A haven for cyclists and cycling!!! The route is properly tarred . It's 30 km one side from dwarka . The canal runs across the road the whole time . This ensures that cool breeze is blowing throughout your journey . At the 30th km the drain converts into a pure river where u can see people catching fish !!

Hey! This place can give you the best time of your weekend. I've been here several times and I suggest you going there by cycle or a 2 wheeler at the time of sun rise before monsoon and once after it rains heavily in delhi. There's a turning point of the canal or the curve where you could capture the sunrise with the lake and I'm hesitating while writing this beacuse my words do not describe the feelings that occurred when I witnessed it. To be taken here: Vehicle documents, water, unusual snacks- something so tasty, Decent camera and some silence.

The place is good, you can visit there with group. But please don't spoil the beauty of the place. Last time we visited we cleaned the place.

It's a very beautiful meet point specially for cyclist who ride in Delhi/NCR.. The area has very little traffic and has a decent road for cycling. So many migratory birds are here specially in winters.

Just amazing 😯. We rode here and found all, for what we want that weekend. Nothing is beautiful than nature and no song can give us pleasure like nature sounds. We enjoyed the ride very much on this route also from Delhi. We saw the beautiful peacocks, flamingos and also the city aerial view from lakeside. I love this place very much.

Great place to bike to. The road leading up to this point from Dwarka following the canal is really beautiful. Wonderful scenery and lots of birds. During the monsoon the ride paddies are bright green and line up the opposite side of the road. Well worth a visit from with Gurgaon or Delhi

Najafgarh lake it is the starting point of najafgarh drain It is a low lying area water from rainfall accumulate here It is very scenic and green Although approach road is quite narrow Migratory birds come here from far away Water table in nearby villages is also quite high due to this drain It is a nice place to visit for bird watchers

Najafgarh Lake is a wonderful place for Bird Watchers. Best time to visit is middle of January when there are many species from around the world.

Lake is really superb.. But not safe as it formed due to illegal mining so is very very deep that too a sudden slope of many 100s feet. Also not safe to go in alone or small group, always go during early morning hours and in group size of 15-20+ local do trouble and few robbery incidents heard as well.

Place is good nd adeventures but so horrible dont dare to swim in lake it's too deep if anyone want to go please take a local guide or swimmer... Lake looks beautiful but it's very risky so go on your risk

Nice place to cycle to from Dwarka(50-60km round trip). Smooth road with nice view of canal on one side and fields on the other.

Awesome and beautiful place for adventure in the morning and day time only. But not the safest place for single or two or three peoples if you want to go there, always go with your groups. And highly recommend that not to go in the lake or not to bath over there its really harmful due to deepest water level of lake. 5 star rating only for its nature and beauty. Otherwise it's very dangerous due to predators and many others dangerous animals.

It's hardly a lake, more like a canal, spreading out to a large wetland at one end. But lots of greenery, a lovely drive and good birding opportunities.

I want to visit again eversince i have visited the site on bycycle. Lake is not that good but the road to dhansa is realy green and open. Loved the way.

Its a waoh place in the outskirts of Delhi to go for a weekend ride with friends. The road is however a narrow one. So need to be cautious while riding. And also grab ur DSLR to capture the pics of some birds.

This isnt najafgarh lake...this is approximately 5000 acres of land which belongs to the farmers of nearby villages which they are not able to cultivate due to negligence of Haryana government because the govt fails to make proper channel for the waste drain. The water that is filled there is all waste sewage water which is not only polluting the environment but has also made the land barren under it.

Cycling Track is Very Good but try to visit here early Morning bcoz returning journey may be quiet tough bcoz roads are directly affected by Sun. There is nothing like Lake only small barage type. But lots of people come here. No Shop and Any village is situated at this place so one should carry food items and water. No water available here nearby. After reading about this place Internet, I was much excited but after reaching here did not find anything like as I expected. Pls carry Food, Water and Puncture Kit as well as tools.

It is place of peace where no one disturb you but it is quite dangerous .There are very sharp stones and water is so deep die to which it's another name is "death valley"
