Worst hospital, pathetic management, and systems, I think a roadside clinic is probably better managed than this hospital. I went to cardiology section with my mother in law that too with a special appointment (n reference) n i have to wait for 6 hrs before I could see the doctor. This is critical care section.... N i can only imagine what would have been the scene in normal opd. Doctors here are so careless n arrogant you pay for a specialist who just leaves just like that for having lunch n don't come back n some junior doctor who probably would have been charging half the amount sees you ..n that too in such a laggard manner probably a govt hospital doctor would have been more efficient... Useless place n people... Surely i am not going back.. n wouldn't recommend it ever to even worst of my enemy... Option is not there or else I have given negative stars to them... No staff in or ard washrooms.. you find waste littering the washrooms... All in all very very shabbily managed hospital. -ve10 marks to hospital n facility administration....

Only top doctors are good, management is worse. No social distance or other care for COVID. Very crowded. Without such few top doctors medanta is nothing. Very worse staff organization I guess who is responsible for the management of Hospital where not only staff but Some doctors are even rude with patients as well. Good job with marketing.

THE DOCTOR WAS 4 HOURS LATE AND ASKED US TO CANCEL THE APPOINTMENT! MISMANAGEMENT AND RUDE DOCTOR! I wish I could give 0/5. My mother and I had the worst experience here at Medanta, Gurgaon! My mother has osteoarthritis, and she wanted to seek some advice on the same. We got an appointment from Medanta hospital a day prior (16th June) . It was scheduled at 11:30 A.M on 17th June/2022 to see Vipin Chand Tyagi, of Orthopaedic and Muscoloskeletal Disorders. We reached well on time, and went through the formalities when the nurse/attendant at the Report counter told us to wait "10-15 minutes as the doctor was in the OT". So we waited, but we ended up waiting from 11:20 A.M to sometime around 2:00 P.M in the afternoon!! We were being very patient and there was no sign of this Dr Tyagi. The only thing we knew was that he was in OT. FOR almost 4 HOURS?! The attendants were also dumb. My mother called at the contact number given to us by the attendants. Tyagi picked it up and did not give any explanation for him being late. He was rude to my mother and said he'll be coming at 2:30 only! My mother asked him why the appointment was given at 11 am then? To which he said that she was arguing with him?! And that she should CANECL her appointment with him, and this is me quoting him- HE SAID-"I WILL NOT SEE YOU" to my mother. This attitude from his side is highly discouraging! Especially when we were waiting for him for 4 hours?! Instead of taking accountability for wasting our time, he asked us to leave and remove our appointment? We ended up getting to Max Hospital, as we should have in the first place! This is humiliating! Worst experience could have imagined! Not going back!

The review is for the facilities that they provide. I agree that they charge premium but then you can expect same treatment as well. Top doctors are legends in their respective department and if you are being treated by them then it's the best thing. Nurse and staff is courteous but you always get sone arrogant staff here and there might be because the hospital is over burden and huge footfall. Food is costly and they sell medicines at MRP no discount given.

It's a good hospital because of Doctor's only. Doctor's are really good and cooperative. But that helps only the patient. What about attendants and Bill settlement. I will simply say pathetic. So system of taking final payment. Everybody has a high attitude as if attendants are good for nothing or liability to them. Cash counter toh behaviour silently is like "ABB TUM KAHAN JAONGE. HUMKO TOH JHELNA PADEGA." Nobody has any information or say correct information. Cashier like Dipak knowing very well that he will not take payment of cash paying patient keeps attendants on wait and latter when it's noticed by attendants and they approach cash counter then the file is extracted foe payments. Food area toh is like "YA TOH BHUKE RAHO YA PHIR HUM JO KARDE DE DEY WOH KHA LO" Parking area is like "HARI HOSPITAL KE PARKING MAIN GADI LAYE HO TOH PAISE DE KE JAO. UPAR JO PAYMENT KIYA WOH TOH DOCTOR HOSPITAL KA THA. HOSPITAL PARKING TODI HI DETA HAIN APNEY PATIENT YA UNKE ATTENDENT KE LIYE." HOPE THIS GOES TO NOTICE OF SOME MEDANTA TEAM MEMBER WHO IS WILLING TO CORRECT SUCH THINGS Before leaving hospital had to visit Pharmacy. Behaviour of Harish really pathetic. Medicine nahi hain ji. On asking Alternate kya hain doctor se puch lijiye. Nahi nahi aap jao aur pata kar ke aao. We cannot help. It seems nobody has any sympathy empathy towards patients or attendants. Was never expected from such a big brand. But Doctor's and Nurse really helpful. But a multispeciality hospital is much above Only treatment. But admitted patient find a lot difficulty with the poor quality food. Which in general nobody would if not hungry. But no choice at all. Food or service really removing choice for your preference. Like with my experience 3years back I already decided to change MEDANTA from my 1st preference list. The way discharge is effected as if they don't know about Delhi or NCR areas, since any discharged patient has to travel on an average 2hours to reach home and your discharge team already consumes the most of the time. Imagine your family member discharged by doctor at 9:45am and discharge team completes discharge formality after 2:30pm and how much the attended had to go through in this period. Just think. You are in the world's most noble profession. You are termed as next to GOD and GOD always loves its humans and beings. Strange but true. Your telephone department takes calls. Takes multiple minute details and results are just zero. The problem is neither resolved nor the concerned department is connected. Lastly you reach hospital and get the solution, again by requesting counter to counter. You are a big hospital people come to you for relief of pain and agony and this is not expected in anywhere in the world. Your little compassionate touch and interaction can make a lot of difference in family which is already suffering and with you. Your Mr. Arjun at counter no 1 at 3rd floor is like give payment give payment but for what purpose he doesnot know or want to listen or understand. After repeated explaining he found details and then sorted. Not willing to cooperate. Your counter or room no. 6 at ground floor told us that, for insurance claims form signature, after signing three pages he told ab aap log apne aap sign kar lena and didn't stamp sign further pages. What type of reply or behaviour unable to understand. Meditronics people for heart pace maker real *****. They will keep patient Waiting outside for hours and reason being they are never in the room for check up. After implant they will not issue certificate of implant (15days minimum it takes as per them) whereas doctors give fit to fly confirmation in 7 to 8 days. When you talk to people like Mr. Pramal Kumar. After 3 to 4 follow up he responds and they says I am giving in 2 minutes / 3minutes. Oh I came out side like after four such ******* replies then at last he says abhi toh 3/4 din lagega. On asking but u were saying giving in 2minutes now days why and reply is like "Yes, toh kya. Nahi de sakta." Is this way Medanta treats. Poor and pathetic

Not elligible for any star but there is no other option.Worst experience. Patient admitted for heart valve transplant under a world renowned heart surgeon but on the seventh day his junior informed that the world renowned surgeon found himself unable to do the surgery which he himself advised after all required tests. The most important review is that that surgeon never visited to patient any day after her admission. People should take other options instead of running behind the name of this surgeon. I know that my review will not give any impact on his business but making people aware is important. Futher, they rose the cost more than three times compared to estimate given by themselves. On cross check from other hospital, the cost is less than half as charged in this hospital. Today is planned discharge day and now it is 11.10 PM still waiting in hospital to go home.

Not a suitable hospital for ECHS card holders, they're harassing them by sending themselves to Polyclinic,RRR and base hospital for referral whereas according to policy it is their duty, while other hospital's representatives are doing the same for their patients. Medicity's ECHS dealing staff(mr. Parkash Joshi)is such a rude & stupid person yesterday he said why u(ECHS/CGHS) come to this hospital go to RRR/polyclinic & other hospitals. Moreover if you tell them at the time of admission that you are a card holder(echs/cghs)then there is no bed available for your patient(they will let you wait for 2-3 hours). They will always charge you even if your procedure/implant/treatment is covered in listed/approved by Echs/Cghs by saying we have used better machine(Ballon pump), disposable/consumable items. They even didn't care about your patient even in ICU from saturday night to till monday morning, your patient keep on request for help they don't bother to take your patient to toilet(my father and 2 roommate have experienced it last saturday/sunday). Nowadays they don't even have any pre & post operation counselling only at time of discharge they will brief you something. Nobody will exactly tell us your patient's condition, how they are treating him/her,what kind of medication, how his/her progress is going. I have complained to a senior doctor but to no effect. Moreover, nobody cares about our feedback either online or offline.

Extremely tough to review something that has saved you* ( in-depth review ) - your journey will start from the ambulance which is extremely expensive and can cost you over 10,000 if from Delhi. - Outside gurgaon medanta ambulance don’t go and so there are third party ambulance which are approved by medanta. - The ambulance staff was knowledgeable but at the same time not very efficient. - One more thing about the ambulance even if u have booked from medanta is that they are no well coordinated. ( once the ambulance arrives it is again your duty to inform them all the details and shift the patient. I highly believe this should be internal task as you have booked ambulance directly from the hospital and there should be no delay ) - after getting admitted be prepared to do bundle of paper work and be prepared to welcome yourself to a world where doctors are preached. - now your journey will be visiting your patient in the icu where u will go to third basement everyday for next couple of days. - get seasonal parking which is a big scam as they promote it’s by days but in actual it’s by time. - so I would recommend for getting a parking membership as one time parking charge is 50inr. - After parking you will take elevator where you will be frisk checked by the guards. - After that you will get checked again by extremely rude security staff who is ignorant about the fact that your patient is being treated and you are going through emotional turmoil and they will not bother to deescalate the situation at any cost. - now at this icu stop you will be asked to show your card which is of security deposit of 100inr and loss of this card will require doctors letter for regeneration of the card - after taking the crowded elevator during COVID you will be again asked by another security guard where u wanna go and again be invigilated. - Finally after that you will be able to enter the icu where the authorized time is 15 minutes to meet your patient after driving for hour and then wasting your time in their stupid frisk and check with parking which will take 20 minutes easily. - after all that you will get 15 minutes to meet your patient which will highly depend on the mood of the security guard who is on duty if he is feeling good he will let you stay for over 50-80 minutes - the doctor will inform you about the treatment in that 15 minutes and the duty doctor will have completely different version then the doctor whom you meet yesterday. - the staff rotation is a big thing in medanta which needs to be considered as it depends on their mood instead of their duty to which they are bound be it security guard or doctor. - some doctor will say positive rest will just crush you and at the end of the day they will be rotated and you will not see them again and there is just one head doctor whom you will never be able to meet and if luckily u do they are the best to guide. - food quality is average but it doesn’t come free of cost and an egg boiled can cost you over 40 inr - it’s going to be a financial roller coaster and for each water bottle you are charged be prepared - irony is the same thing for which your patient is admitted the same thing they wish upon you as their food court enjoys kfc to Pizza Hut with decent option of vango. - the head doctors are good enough as they enjoy rich resources of the hospital and without any doubt medanta is best currently but not to forget there are no other options and amongst recent competition it’s the best. - Head doctors are preached and until you are not minister or somebody relevant you are not going to get special attention. - the major issue is that they are not fair or transparent each and every report is not given so easily. - security staff needs de escalation training, rotation of staff needs to be given a thought. - nurses need more training and each department needs more coordination among themselves. - I hope this review will help you. The doctors are highly equipped with resources in this hospital and they make miracle happen. Stay strong! Pray it helps ❤️

Located within the cyberhub complex which is accessible by all. Adequate parking available. Staff at reception desk and billing personnel are very receptive and well mannered. Technicians are adequately skilled and they know their job well. All the tests are done in the ground floor and patients need not move between floors for various tests. Doctors available for consultation are good. Cleanliness and hygiene within the lab is excellent. Overall a nice experience and worth visiting for health check.

Need to respect the patient's time, entire Covid testing team went on lunch, wasting our 1 hr as there was no one to perform the test. Plus, the nursing staff is unprofessional and unskilled as they were unable to fix leakage around the bandage. This is fixed in another hospital. HIGHLY NON-RECOMMENDED HOSPITAL. Go, if one has a lot of money to waste.

You are greeted at admittance at Medanta in this manner. We were greeted in a room that was disorganized and still had the clothes of former patients on the sofa after 4 hours of waiting. Poorly behaved staff at the IPD admissions counter, keeping patients & attendants confused about room status. The hospital is having terrible housekeeping & spoiled food in the patients' room.

I would like to pen down my experience at Medanta, The Medicity Gurgaon as a COVID-19 patient from 3rd September to 8th September 2020. This is a note to express my heartfelt gratitude towards the entire team of Medanta. The doctors, nurses, staff and everybody else involved in my care were highly skilled and efficient. Dr. Praveen Chandra, Dr Deepak Govil, Dr Vikas Deshwal and Dr. Nandeesh made sure of the impeccable care I received here and for that I am extremely grateful to them. The nursing staff and the housekeeping staff is absolutely brilliant. Starting from cleanliness to the patient’s personal care, they did a wonderful job. Their attitude is extremely empathetic and care customised to individual patient. Not once I felt stigmatised for coronavirus. As a doctor myself, I have always felt that the level of nursing care can have a tremendous effect on the outcome of the disease. I would again like to thank everyone involved in my care here. I hope the team at Medanta continues to provide this standard of care to its patients.

Hospital-Doctors and nurses here are good but the Guards should have some kind of Ethics, I don’t know why this guards are so rude..most worst experience with this two guard. Attendent are unlucky if this two person are on duty. Feeling pity for the patient plus attendent. I respect their rules and regulations but it should b applied equally for all. We spend lakhs n lakhs of Rs here and we expect some welcoming attitude from everyone. Totally upset with this two guard behavior…! or else everything is good here. Only this two guards. Would have given 5 star but because of this two guards..1star

I don't wish to give a single star waiting from more than four hours for admission to get a room but still waiting here now don't know further experience of two days stay here buy definitely will submit the two days stay details and review too I have a question if rooms are not available then why a patient is called for admission process? Sitting for hours and waiting for a call and room availability is sheer waste of time and inconvenience to the patient too. My wife selected this hospital for her treatment just because she thought she will get five star hospital treatment just because of the package we opted for but I would not suggest anyone just because of this mismanagement of hospital also observed International patients are given first priority and assistance but hello though we are Indian we should be treated first as we are also paying same what NRI are paying for treatment.

Due to negligence and contradictory opinions of two doctors, we had to readmit our patient and faced inconvenience and discomfort. The communication is poor and there is a level of uncertainty and randomness always. Even after the second time discharge the condition of the patient is not satisfactory. Doctors also need to be trained on their behaviour and communication skills. A doctor can not look clueless and behave rudely. On call assistance is also poor. People who pick calls do not listen to the problem and have a default response of calling the patient to OPD, every time. They are not even concern about the condition of the patient.

Best hospital for critical patients. Administration,Billing and other in patient facilities are bit slow due to high volume of patients. Please be very sure of taking appointment before coming, appointments are must for doctor's consultation and radiology tests. It can be taken telephonically by contacting at hospital toll free number. Also only one attendant is allowed with patient due to COVID-19 and administration and doctors are very particular with this.

(Translated by Google) One of the best hospitals in India is located in Delhi. Multidisciplinary medical. The staff of doctors and consultants is highly qualified. The place is clean and the service is excellent. The nature of eating inside the hypnosis rooms is not suitable for some sick from outside India, but there are alternatives so that the service of delivering meals inside the rooms of the hospital is available. There are also international restaurants within the hospital, such as Costa, Pizza Hut and many more (Original)

It was sad to see the staff shouting at elderly people to set order. The systems and ways of functioning before Covid need to be revisited and set accordingly. The patients coming cant be blamed for anxiety specially the Elderly folk. Found Mr Panchdev Shukla specially running the Show like his personal Dharamshala. Otherwise the Drs there are Great. Hope someone reads this and sets things in order.

Very clean. Good OPD services. But expensive. Also you can encounter some doctor with unclear answers to your disease questions.

Very neat place. We went there to donate blood and the management was good that we don't have to wait for too long. Quite expensive though but is a good hospital.

Worst experience we went there for my grandmother treatment she have ECHS card along with referral from ECHS Polyclinic but they charge money She had abdominal pain from few days but they refuse to treat her in emergency . They ask money and blaming us for coming in Medanta. I said to them please provide bills of my payment mentioning that u doesn’t accept ECHS but they reject and said we can’t admit any patient on ECHS we doesn’t have bed vacants. I ask them to provide all that in written form not orally but they refuse . And in front of me they provide other patient bed on same ward because he gave them money and we have ECHS . As a ARMY personnel I urge everyone in defence to file a case against them . They doesn’t treat an Army personnel whether he/she is in critical they only need money .

My father went through a Bypass surgery, everything went smoothly. All the doctors and support team are highly trained. He was in private ward 5806, the room service and post operation care was good. Overall the experience was good.

All staff attitude including senior and junior Doctors is just like they are head and patient are labour. They are starts grabbing money without watching patients i.e. lots of reports which may avoided. All charges of hospital test and fee are just more than double. While entering hospital first they will see your pocket…

Cghs patients find difficulty of getting appointment. They are usually deliberately given very far date and told that no slot is available, hence forced to pay full payment for consultation to get early appointment. This is every time i faced with most of doctors. Service of medanta is world class but getting early appointment is headache.

World class Doctors, clean rooms, polite and very helpful staff . Sometime staff is in hurry and makes mess of the room by throwing waste on the floor and not in the bin. Overall Good experience. Been coming here for past 10 years. Hasn’t changed much in terms of service. Didnot like the options given in food court. Way too expensive and not worth your money. Opt for food stalls outside the hospital. If you want to save someone ‘s life, this can be your last hope. They saved my father twice. Highly Recommended.

Services are poor, I visited hospital on 9th Feb and doctor advised some tested. I get all the tested done and wanted to visit the doctor with all reports so I have taken appointment over call and they have given the appointment of 11.30 AM on 11th Feb. When I went to hospital I found that Doctor is not available and they told me to come at 2 pm. When I again went at 2 pm they told me that doctor will be available at 3.30 pm so you have to wait. I waited there till 4.30 but Doctor was still not available. We go to private hospital so that we do not have to face such issues like we face in govt. hospital but if we face such issue in private hospitals too after paying such higher fees then what is the use to go there.

Amongst the better hospitals in gurgaon. Services people from around the world. Don't be surprised if you find Arabs and African nationals visiting the facility. Overcrowded for sure and long waits. Doctors do get frustrated and chances are that they wont remember you, but if you remember the pressure they are in, you might sympathize.

We had a good experience at the hospital. Our doctors were available when we needed to see them. They were also very thorough with their reviews. We visited the nephrology and urology departments, PAC, Radiology, Sample collection, day care and pharmacy and we met very good staffs. The team at the international department were very helpful. I would recommend they improve on infection prevention by having hand washing units including the food street, enough sanitizers everywhere especially in the lifts and waiting bay and to use ticketing system to control patient flow considering the number of people who visit the facility on a daily basis. It was also saddening to see people smoke within the hospital compound, I think the management needs to be strict on the same. Overall it is easily accessible with modern infrastructure and from our experience they seemed well staffed.

Good hospital in terms of Blood Donation facilities. Staff is friendly, quick and supporting. Blood donation was done within 30minutes (form filling 5 min, 5min check-up, 10min actual Blood donation, 10min waiting). I went to donate blood hence, providing review on that section only.
