshtaba.... the mutton balls in gravy, which takes time to make as the meat is minced for long to make balls out of it and then in yogurt gravy. Tamatar Chaman.... paneer in gravy. Munj Gadh Fish, Waza Chicken, Kashmiri Rajma, Dum Aloo, Nadru Yakhni, Bathak....the green saag. Firni and Suji ka Halwa were served as dessert. Restaurant Manager, Sachin Bhardwaj, server Ravi and team ....all very courteous and attentive. Only few days left to enjoy these Kashmiri delicacies in comfortable and cosy ambiance.
