I went to this amazing restaurant few days back with my friends. Talking about the space and area, it is pretty good with such a soft soothing music. We ordered veg platter, non veg platter , mocktails, dal makhni , butter chicken and roti. Everything was scrumptious and mouth watering. Really loved it. Would love to visit the place again.

Well officially they are the investors of butter chicken and dal makhani recipes. So I thought of trying, i ordered butter chicken, paneer, and naans and below is my review 👉 The butter chicken was really awesome. The taste is not sweet like other restraunts but it was perfect blend of spices and taste. The quantity is sufficient for 2 people 👉 Must try their hari mirch and laal mirch paratha they make best combination with butter chicken. 👉 Panner was also really good. Not very spicy not very sweet, served hot. I liked the taste. Overall a recommended place 👌 must try their butter chicken with laal/hari mirch paratha

In the quest for the best butter chicken we ended up lunching at Daryaganj. We started off with the Taazgi drink along with Dahi Kebabs that followed, the kebabs were so succulent and soft, they practically melted in the mouth. A great option for vegetarians. For main course, we settled for Chicken Biryani, Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan. Need I say more for the Butter Chicken? Its their specialty for a reason! The biryani was aromatic and flavourful! High recommend Daryaganj for your lunch or dinner meals.

Their Butter Chicken is exaggerated, chicken pieces were haphazardly cut. Chicken pieces were too dry. Cocktails were extremely good. Food wasn't heavy on the stomach. Cool ambience is perfect for a casual dining.

I have been a fan of this chain and had visited two of there other outlets in Delhi. This one was on my list from long. As you move into this restaurant you get very soothing vibes. The interior of the place is very classy and retro style. On recommendation of our server Raman who was very thorough with all the items in the menu we tried the mint lemonade and believe me it was the best lemonade i have ever had. In starters we opted for the veg platter. It was absolutely fabulous. The kurkure mushroom in it were very tasty and so was the chedder chesse filled panner tikka. In main course we had the mutton rogan josh and butter paneer which were both very tasty. The butter paneer is there signature dish. Finally in dessert we had the kulfi faaluda which was just soooo amazinggg it reminded me of my childhood. It is a very worthy place to visit.

The ambiance here is great. Their playlist I think is one of the best I have heard in a dining restaurant you'll love it. The food is delicious and you will definitely love it I tried the original butter chicken, butter paneer, dal makhni and some starters. They were great. The service is a bit slow but they informed me prior to that it will take time. They have good beverage options ranging from alcoholic to non alcoholic options as well. Overall it's great place with some great ambiance a little bit in the expensive side but for me it was worth it.

The Original 1947 butter chicken is amazing and worth trying. The only thing, they need to work on is the quality of naans. I have been there a couple of times and was disappointed on both occasions as the Naans doesn’t match to their reputation. They are hard and felt like rubber. Please work on it. I will surely visit again because of the butter chicken and would expect to see this turnaround.

Visited this restaurant recently and I had already heard rave food reviews about it, so wanted to explore what culinary experience they provide and I must say I was unreservedly impressed! I ordered mostly appetisers- Dahi ke kabab, tandoori mushroom along with laung gwacha and virgin mojito. Both the food items were delicious especially dahi kabab which were the softest I ever tasted in so many of my dining experiences! The drinks were great as well. I also had the paan kulfi which was delectable- less on sugar and more on taste! I was short on time, sadly, otherwise I would have definitely tried the main course too however it remains on my itinerary for next time! A much recommended place for sure!!

I wanted to try their Original Butter chicken and it was delicious. It will be slightly different as they explain in their menu with more butter and bones but if you don’t like that you can choose the current day version. It was really busy but despite that the staff was really helpful and attending. The virgin mojito was very refreshing so I ordered a second one.

Today I visited to him authentic restaurant in noida and tried full course meal .we started from starters included chicken pakoras and tandoori chicken then main course included butter chicken and mutton keema kaleji and end up on Raabdi faaluda . Everything was super delicious and very authentic in taste .It reminds me the taste of old Delhi .staff was very polite ,gentle and taking care of hygiene properly.love the food and ambiance . Highly recommend…..

I was craving to have best butter chicken and mutton biryani so went to Daryaganj for it's best remarks, but the experience was very worst which I didn't expect, The original butter chicken was tasteless and bland secondly I had a high expectation over Mutton Biryani which was a disaster completely bad,instantly prepared with old mutton pieces added in it which was hard and all dark as cooked multiple times .Just the worst Experience by charging so high and giving this unforgettable note .👎 The best part I liked was just the packing.

Had a good dining experience at Daryaganj with family. It has a decent menu serving you authentic North Indian Food. The ambience and vibe of this restaurant is soothing. Music being played here is really apt. Staff and service is nice. We tried their dahi kabab, the original butter panner, soya bhuna keema, khasta roti, laal mirch parantha, garlic naan, gulab jamun, paan kulfi and phirni. Dahi kabab, Butter paneer and khasta roti is a must try for vegetarians. Soya keema was a bit oily otherwise good in taste, nothing great about the kulfi and Phirni would have been better with addition of dry fruits. Recommended for good time with family and friends having some delicious North Indian dishes.

I have frequently visited this establishment on multiple occasions, and I am pleased to note the exceptional consistency in the flavors of their original butter chicken and dal. Moreover, I am compelled to commend Rahul and Ahmad for their exemplary service, which truly enhanced the overall dining experience.

In Daryaganj Dal Makhani is all time favorite and I tried Charrey aloo for the first time and it was also good. We had Hara bhara kabab and it was mouth melting had one of the best this time. Drinks were normal, we tried Lemon Iced tea and sweet Lassi both were normally served means presentation was normal, taste wise it was also normal.

The vibes that you get in this place are amazing. Everything there exudes a kind of authenticity. We tried Dal Makhni, Original Butter Chicken, Original Butter Paneer. The Dal Makhni did not taste like something that we never had. But the butter dishes were out of the world. I can safely say that we never had something that tasted so great. The cocktails were good. I hope they open branches in other cities so that ppl living in other parts of India do get to taste these dishes.

Had a great time at Daryaganj a few days ago, my experience here was so good. I was craving for some really nice authentic North Indian Food for sometime now and decided to visit this place to spend my Sunday with my friends. The ambience of this place is great, it has a cool Indian vibe that attracts the eyes and the service is super amazing, the staff is so nice, loved their helping nature. Food here is just superb, I'm a non vegetarian lover so I would recommend Tandoori Gola Kebab, Chicken Pakora and their Butter Chicken for sure. I would love to go here again sometime soon.

Poor service! The staff don’t even care to serve you properly. They take your order and forget. They even don’t provide you good food. It’s a total waste of money. Ambience is fine!

Best North Indian Dining experience. Courteous servers, great ambience with the music adding the perfect vibe for a wonderful experience. Their special Dal Makhani and Paneer is not to be missed. The breads are amazing and their offer to conveniently re heat them is just a bonanza. Had kulfi in dessert, it's the best around, i am sure.

What an awesome lunch. Secrets of 1946 Box is what we orders today’s be is totally value for money. Chicken tikka, so soft mutton burrah, awesome butter Christin and mutton curry. Dal was nothing so great about. Breads and dessert everything was just perfect. Packaging was awesome and I shall keep ordering this over a get together

If you are in Delhi-NCR and havnt tried Daryaganj. You are seriously missing out on food that is absolutely out of the world. There’s is a very well researched menu where wvery dish is thoughtfully crafted and that absolutely reflects in the presentation and taste. My recommendations for the place will be - Fish tikka , it was so tender from inside and perfectly marinated and was juicy too. - Tandoori Chicken, the leg pieces were so juicy and roasted ( have a look at the picture) - Mutton curry , which we took on our servers recommendation along with roomai rotis and that also was a hit ( very soothing) - Gulab jamun , they were intense from inside and had the perfect texture Overall it is an absolute MUST VISIT !

Loved the butter chicken. The starters/kebabs were delicious. Dahi kebab were my favourite. The breads were a little dry and lachcha paratha wasn’t very layered. The desserts included rasmalai and kulfi , 100% recommend.

You just can't leave this place without a smile & heavy tummy ! Just delicious ! Have been to all of their outlets. And this specific one is new. In snacks, you cannot miss their paneer tikka which is stuffed with cheddar cheese. Really good ! Also, their tandoori fruit chaat is a must try. In mains , dal makhani and butter chicken is must here since they are the inventors of both the dishes. Its not a dish here. Its their legacy. This time, i tried rarha soya keema and veg biryani and the combination turned out really really good. Loved it. In dessert, their bailey's kulfi is worth a try. Unique flavour and tasted so good. I just can't thank enough to daryaganj for serving so good food. Love my experience every single time.

The non-veg platter was delicious, relished the taste of the tandoori chicken with the green chutney, the mutton served in this platter was so tender, juicy and flavoursome. Loved the food, tried butter chicken without butter & cream for the first time as it was here I learnt that the original butter chicken recipe did not have any cream and was mostly prepared in tomato gravy and with bones. The butter naan was soft and complimented the butter chicken and daal makhani 🤤

What i expected was not up to that mark. Service was too poor it took 30-35 min to get the main course meal. we ordered authentic butter chicken: Blend of spices was good but it was not up to that mark the hype they have created for butter chicken. dal makhni: it was good malai kofta : too sweet naan: some naans where not properly cooked. (kache the side se) ambience: ambience was good.

Straight away to what they claim to have invented: Dal Makhani- It's like the Daal Makhni you will get in any other North Indian restaurant. Very basic and average. The quantity is enough for two. Butter Chicken- Below average. Gravy of the dish was very good and different but when it comes to chicken, it was BAD. Half cooked, dry and bland in taste. It was not tasty as they boast. Although the quantity was enough for two. I also ordered- Tomato Coriander Shorba - 4 out of 5 Khasta Naan - 5/5 Missi Roti - 4/5 Cheese Naan - 5/5 As I reserved the table through Dineout app on a Saturday, so I got a Daryaganj Kulfi complimentary (very average tasting). At last they served Saunf and sugar crystals in a small sized box. Service - Average. Nobody described the dishes or about the place. Menu was seved after 15 minutes and they forgot to take my order until called for. This was when the occupancy was 50% due to lockdown restrictions. Price - With the above dishes I was charged Rs. 1700. I paid through Dineout so got extra 10% through Dineout Pay. Overall decently priced. It was a hyped one time visit. Not worthy of next visit until they improve their taste and services.
