Great scenic beauty! The whole experience is worth the money and it will surely stay with you, your entire life. The greenery is so beautiful and you can spot a variety of animals and cute birds. The chances of spotting the tiger is less, but keep an eye out for one! They give binoculars near the entry, at least get one because its easier to spot the animals with clarity that even our phone cameras won't get when zoomed properly. Wear lots of sunscreen and being water!

Jim Corbett National Park is one of the famous wildlife reserves in India and also one of the best wildlife reserves of Asia, covering more than 520 sq km region in the Himalayan foothills as Corbett Tiger Reserve India. Established in the year 1936 as Hailey National Park, Corbett has the glory of being India's oldest and most prestigious National Park. It is also being honored as the place where Project Tiger was first launched in 1973. If you love bird watching then Corbett is virtual haven for such tourists. Corbett and its adjoining area is a home to more than 650 species of residents and migratory birds.

We had several safaris entering through differenet gates and each time we had different animals, birds, flora, and scenery. We went very early in the mornings arriving at dawn. We had been told to wear layers of clothing as it would be very cold to begin and then hot by midday and it was. Our evening safaris also began in the warmth and ended in the cool of the evening at dusk. We just cannot describe all the experiences we had, the deer on the riverbed, the hillside jungle, the various monkeys, the wild elephant herd on the plan, the jungle cat on the road. The beautiful birds, eagles and flowers galore. Our guides described what we were seeing, the habitat and breeding of different animals, we were fortunate to see a tiger after its kill. We saw paw marks claw marks droppings and smelt it and heard it, Loved it. Some jeeps could missed, with being mended as foot steps broken and some guides self opinionated. We were always in a jeep solely for us three so we could ask questions and hear replies. Really enjoyed the time.

An amazing experience of safari in jungle. Nice people and good service. Seeing exotic animals as tigers, is about chance but you will definitely see many deers, alligators, birds etc. Take binoculars with you, wear comfortable footwear as sneakers, better to take less pictures and explore more, respect the jungle.

Corbett Tiger Reserve is an amazing national park. Pros - You get to see tigers, elephants and other amazing animals. Cons - there are no self-drive options. The pros outweigh the Cons for sure. The guides always get you where you want to be and to give you the best chance of seeing wildlife. A thing to keep in mind is that this isn't a zoo so wildlife isn't guaranteed. My advice is to fall in love with birds and the big cats are a real bonus. If you do want to see a big cat patience is key. You will likely need to book multiple safaris. Since, need to be out of the park at certain hours don't be late getting up. Also, you are outside. Bring additional water and sunscreen.

Lovely place to feel the real nature. Main attraction here is the national animal of India, the Tiger. Tiger tracking is an interesting task as it involves lot of suspense, patience, talent and luck. Currently many sightings are there is Dhikala zone due to active cubs in winter of 2020.

Amazing place for tiger sighting. Strongly recommending always go for gypsey safaris. A safari in Canter in dhikala zone is not worth. It was just a long bus tour with less enthusiastic guide. Better book a night stay inside the jungle and do safaris feel the real jungle thrill.

Corbett Tiger Reserve is one of the best place for Wildlife lovers. It is situated in Nainital district, Uttrakhand. It is well connected with Ramnagar, Haldwani. It's a very big Tiger Reserve established in 1936. Dhikala, Bijrani, Garjia, Jhirna, Dhela, Durgadevi, Sonanadi, Sitabani, Mohan etc. entry gates are there. We took three Jypsi safari from Dhela gate towards Jhirna Jypsi Safari Cost approximately Rs.5000-5500/- including Permit, Naturalist cum guide, Jypsi charges. Safari timing for 35 Km approx track in May/June - Morning 5.30 AM to 9.30 AM and in evening 3 PM - 6 PM. Jhirna gate is 25 km away from Ramnagar. Safari starts from Dhela gate. Beautiful landscape, River basin, High bank, Forest Camp, Jhirna Forest guest House are there inside the jungle. Jhirna FRH is the most Wonderful place to stay inside the Corbett Tiger Reserve, Jhirna zone. You can enjoy the nature. You have to pre-book this rest houses otherwise very difficult to get the booking. I have spent few time here during our safari. Washroom, Canteen is there. I am fortunate enough to witness the grand sighting of Three Royal Bengal Tigers, Sambar, Cheetal, Himalayan Langur, Blue- tailed bee eater, Great Hornbill, Paradise Flycatcher, Jungle fowl, Indian Peafowl, Common Kingfisher, Mayna, Woodpecker, and many more. It's a very wonderful experience for me.

The jungle is very good but if you want to see the animals , Sorry. I went to this place in the month of may. My safari timings were 6 AM to 9AM. I didn't see any kind of animals except birds. No doubt the jungle is very good. And when it comes to The Great Tigers that live here , it's extremely rare to see them. My friend has been to this place 20 times in the past 5 years and has never spotted a tiger. So I give 3 stars to the jungle because I didn't spot animals except of course birds.

Picturesque Park, the safari is well planned and adequate time is given inside the premises. It's an open jungle so it's really your lick if you see a tiger or not other than that you will definitely see elephants, deers and wild pigs.

Visited with my adult son for 4 days/5 nights, staying just outside the Reserve. The first day, we went on elephants in search of tigers. Fun, but seemingly useless way to find tigers as elephants make lots of noise and tigers hide very well. Next 3 days, we rented a 4 wheel drive vehicle with a driver/guide and security guy with a rifle. Fascinating! The Reserve is very large and the guide drives from valley to valley, through all sorts of environments, where we saw plenty of wildlife. He tracks tigers by listening to the sounds of the wildlife; monkeys and birds especially have distinctive calls to warn each other if a tiger is nearby. So by listening to and understanding their chatter, one searches for the mighty predator. Out last afternoon, we used this method to find a male and a female tiger calling to one another across a small valley. We followed the “song” of the male and were very lucky to find him resting under a tree singing to his lady-love. Fantastic experience!

(Translated by Google) Great safari experience in India. We did five safaris in three days and in different areas. The truth is that fuimls in winter and the weather, with cold and rain, did not accompany, but we still enjoyed it very much. The tigers escaped, but we saw many animals in freedom; from peacocks to chitals, monkeys or elephants. The only but is that the jeeps are somewhat small in height and if you have to go covered they are a bit uncomfortable. For the rest, the Corbett reserve is exciting.

“A herd of elephants cross the Ramganga in Corbett National Park at daybreak ? While places like Corbett and Rajaji in the North, Kaziranga and Manas in the Notth East and Nagarhole, Periyar and Bandipur in the South are well known destinations to see and photograph elephants in the wild, in October 2018, Bandhavgarh became one of the first national parks in Central India to host a large herd of elephants ?? Research found that the pachyderms came all the way from Odisha, stopping in several places in Chhattisgarh before finding themselves in Madhya Pradesh’s Bandhavgarh National Park. Since then they have grown in numbers and decided to make this park, their home. This shows the immense value our National Parks and Reserves hold for large and small species alike to take a safe refuge in. We must continue to protect and preserve our parks, sanctuaries, reserves and every corridor that connects one with the other.”

Best period to go is between October and March. Good for families. Try the morning period for the Safari. Respect the wildlife and nature. Avoid littering!

First National Park of India. It has very little area open for tourists but you can spot many rare animals there. Usually they allow 30 gypsies in the morning time and 30 gypsies in the evening time. You have to book it in advance. Morning time is usually considered good for animal spotting. They all go to the different ways inside the forest. At the time we went one of the gypsies spotted a tiger?. We were not lucky.
