Famous tourist place in Haryana. Few things to highlight. This is the oldest place where birds comes from different different countries every year. Anyone should visit here in monsoon season only. People from different different countries comes here, mainly photographers. Good and stay- Not good. 2/5 Government should focus here for tourism and facility. Water available in jheel only rainy season, government should take care for water and planting here. Cleaning and other process too. Not recommend to visit here in night.

Very very nice for a close to nature outing. Take 1.5 to 2 hours to complete a tour on foot. Binoculars is a must because it is mostly bird watching. If you visit in the migrating season nov- March, you can see some pretty great birds. Pelicans are in abundance and so are rare ducks. The souvenir shop is very unique. It has some really pretty bird decor. People also go for picnic there. Ample of open space to sit and sun bathe with family.

If you are a nature lover and you have patience for bird watching, a must visit for you. You need to carry your own binoculars, High Zoom Lens for optimal viewing. The best time obviously is winters ideally Dec - Feb but do see a forecast and avoid foggy days. I recommend you take a guide or else if you are not having enough knowledge yourself the visit might be futile. You can also hire E Carts to go around the place. Expect to see Egrets, Painted Storks, Darter Birds, Kingfisher, Many kind of Migratory Ducks and many others. You can even spot a Nilgai or two but rare. The food and beverage options are limited so recommend you carry yours or else no problem try what you get here not bad. The facilities could be a little better I guess but nevertheless a must visit, kids would love it for sure. I tried to capture a few videos but they were out of range hence advised you to cater binoculars or take guides who have this.

Ideal place for bird lovers , you can also rent binoculars , surrounded by lake and have a beautiful trail through nature. Entry ticket is Rs 5 only per person. Parking is available. Ideal time to visit is in morning hours. Away from the busy city life this place brings a lot of peace. One can easily witness lots of migratory birds and Nilgai .

It's a good place to visit if u like to see different birds, or looking for a place to visit with kids. The area is too big to walk, so better not to take a full round, only half circle is enough as other half is dry and no new bird which cannot be seen from 1st half area. Don't take battery car ride it's not worth. But if you are planning for full round then consider it. Best time to go is early morning. But you can see them during day time as well.

We had an awesome time. Place is fantastic, we saw so many birds, deer and Neel ghai. So serene and beautiful, lake was lovely. Only suggestion i would give the authorities is to install seats to rest after the real long walk. There are many elderly people who came with us and wanted to rest from time to time.

Close to highway, that's why can't see most of the birds. I was there early morning it was too much foggy weather... Migrated birds will be there in winter only. No use to go there in another season.

Giving it 4 stars because I wasn't actually able to go inside. But from what the place seemed to me, it would've been even more beautiful. Due to Covid restrictions, the Park is closed at present. I went there on 7th Dec and the place was so calm (except for the traffic) as it happens to be part of highway. The surrounding areas are worth exploring and best for passing time in most elegant and peaceful manner. There's also a resort just beside the Park where one can stay for 1-2 days and enjoy visiting the park early morning. Timings - 7 AM to 4:30 PM. I am putting out more pictures from that day. Hope it'll be of help to whoever wants to visit the place. Have a great day ahead ^_^

I visited here on 2nd February 2020. It was totally dried up at that time. We encountered very few birds. You should visit here on spring or rainy season. Or if have better knowledge of migration cycle of birds. Place was good i really like this place. it's a good place to relax , very calm and you can take long walk with someone you can talk to and view is good. There was some bird museum but i was not able to visit there due to some restrictions. it opened now.

Great place for bird watchers. Get your DSLRs out and enjoy the photo spree. It has about 3.5-5km track covering the entire park, some view points along the way are worth going all the way up. Place has a nice, peaceful ring to it. Worth a visit. Preferred to take binoculars along, else they do provide it on rent as well. Enough parking space as well. People can take the golf cart as well to ride around in the park.

Sultanpur National Park is very beautiful place an excellent birds sanctuary where you walk around the wetland to see the migratory birds. It's supports more than 220 species of resident, winter migratory and local migratory waterbirds at critical stages of their life cycles. A good pair of binoculars is a must to clearly see the wildlife from a safe distance, without disturbing them. Every year a large number of migratory bird species arrive here.

My recent visit to Sultanpur National Park in Gurgaon left me spellbound, and I wholeheartedly give it a well-deserved five-star rating. Nestled amidst the bustling city, this natural oasis is a haven for birdwatchers, nature enthusiasts, and anyone seeking respite from the urban chaos. As I entered Sultanpur National Park, I was immediately greeted by the serene and tranquil atmosphere. The park's sprawling landscape, encompassing lakes, wetlands, and dense vegetation, provided a perfect habitat for a diverse range of avian species. The symphony of bird calls and the sight of colorful feathers flitting through the air created a mesmerizing experience that immersed me in nature's beauty. Sultanpur National Park is renowned for its impressive bird population, making it a paradise for birdwatching enthusiasts. With over 250 bird species recorded in the park, including migratory birds from distant lands, every corner of the park seemed to hold a new discovery. From graceful herons and elegant egrets to vibrant kingfishers and majestic raptors, each bird sighting brought joy and awe. The park's well-maintained bird hides and watchtowers provided ideal vantage points for observing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitats. The park's biodiversity extends beyond its avian residents. Sultanpur National Park is home to a variety of flora and fauna, contributing to its ecological significance. The vibrant flowers, towering trees, and buzzing insects added a layer of enchantment to the park's natural tapestry. As I walked along the well-marked trails, I marveled at the delicate balance of ecosystems and the interconnectedness of all living beings. Sultanpur National Park offers much more than birdwatching opportunities. The park provides picnic areas and recreational facilities, making it an ideal spot for families and friends to spend quality time amidst nature. Additionally, the park's location near Gurgaon makes it easily reachable for both locals and tourists, offering a much-needed nature escape in the vicinity of the city. Review Date: 17/11/2023 Visited around 10:00 AM (Solo Trip) Parking available for both bikes and cars; no charges for bike parking, unsure about car parking charges—heard it might be 10 Rs. Ticket Price: 10 Rs per person (excluding camera charges, if you bring a camera, additional fees apply, not sure about the ticket price for Camera) Note: this doesn't apply to mobile phones Very minimal crowd at this time of day; I only saw one guy and a family during my 2-3 hour visit. During my visit, I observed mostly lake birds like ducks, storks, herons, etc. Also spotted smaller birds, cows, and blue bulls. No dining options inside, so bring snacks as you'll likely get hungry while exploring this vast area. Consider bringing binoculars; the lakes are at a distance, making it challenging to see with the naked eye. There are multiple posts built where you can climb to enjoy the view with binoculars (use them responsibly). Restrooms are outside, advisable to empty your tanks before you go in lol Here are few pictures 🫡

An exquisite place to relax your senses. Best to visit is during mornings 7 till 11am. One can spot lot of migratory birds. Even if you can’t spot anything it’s a great place for calmness & to listen to your inner voice. I went with my 1 year old, reached at 10am, did half a round only as it was breezy for babies. But they thoroughly enjoyed sight of flying birds, cows & some wild cows. You can hire entire buggy or golf cart for 700 INR for an hour trip for the park tour.

Obviously this is a love spot for birders, so is for people looking for a casual picnic escape. This is not a natural lake as opposed to what is generally believed but a low land area which has to be flooded each season. The water is brought to the park from a canal passing by. As the water is filled, truck loads of fish are released regularly to feed the avian visitors. The park is spread in large areas, part is open water lake and part is tree cover. The main attraction is various birds which arrive here. There are also antelopes and few other animals. The park has guest house, watch towers and well maintained gardens. It also has a museum style building showcasing birds and animals bust along with information displays about birds. The entire park is dotted with various species of plants and trees. This park gets open for general public in month of August or October. At entry gate there is a list for various entry fees, but generally its free, you may be asked to show an Id. The best time to visit this place is from mid october. The park is well connected by main road, but with limited public transport connectivity. Its better to drive your own vehicle or rent one for the day.

Sultanpur National Park is a Ramsar Protected site and home of Manu migratory as well as residential birds. Best time to visit this place is during winter as this is the season when most of the migratory birds come and stay here escaping chilly cold winds in the northern part of globe. If you want most of your visit, Don't forgot to bring your binacular. You can take one on rent paying 200 rupees at ticket counter. Normal entry ticket price is 5 Indian rupees.

If you appreciate tranquility, nature, and birdwatching, this place is a haven for you. However, if you're a party person or enjoy spreading litter, this might not be your ideal spot. The park exudes a peaceful ambiance, perfect for unwinding and connecting with nature. Ideal times to visit are early morning or before 4:30 pm. The 4-5 km walking circle, including a distant lake, offers a serene experience, especially for bird spotting – bring your best zoom camera. Consider hiring a cart for a comprehensive park tour.

Kids will learn about nature and for family it will be refreshing. 5 rupees ticket for adult and 5 rupees for bike parking. bring your own camera for awesome photos, enjoy sight seeing from watch towers, Lovely place. Note : for more birds please visit in Winter. In summer you will get only local birds. It is less engaging in summer.

Visited the sanctuary in October 2019. Though there weren't many birds around at that time it was a good experience. The park is having a vehicle to take visitors around for a very nominal fee and the driver doubles up as guide. He told us that though around this time of the year Migratory birds are usually present, at the moment they have not yet arrived. At the entrance they have descriptive information w.r.t. birds, which is quite informative. There is a resort adjacent to the sanctuary which has decent accommodation and a cafeteria.

The park is amazing and is a good place for day out with kids. Go 7 am to 9 am otherwise it's too crowded later with local tourists. ₹5 for entry ₹20 for car parking which is big. For electric cart, the experience was really bad. ₹500 30 mins ride (they will say 1 hrs but will complete in a hurry in 30 mins). No receipt for the golf cart, paid to the driver in cash, full corruption.

Sultanpur National Park is also known as Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary, is a popular bird sanctuary located in the Indian state of Haryana, near the city of Gurgaon. It is around 50 km from Delhi and covers an area of about 1.43 square KMs and is home to a diverse range of bird species. It was established in 1972 with the aim of conserving the habitat of migratory birds and providing them a safe haven during their winter migration. During the winter season this park becomes a temporary home for a vast number of birds, including both aquatic and terrestrial species. Apart from migratory birds, Sultanpur National Park also hosts a wide variety of resident bird species. These include painted storks, spot-billed ducks, white ibis, black-necked storks, and various species of herons, egrets, and kingfishers. To facilitate bird watching and conservation activities, Sultanpur National Park offers several amenities for visitors. It has well-maintained walking trails, watchtowers, and hides strategically placed across the park, providing excellent vantage points to observe the birds in their natural habitats. It offers a serene and picturesque environment for bird lovers, photographers, and nature enthusiasts to explore and appreciate the beauty of avian life. Recently they have started a battery car to roam into the park starting from the 500 to 700.

A good place to come to chill out and have some decent photography if you like. There's nothing much to see apart from beauty of the nature. Evening time would be best to come and you might be able to get some pretty good sun set photographs. There are some animals, ducks mostly. Decent place to spend a evening alone or with friends and family. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and had some tea in the end. It was fun.

A 3.5 km track around the lake with chirping birds voice in nature is must on your to do list. Carry binoculars/telescope for watching if you want to enjoy the beauty of this place. Mostly crowded over the weekend. Plan for one day picnic 😊

It’s a nice winter outing. Plenty of birds and blue bulls and lovely surroundings. Binoculars are a must, the walk around is about 4 km. There is a Haryana tourism restaurant outside the park nearby. Tasty Indian food is served by friendly staff. There is no bar there anymore, residential rooms are available. The Park is closed on Tuesdays. Plenty of parking is available. Entry fee is @5/-. There are golf carts available @500/- for one hour. Ideal outing would be post breakfast, spend two hours walking tour on a sunny winter day, have lunch and return. Eatable are not allowed in the park.

Beware: there is one bull which almost attacked us without provoking, luckily we took cover and he moved on otherwise it could be dangerous, Later I informed authority as well with a picture of it I took from behind, so that they can identify n get it out of park, but god knows they will take any action or not, so if you are with kids even alone better take caution. It's an ok place for a winter afternoon outing, but this incident scared me, if you are hoping for clean air that's not wat u are gonna get there, dusty mud track, cow dung everywhere it stinks, some migrant birds in middle of a lake/wetland can be watched properly through either with high end camera lenses (a lot of them required) or binoculars. It's not a scenic view. Most important is safety which is not there there are roz/ neel gay which could be dangerous as well as bulls as I have mentioned in starting. Still if u want to visit this place at ur risk it's your choice.

CLOSED. Don't know how is it. We go there and it is closed. We asked from watchman he said it is closed before corona. Really disappointed because not a single website is showing that it is closed even some websites are showing that it is open and showing it's opening and closing time too. Please check before visit.

Closed, the next door Haryana Tourism complex is open, Not only to residents of hotel, but also for outsiders. Even a function was organised in green area. The migratory birds r there, but gates r closed. Unprofessional and foolish decision.

A nice place at an hours distance from south Delhi. It is a wetland habitat used as stop over place by migratory birds during winter. It has been recently declared as 'Rasmar site'. Has a nice information centre and a hotel just next to the parking area run by Haryana tourism known as 'Rosy Pelican'. You can get descent food here. Definitely a go to place for weekend roaming.

This is nice place for relaxing to your senses, this place has calmness in it, you can sit and relax. You can visit in early morning or in evening before 4.30 pm. You have to complete a walk circle inside this park which is around 4-5 km. In between there is a lake which is far away from pathway, you can spot some birds there. Better carry your best zoom camera to capture those. There is nothing to spot nearby pathway in which we have to walk. You can als hire a cart for complete tour of this park. Ticket charges 5 rs per person. Parking charges 10 rs for four wheeler.

Don't go with high expectations as birds you see are far away and the area is limited where you can watch birds. Do carry binoculars for birds watching. Tickets are pretty cheap with good parking as well. Children's gonna enjoy a bit.

Sultanpur National Park & Bird Sanctuary is located in Gurgaon district of Haryana, 46 kms. from Delhi and 15 kms. from Gurgaon on the Gurgaon - Farukh Nagar Road. The Sultanpur National Park is lush with trees, shrubs and clusters of bougainvillea. A good pair of binoculars is a must to clearly see the wildlife from a safe distance, without disturbing them.

I went to visit this park on 14 FEB 2021. Posters of -- Closed due to corona --pasted at main gait. Problem -- 1. No info about it's closure, on website /google. So, wastage of time petrol, energy , and spoiled our mood. 2. If we go from Gurgaon side, u have to cross, village - Chandu and Dhankot, and in both villages, we got heavy traffic jams today ,both ways . So basically, we enjoyed traffic jam today, rather than park.

The park is full of birds but the maintenance is not good. Vehicles are available inside the park but there is no system to book. You have to ask the driver directly. He may charge you around 300/-. There is no restaurant or water facility inside the park..there is a pelican tourism restaurant adjacent to national park which is ok for food and restrooms. Be prepared for 1-2 KM walk inside if you don't get vehicle.

We were there in the first week of November, after the park opened after more than one year. It was shut down due to covid. Birds were in plenty but will populate by dec-Jan. As per various reports, this year good sighting of birds is expected. Few Battery operated golf carts would transport visitors to different spots. But greater fun is to walk and do the sighting. Once can also find animals like deer etc. Carry snacks etc since inside nothing is there.

Nice place, feels like being in the lap of nature. The beauty of this place is the crudeness, nothing has been artificially built inside the complex. You can watch hundreds of bird species, 'Nilgaays' (sorry I don't know what it is called in English). The walk is around 4.5 kilometers with a few natural lake. A must go weekend during winters for sure.

Visited this National Park after many years . It is nicely maintained and is ideal for Nature lovers . Ine can see lots of Painted Stork and Black Ibis nesting on top of trees in huge numbers besides migratory birds on the water. There are few Blue bulls(Nilgai) too. A small restaurant is available close to the main entrance . Entry fees is not too costly. Lots of Parking space available.
