My experience was not great. I and my wife booked a stay from 21 May to 22 May. It was room 801. We booked for all meals option. Following is my review: 1) We checked out on 22 May at around 12:17 PM. But I forgot my phone charger in the room. I called the reception multiple times to check if they have it but every time I got the response that we are checking and will let you know. After waiting for one hour, and no communication from the hotel staff I decided that I have to go in person to the hotel to check. I went there and the reception guy told me that "Sir please sit. We have not found your charger yet, we are checking." I did not understand how can they not find a charger in one hour. I told the reception guy that please send one person with me to the room to get the charger. Then I went with one staff to the room and I found the charger was there where I left it in the charging socket in my room 801. Nobody checked my room for the charger before I got there myself. This behavior of the staff was very bad and unacceptable for a 5-star hotel. 2) The lunch buffet was 5 out of 10. The food taste was bad. The variety was good but the taste was bad for all. We tried Asian, continental, and Indian. All were bad. The spices and salt were mild. Not at all rich and flavorful. 3) The dinner buffet was 3 out of 10. Again the variety was good but no taste at all. All the food was bland, mild, and tasteless. We get better food outside at any 2-3 star hotel or restaurant. 4) The next day's breakfast buffet was 10 on 10. It was great. No complaints in taste. Overall, with the charger experience and lunch and dinner buffet experience, I do not recommend this to anyone. Not a 5-star experience at all.

When you claim to be a 5 star hotel and charge the guests accordingly, you are expected to offer top-notch hospitality services. When the guests choose to stay in a 5 star hotel, they expect to get a comfortable stay. Courtyard by Marriott Gurugram Downtown has a long way to become a 5 star hotel and our stay here is far from being comfortable. First of all, It’s freezing cold in the lobby and the dining area of the hotel. The first night we had dinner here we saw the guests sitting in jackets trying to get warm. It is unbearably cold. The only explanation I got - it’s cold time in Delhi now and we do not have central heating. Pretty good for a 5 star hotel! The room has the option for a/c only, not heating. Good luck to all the guests coming during cold times. You will depend on the weather in the city. We visited different 5 star hotels in Delhi for lunch and dinner and not a single one was as cold as Courtyard. Very limited options for European breakfast. Try to enjoy overcooked fried potatoes and ham which taste like rubber sole of a shoe and watery oats. The furnishing is old, some lamps in the room do not work, the cheapest possible hair dryer. It’s a total disappointment

Hotel is nice. Breakfast spread was very nice. The chefs were kind enough to come and check if we were having a good time. In the afternoon i ordered butter chicken from their lunch menu. That was really really wierd and gave me a wierd stomach. Gravy tasted decent. But chicken tasted strange - chewy and old.

Ok Hotel given that its rated 5 stars. Staff are friendly and the room service staff did exeptional job in maintaining the room tidy and clean. Has good restaurant and some of the staff in the restaurant also deserves praise for going beyond their normal duty. The lift card reader is an relic and takes almost 20 seconds to read your card. If your room is beside the fire exits then it's very noisy as staff use those entrances to move and the doors bang like no tomorrow.

Best experience mostly due to wonderful , considerate and professional staff. Ms Suparna in reception was very helpful and so considerate that she arranged something for our daughters first Bday. Mr Atiq , chef , time and again took care of food needs of our baby daughter , being playful with her whildst catering to all guest. We faced no problem and enjoyed special day.

The arrangements for the function were really good and the staff is always willing to help. The food is decent, nothing being a must have though.

Do not use their laundry service!! It is literally 20 (yes TWENTY) times more expensive than any other laundry places nearby. I wanted to cancel the laundry from my package and they said it’s IMPOSSIBLE so I can’t cancel the service I am extremely unhappy about. Washing of one T-shirt costs around 340 rupees (which is 3.5 EUR for one shirt!). For the reference 350 rupees is the price of 3.5 kg of laundry in a regular place. Also, there were a couple of hiccups with the taxi service when my request for the taxi was completely ignored. I would strongly advise not to use any of the services because they are horribly overpriced. Daylight robbery. The TV is really old so you can’t even watch Netflix there or cast YouTube from your phone. I would give one star but the staff is nice and I like their gym.

Food quality can be improved. Safety is a major concern in this hotel, not a very great experience in my last stay. There should be more strict procedures followed and applied to all the staff members.

Rooms are quite spacious and clean. The swimming pool and surrounding area is amazing and very well maintained. Perfect place to relax when the weather is good! The staff does try to accommodate requests/complaints which is positive. One minor point- Air conditioning system needs to be upgraded as default setting for temperature is 18 degrees. The staff did try to resolve this but after 4 unsuccessful attempts and 1 room change, we gave up. Overall a pleasant stay

Very well behaved staff, nice and friendly environment location wise close to many corporate parks. Room are well maintained and food quality is good. They have an open area in the middle of the hote which gives it a nice as lively touch.

We stay here every year because it is convenient to family. Some of the floors haven't been renovated yet, so appear a bit worn. But the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the renovated rooms are contemporary and attractive. Breakfast buffet is a favorite with extensive western and Indian offerings. The concierge lounge is open evenings only and will do if you want a light meal. Service is usually attentive throughout the property. If you are lucky, you might get glimpses of a wedding taking place on the premises. Indian weddings are always something to behold....

One of the best hotels i have been at. Incredible service, and the restaurant the have on the first floor is amazing and has a great service. I tried all three meals there and it was a great choice to go for their buffet. Their chef came out to check on all guests and we had the opportunity to try some of his new dishes that will be added to the menu soon. The rooms are really clean and they have a nice view of the city.

I enjoyed my stay, room was clean and modern. Location is good too. Staff are very considerate and polite. Nitish and ritika at front desk were a breeze to deal with. I even got the free upgrade and late checkout. Can’t ask for more really. I recommend this hotel

Our experience at the Courtyard Marriott was truly exceptional. We had booked a room for 5 nights at the peak booking period at the end of the year. Because of a family medical emergency had to check out after a just a day and the hotel refunded the unused amount right away without any questions and also organised a complimentary airport drop and breakfast early in the morning to help us out during this stressful period for us. We really appreciated this gesture of the hotel. Their check-in and room service staff were very courteous and efficient and in fact got us a yoga mat in super quick time as my wife wanted to do some yoga in the evening. We obviously didn't get to experience the hotel well but will definitely be back and and cannot recommend it enough to others.

It’s not just poor ! It the worst of kind when it comes to guest experience . I have been staying here for 2 weeks now , have never experienced any service bitter than what downtown Marriott could offer . 1) The breakfast spreads are same daily .. nothing new . If you expecting a cup of tea you would end waiting for an hour min for it to be served at ur table . They might be okay to let you go , however will ensure they take their own sweet time . Moral to learn - if you ordering for a fresh juice or anything that’s not there in their spread , min 45 mins will be your wait time .. sometimes they will even forget u placed an order 2) I had a terrible headache and had informed about my health condition to the hotel desk . Since I was having uneasy , I had requested dinning room to get me a lime water to my room .. I had to wait for 2 hours but it never came and slept off . This shows how concern are they about their guest 3) incident again , I requested for dinning plate . I had to make 4 calls to in room service and After every call , they kept on saying the person is on his way . They took good 1hour 15 mins to get me a plate ! I had dinner at 11.38pm .. after a hectic day at work .. this is worst could one get treated when u want to end your long day. 4) incident 4 - security guards will prefer to greet and treat you subject to their preferences . After raising multiple complaints to the desk , they kept assuring they would take care of this matter personally and would sort out the issue . That never happened . My experience went down each day . I actually starting ignoring later . I am going to ensure , I don’t return here again and not recommending this place , as they do-not maintain the brand of Marriott . I have travelled to multiple cities and countries and stayed at many properties for my work and leisure travel , never had this kind of bitter experience. They are just downgrading their brand value . They do-not value their guest ! They will NOT take care of you . I found my experience quite disrespectful. My room no - 801 !

First time at this hotel, and I can see why it was recommended. Although, I would not recommend the executive floors, if you want to visit the lounge - not worth the extra money. The food is stale and service isn't up to the standards of the rest of the hotel.

Average hotel like any courtyard but the 5 star is for the service and customer centric approach. I was really happy with all their team. The only area where they need to do focus is putting more staff at breakfast in the morning when is gets very crowded.

Good spacious rooms and great service. Varun was of great help in managing a special request to celebrate a birthday. Few minor things that can be improved are to provide 24 hour in room dining service, decrease the waiting time if you order food from room.

The breakfast is average and the food served is average . There are better restaurant outside the hotel where food is better . The pool.is comfortable The rooms are very spacious and the room services are great. Even if you park the car right at the entry point which is also a designated parking spot you still have to give your keys to the valet , even if you have parked it on your own and you need to check out early morning.

If you're on a business trip to Gurugram, I highly recommend the Marriott. Simple, the location, the services, not to mention clean and big rooms. Moreover, the food options are plenty too. The only downside is the influx of guests. It gets pretty crowded. That and the limited seating capacity at the restaurant. But hey, that's the thing about good hotels. I'd definitely stay here again!
