A great place to see Terracotta collection. There are two more small meseums showing brass and textiles which are also worth a visit. You can visit the pottery section to see people learning on the potters wheel. One thing which was really missed was a Cafe, I wish they start a regular cafe open all days.

A beautiful place for reflection, unwinding and learning life lessons. If you are in Delhi and want to spend quite time with self and maybe want to indulge yourself in learning some skills related to terracotta, this is your best bet to be. A beautiful atmosphere, lush greenery and morning cheering of peacocks will mesmerize you. It won't be surprise if you are in love with this place and don't want to go back at all. :)

This is a brilliant place to be in Delhi without feeling the Urban Delhi. The space builds up a ecosystem when you can relax resonate and reflect and learn. Highly recommend the place for folks looking to chill out and cut off from the urban world. Only downside is the network reception in this place is weirdly low. But if you think about it that is totally fine because that would help you to focus on yourself better.

Very nice terracotta and textile museum. You should visit this place with some time at your hand. Whole campus is aesthetically designed and overall nicely managed. If possible book one room here and stay full day to feel and experience the ambiance.

A very calm place away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is very beautiful place surrounded with trees and ponds. And the place is in itself is a pleasant escape from the city. It also has three museums. There are beautifully designed buildings in harmony with the natural environment.

Seriously in love with this place Sanskriti Kendra is a treasure trove of cultural and traditional wonders. Walking through its halls feels like stepping back in time, immersing oneself in the lifestyles of ancient civilizations. The textile and ornament museums are particularly fascinating, offering glimpses into the craftsmanship and artistry of bygone eras. Each exhibit tells a story, enriching our understanding of humanity's rich tapestry. A must-visit for anyone interested in history and heritage.

First off, calling this place a museum is a misnomer. At best it's a contemporary art gallery with some of the display pieces kept for sale. Maybe it's because I don't have a sophisticated artistic taste but man a lot of the art seems lame. There was a chair with a moving belt that's supposed to represent the temporary nature of power. Another piece was a large roll of toilet paper with something scribbled on, representing God knows what. The entry fee for this, while it wasn't expensive, was not worth the money when compared to the actual museums. Finally the staff over there seemed to have preferential treatment for folks who are likely to buys one of the 'art' pieces over casual visitors. Of all the places I visited in the state, this was the only one that I regret having spent money and time on.

A Worthy visit. Different types of art which are mostly inspired by the theme of sand and sea and India is displayed here. Starts with a video about the artist and his ideas. They also have a store where you can buy some souvenirs. Typically it takes 1.5 - 2hrs to cover the whole museum.

Amazing place. It has terracotta and ikat museums inside. They also have pottery set up and it is amazing to look at their creations! They have rooms have well which are very nicely made. The kitchen serves very tasty and healthy food. The best times I spent there were early mornings and late nights when I used to walk around and experience the calmness. There is fresh air around you all the time and it feels amazing!

This is a beautiful place. You can experience the nature, positivity and serenity of this place. I saw few very beautiful birds when I first went there. My second visit was really memorable. There was a Ceramic fest going on and I got to see really nice stuff made by different Artisans. It was so nice that I couldn't resist buying things and I got them in reasonable price.

Thank you for screening movie 'Aligarh' for us followed by discussion. I observed that a bunch of people were not wearing mask during the event. The organiser could make mask compulsory to attend the programme as the chairs were closer to each other. It was uncomfortable to attend almost 2 hours of programme among the unmasked persons. Hope you will follow the protocol seriously in future events.

Mog is situated near pilerne industrial estate which has a very narrow winding road to the top. An entry fee of Rupees 150 per adult for local residents is charged. This place has numerous art peices on display with fancy artworks. Few spots to click pictures as well with a cafe at the entrance (which is shut due to covid). Do give a call before visiting this place as they have timings

Extraordinary contemporary art museum with seriously unique art pieces. Everything here is aligned with the theme and has a back story. Do read about how each art piece was created. You'll be amazed! The ticket price is Rs. 150/- per person which also includes a short film in their auditorium. I bought nice little Goan soviners for friends from here. Do try painting if you get time. Great place for photos.

As the name suggest, Sanskriti Kendra is the hub of cultural activities. This place is surreal and the calmness of this area makes your thought process work in a creative manner. The three museums out here are worth visiting. Kids will love the toy museum where they will be able to see ancient toys made of mud and clay. For any textile enthusiast the other museum out here, dedicated to textile is worth visiting. This place also organize various workshops on painting, clay design and many other art forms. It is a place worth visiting.

  • 5/5 Travel & U. 4 years ago on Google
Though the museum is nice enough and very well maintained, but it is very small and when we have visited only half of the museum. Reason? because some workshop was going on 🤔 My advise is not to visit during the evening or late hours coz it is bit scary in the sense that there is no crowd visiting this museum at all 🤪and no auto rickshaw or three-wheelers available to go to the museum from the metro station, it's 1.5 km walk from Ghitorni metro station yellow line and and nearly 1 km from Arjan garh! Metro station yellow line. And to walk during this scroching weather with the humidity is not advisable 😖 the way from metro till the museum is very dirty full of garbages till the point where we take left to inter the man road gate. Photography is not allowed inside the museum Restaurant was closed! Btw there is an alternative to this museum called National Handloom museum at Pragati maidan which has exactly the same artifacts, and same way of displaying it they have restaurant with awesome food and good services museum shop for souvenirs and the museum it self is fully air-conditioned which is awesome🤙🤙🤙👌👌👌 and entry is Rs. 20 only for Indians.

Its a total gem hidden between the lush greenery and calmness of South Delhi. If one has a thirst for the beautiful portrayal of cultural art of different states of India then this place a must visit. Located near Arjangarh metro station, this place is full of surprises. You can experience the rural beauty in Sanskriti Kendra. Though museums are important part of it, there are several other activities that are organised here periodically and one can also take part in the workshops. If you want to have a walk to enhance your cultural and intellectual experience then its a must visit place for you.

The place is so good that you want to go there every weekend. Its so peaceful and beautiful. But the security guards and other workers are so annoying there, they won't let you enjoy the beauty of the place. There is one security guard he was so rude and we can sense that he doesn't want us to go in there so he do not have to commit his job and can sit only. There is one worker roaming around us everytime, at each corner we are going. They don't even let us sit at any place. We visited there to enjoy but alas! the workers and one guard set us on disappointment.
