Oh what an experience! The interiors are very Japanese, no shoes upstairs, dividers and everything wooden. It's low seating so be sure to wear something comfortable. The scattered groups of expats from Japan got me very excited for an authentic meal. Had their Yakitori platter, gyoza & kuuraku special ramen. The platter was delicious, especially the chicken meatballs. Gyoza was served on a sizzling platter, again, really nice sear and was crispy, soft and flavourful. Coming to the ramen, this is what was a little disappointing, such a delicious dish, but but but hardly any broth - full of noodles and not enough of the main thing - broth! I would still highly recommend! P. S. Their crispy snacks served complimentary are delicious 😍

The place is on ground floor, mall's entrance go to right side and the restaurant will be at the end. Best place to have Japanese food everything taste amazing. Except the non alcoholic drinks they taste too bad.

A Japanese eatery, which I managed to stumble upon on Zomato. We reached at 10pm, and were denied seating initially, since the restaurant cited closing hours (which were listed as 11pm on Zomato). After a brief argument and some convincing, we were offered a seat. However, the food made up for the initial BS by the staff. The starters can be skipped though, or you could go for the Gyoza which were really good. The cocktails were average also, felt slightly diluted. The ramen however, stole the show. The tonkatsu, as well as the spicy chicken ramen can be considered a 5/5. Overall, a great place for Ramen. Do visit in case you have a Ramen craving.

A fantastic experience- ambience, food and service. We ordered in starters: ebi tempura roll, Taj Mahal roll, veg gyoza, chicken/pork yakitori Kushi course. Mains: pork okonomiyaki, kuuraku special, veg ramen, tomago. Desserts: annin tofu, shiratamai zenzai, honjitsuno sorbet. Drinks: wine and hi-ball cocktails (we lost all the rock paper scissors). Not one bad dish, each one more delicious than the next. The garlic chilli condiment that comes on the table is just pure gold, we finished the entire bottle. Could do this meal all over again tomorrow, it is a MUST visit in Gurgaon.

We went here for the first time wanting to try a new place and reviews were great for it. And they weren’t wrong. Parking at Global Foyer (where this is located) is easy. We called ahead for a reservation and glad we did because the place got busy. As soon as we entered we had the entire staff welcome us in unison (chefs, servers, all of them). It was nice. We chose to sit upstairs but they have the option to sit next to the kitchen where you can watch the food being made. You take off your shoes and put them in little lockers before going upstairs. The menu has plenty of options and the portion sizes are quite generous. And serving efficiency is amazing. We got our food fast. The food was delicious for the most part. My kids finished their food which is always a good indicator of the food taste. About the environment though - this place gets busy. And seating is close together (very cozy). So it gets loud. It didn’t bother us much, but it may to some. Another thing was that our seat had direct cold air coming from the cooling vent and we didn’t think of asking for a change of seat. Half way through our meal, we were quite chilly. Having said all of that, it is a place we will visit again. (One thing I haven’t seen elsewhere is that for some of their alcoholic drinks, you can play rock paper scissors with the staff, and if you win, they give you an extra large glass for free. The table next to us did this and it was fun to watch.)

Kuuraku has been my go-to ramen-joint ever since we moved to Delhi. Not believing that proper ramen (and Japanese food in general) was possible to enjoy, I was more than happy when realizing what this place (and quite a few other places in Delhi/Gurgaon) has to offer! All the ramens are good or great! Last weekend I had “Kotteri Ramen”. A fantastically made ramen on thick chicken-broth. Not too thick, not too rich, just perfectly made. With a good portion of thin, Al dente, noodles and super-tender chicken meat, the bowl of ramen easily makes top grade. The only negative (and this is in general a “problem” in India) is the over-cooked egg. And when this egg seemed to have a sour (bad?) taste, it’s probably going to be a 4.5 ⭐️ rather than the full 5. Ramen together with their gyoza is an amazing combo! Ps.: the location of this place is in the corner, hidden in a very empty “shopping-mall”. Don’t get fooled and turn if you think it’s a bit scratchy, the place serve some amazing dishes, check it out!!!!

It had an amazing environment, the chefs and staff were motivated. They cook right in front of you, they greet you when you enter and exit the restaurant. The food I would say was good but not amazing. Would recommend a one time visit at least.

Ramen and Pork skewers were amazing. Very authentic Japanese restaurant. Vibe is amazing and everyone is a lot of fun to interact with. Sushi was slightly underwhelming but everything else was awesome.

The Kuuraku is certainly bit of an oddball. Starting off with the quirky Japanese greeting to the cramped, dimly lit cabins - one gets the impression that budget was a problem. That being said, the foods great! 4/5 in terms of depth of flavour and prompt service - indeed Kuuraku’s only saving grace. The air conditioning wasn’t functioning the night we visited and thus overall it was a rather unpleasant experience. Would recommend the skewers and ramen, the deserts as well!

Experiencing Japanese cuisine for the first time, we encountered a place with a unique atmosphere. The staff's hospitality was warm, and they engaged us in a dice game, resulting in winning a tofu dish for our next visit. The menu offers an extensive array of Japanese dishes. Our choices included the delectable gyoza and Chicken yakitori in spicy sauce, paired with mango beer. Interestingly, the mango beer resembled more of a mango-flavored drink than a traditional beer taste. Opting for the upstairs seating due to the occupied and reserved downstairs, we plan to return, eager to explore different menu options on our next visit.

Wide variety of Japanese food. Ramen was good. Some of the dishes not true to the authentic Japanese flavour but still tasty. Ambience and atmosphere were very Japanese and love the very motivated kitchen staffs.

This wonderful little izakaya sits in one otherwise neglected corner of the Global Foyer Mall. It’s spread over two levels, and the downstairs area has the open kitchen down the right side, with a row of cubicles, separated by bead curtains, opposite that. Each cubicle seats four, on comfortable sofas. The menu is both in Japanese as well as English, and contains plenty of options, from sushi to yakitori, ramen, don, starters of various kinds, desserts, soft as well as alcoholic drinks, and so on. My husband, daughter and I chose to start with a butabara (pork yakitori), a dynamite roll sushi, and a tori no karaage (fried chicken), followed by a chashu don (roast pork ‘bowl’ with seasoned sticky rice, shredded cabbage, and a seaweed garnish). Service was very quick and efficient, and every single item was delicious. Highly recommended.

I had an incredible dining experience at the Japanese restaurant! The barbecue pork and ramen were absolutely delicious, and the ambience added to the overall enjoyment. The flavors of the food were exceptional, and the cozy atmosphere enhanced the meal.

The aka-tonkatsu ramen was the only disappointing thing in an otherwise good experience. Ambience is good. Gyoza and yakitori were quite delicious (almost authentic). I have been living in Japan for more than 3 years now and have had an insane amount of ramen, so I am quite aware of how a good, authentic ramen should taste- and this one was no where close. Some of the cup noodles I buy from stores taste better. Price is slightly on the higher side.

Great atmosphere and service. They follow traditional Japanese practices and the whole staff greets you when you enter and exit. The food is mostly non-vegetarian. The veg dish that I ordered didn't suit my palette. So I'd suggest you consult the waiting staff for good recommendations.
