It was a good experience here. They provide delicious South Indian food. Loved the quality of service, ambience, and taste at this place.

Well this place is a vegetarian's paradise. Located amidst several high end restaurants, this place has just the perfect price and setup. However, you will have to wait for 10-15 mins.. even on weekdays for getting a seat. The dosas are different and fantastic. The place absolutely gives you a real south Indian vibe. You must try the different varieties that they offer apart from the regular dosas. The Thombu & Earthy cooler are the. Drinks to look for !

Located in the posh oasis of 32 Milestone, this one takes south Indian food to the next level. Location and ambience is top class. Parking facility is available with valet. The entire location including the interiors are picture perfect. Service is the best what you can get. Food is good. There is a wide range of dishes, many with the generous use of desi ghee. Price wise reasonable.

The food is good but I guess you would already know that. I am sharing this to highlight the lack of management at this location. They don't take reservations and the there is always waiting (min 30 minutes). The person who is supposed to take your name in the list keeps roaming around. They also take your name and not number so just wait for 45 minutes while they keep saying names. I wonder what will happen if 2 people have the same name. I really liked the food but I would rather eat at the branch at t3 domestic airport. Pls rethink if you are planning to do your weekend dinner here (especially if you plan to come with the whole family).

Not upto the mark in taste as per my personal South Indian taste bud. I still feel that the real south Indian taste is missing. The service is really good though and the menu is also having a lot of varieties. Next time I'm going to try the different food items but the rawa coconut masala dosa was not up to the mark. Also we tried their special dosa which was very thick and had too much butter, too much means extremely too much. Overall experience was good but you have to sit up fast as staff are pushed to have the tables empty asap because of the rush and waiting time.

I have been going to Carnatic cafe since my college days. I never used to review places back then (2012-2016). One thing I want to say about Carnatic cafe is that they have had consisted taste all these years and in their many different outlets. When I went there this time we had paddu, idli, Malleswaram 18th cross, Manina Magga, sahi bada and majjiga. My favourites from here has always been paddu and 18th cross Malleshwaram and those were perfect. Idlis were very fluffy too, dahi vada was also very nice. I didn’t like Manina Magga that much because I am not a big groundnut fan and my friend who ordered liked it. Majjiga is buttermilk that was very refreshing.

Great Food, Long Wait Wrat a review for me of a South Indian restaurant called carnatic cafe in 32nd mile stone. Very good food. Love their Mysore dosa. Their mahabaleshwaram dosa. Thathai idli. Good service. Good location. What I don't like is there is always waiting outside the restaurant and the way to manage the crowd is quite bad. It's unorganised and stressful. I recently dined at Carnatic Cafe located at 32nd Milestone, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The food was exceptional, with their Mysore dosa and Mahabaleshwaram dosa being definite highlights. I also enjoyed their Thathai idli, which was a unique and delicious treat. The restaurant's service was prompt and attentive, adding to the positive dining experience. One drawback, however, was the constant waiting outside the restaurant. The management's approach to handling the crowd seemed unorganized and created a somewhat stressful atmosphere. Despite this, the excellent food and convenient location make Carnatic Cafe a worthwhile choice for South Indian cuisine enthusiasts.

I have been to carnatic the 2nd time around. Dosas are really tasty made in desi ghee. Malleshwaram, bombat have a delicious taste. Sambhar was quite good & so were the chutneys. The peanut paste dosa has a different flavour. Nicely done. Quick service. Nice place. Must try. Their dosas are quite good. Idli was very soft nd nice. Filter coffee was good too. A lil expensive yes. Dosas are fluffy a lil small.

Had to wait about 1 ½ hours for a table. But it was worth it. The treat was amazing, those crisp dosas on outside yet fluffy on inside. Too good to explain. "18th cross maheshwari" is a must try dosa. Make sure you reach early or you won't get any table, they don't take reservations so be early or go somewhere else in 32 nd milestone.

Their signature Dosas are very good and the peanut chutney was definitely the icing on the cake. Service can be improved. Even after waiting for 40 minutes, we expect some decency from the servers. The server snatched the menu from my hand while I was reading it to order desserts.

No doubt, Carnatic cafe serves great food. We visited them on the weekend and there was a huge waiting. We waited for 45 minutes. I would suggest to make reservations in advance. We had Rava Masala Dosa, Tomato Onion Chilly Uthapam (Must try), Fresh Lime Soda, Butermilk and Roasted almond & raw coconut sugar Ice Cream. The food was delicious. The service was not so prompt.

One suggestion - Visit at lunch time to avoid the queue & waiting time. Autentic South Indian restaurant, all the dishes I ordered were too yum. Service, taste, quality everything was good. They add too much of ghee which make the dishes heavy.

One of the best South Indian food restaurants in gurgaon. A must visit. There is always a long waiting queue. You need to wait for at least 15-20 minutes, but the wait is worth the food and quality you get. The ambience of the place is awesome and the 32 avenue ambience makes it a wholesome experience. The staff is very polite and helpful. Food here is made in ghee and has some very special and awesome authentic dishes. We liked neer dosa and paddu. They were just pure and well prepared.

Ambience is good. Taste is also just good only. Earlier it used to have very good authentic taste, but now everything seems average only. Service is quick, saambhar is still good. Pricing is reasonable and genuine. There is waiting if you go after 8pm so preferably reach there by 7:30 pm itself.

Just had Idli Sambhar with 3 chutneys. Amazing taste of chutneys, idlis are also nice, sambhar was bit on the sweeter side and i have tasted better sambhar but overall the quality, hygiene and taste was amazing. Superb for breakfast, it's healthy, yummy and fresh. You feel like having food at home. From your kitchen. Rare to find authentic Karnataka south indian food. Must visit or also you can order from here.

Not worth it at all. Overrated and overhyped. If you are looking for authentic South Indian meal then please avoid coming here. These guys just serve some altered version of south Indian dishes. Those who have eaten authentic dosas before will never like this. We ordered paddu and neer dosa. Both are supposed to be soft but they were served crunchy and crispy. The meal presentation is quite average and service is terrible. Moreover it's always busy and has one hour waiting time in evenings. Ambience is average at best.

Best start to our new year! Super delicious meals. We ordered filter coffee, puddu, rice idli, Vada, onion uttapam, Malleswaram dosa. I personally loved every item but felt that dosa could've been better. Ended it with raw coconut and roasted almond & Belgian Dark chocolate ice cream which was amazingly served in a coconut shell.

Embark on a sensory odyssey as you immerse yourself in the captivating tapestry of true South Indian flavors at this extraordinary haven. The place exudes an irresistible charm, creating an ambiance that effortlessly transports you to the quaint cafés nestled in the heart of South India. Our culinary sojourn began with the 18th Malleswaram Dosa, a culinary masterpiece that unfolded like a symphony of taste. With each delicate bite, it felt as if my palate was traversing through a kaleidoscope of dosa experiences, culminating in an exquisite blend of love, generously infused with ghee and the aromatic podi powder. It's not just a dish; it's a love affair that takes you on an enchanting journey with every delectable morsel. As we indulged in the gastronomic wonders, my daughter was enamored by the creamy ice cream served in a genuine coconut shell. The juxtaposition of flavors, the velvety texture, and the delightful presentation elevated the dessert to an art form. It's a sweet symphony that resonates with joy. Concluding our epicurean expedition with Kesari Bhaat, the simplicity of this dish belies its profound authenticity. Every spoonful is a celebration of tradition, a nod to the roots of South Indian cuisine. The flavors linger on the palate, leaving behind a lasting impression of culinary excellence. In this culinary haven, every dish is a chapter, and each visit is a chance to script your gastronomic adventure. Come, savor the magic, and let your taste buds dance to the rhythm of South India's culinary symphony. It's not just a meal; it's an experience waiting to be cherished.

Food is good. One of the top choices in Gurgaon for South Indian food. I visit here once a week or order and food quality has been consistent. Security at the entrance is a bit rude while providing tables. The main door is difficult to open for ages. Cleanliness can be improved. Another thing I didn't like is I ordered a workshop thatte idli and they gave one piece for 175 plus taxes. Felt this was too pricey for the size given.

Overall: 8.5/10 Food: 9/10 (Onion Rawa Masala Dosa ✅) Service: 8/10 Carnatic Cafe at Gurugram's 32nd Avenue is a go-to spot for an authentic South Indian feast. The aromatic filter coffee and flavorful dosas are unbeatable (lil oily 😅). Beware, though—the waiting queues during peak hours can be long, so plan your visit strategically to savor the experience without the wait.

This place captures the true essence of South Indian food. Dosa, uttapam, appam, vada, filter coffee, everything we ordered was beyond delicious 🫶🏻 Ate till my heart's content and had an amazing time here. 100% recommend this place for your next South Indian food craving. The only downside of their food being delicious is that you'll have to wait to get a table most of the time. Rest assured, the food will make that wait worthy.

Being a South India, did not like the taste and felt that the quantity is too low for the price they charge. Tried: 1. Lemon soda- got it in a small glass with lots of ice 2. Mysore Masala dosa 3. Othappam Not worth the hype.

  • 4/5 Shivanshu A. 7 months ago on Google
The Malleshwaram 18th Cross Dosa is a must have and worth the wait of 30 mins or more which you will find here to get a table, especially during weekends. They need to change the table tops and glasses for water as they do not match with the vibes of the place. The food is very good ! The chutney's are full of flavour and each dosa has a very unique and distinct taste. Has the potential to be one of your go to places for South Indian food. The ice cream can be avoided though its nothing special.

✨Carnatic Cafe is a completely South Indian Delicacy resturant. They are specialised in Various Varieties of Tasty Dosa, Idlis, uttapam etc. ✨I recently visited Carnatic Cafe at 32 milestone and had a fantastic experience. The restaurant is conveniently located in Gurgaon 32nd milestone mezzanine floor and offers a great selection of authentic South Indian dishes. The ambiance is pleasant and comfortable, and the staff members are friendly and attentive. ✨I tried the dosas and uttapam , which were freshly prepared and tasted delicious. The dosa was also flavorful, fluffy and crispy on the outside. I appreciated the use of authentic ingredients and spices in the three chutneys, which added to the overall appeal. ✨The menu at Carnatic Cafe is a harmonious symphony of traditional South Indian dishes. The dosas were delightfully crisp, while the uttapam were soft and fluffy, just as they should be. The sambar had a rich depth of flavor, and the coconut chutney was a refreshing complement to the dishes. The staff at Carnatic Cafe were friendly but not so much attentive to the order , providing helpful suggestions and ensuring a comfortable dining experience. Overall, Carnatic Cafe is a heaven for those seeking an authentic taste of South Indian cuisine. ✨We had Malleshwaram Dosa which is their signature dish(fluffy from inside and crispy from outside with gun powder and peanut paste) Manina Maga Dosa was nice too which had peanut chutney paste and was open flat dosa and last was Mysore Masala Dosa which had garlic flavour. ❤️Highly recommended place. Must go for it💯❤️ ✨With impeccable service, great ambience, warm and comfortable interiors, a welcoming environment and a scrumptious menu, we recommend you to try them out soon. 😋Taste:- 5/5 📽Presentation:- 5/5 🎶Music & Ambience- 5/5 📔Delivery - 5/5 🛋 Seating- 5/5 🧑‍🔧 Service- 3/5 💸Value for Money: 5/5 Join my food journey on Instagram @Foodie_HR26

Carnatic Cafe at 32 Milestone Avenue, Gurugram is located on ground floor at the back side, beside Como Pizzeria. We really had high hopes with the Cafe as they have multiple outlets across NCR. The ambiance was good, there were lot of people sitting and the restaurant was almost full but the food was below par. We ordered the Paper Plain Dosa, Uttapam and Mysore Dosa they tasted different not at all close to what we have in other South Indian restaurants. I have personally been to Southern India and have tasted food at so may places but I just couldn’t connect with the taste here.
