I dropped my very precious wedding ring off at Helzberg for some much needed maintenance. In the last 20 years I NEVER trusted anyone enough to leave it overnight anywhere and surely not for 2 weeks! My ring is over 20 years old, so imagine all the work it needed. I have to say, I was impressed with Ilsa- (the associate who sat with me while I was nearly in tears, viewing my destroyed ring under the scope). She reassured me I was leaving it in good hands, and promised me it would look brand new upon picking it up. I have to say I am impressed with the Jeweler Joe...My ring looks STUNNING again. He did a beautiful job. What great customer service. I will not hesitate to leave it again. I would also like to give a shout out to Ilsa for sharing with me the appraisers on site every few months. That makes it easier knowing I don't to send it out for an updated estimate. Thanks again!

My son and I needed help purchasing a chain and we received some of the greatest service ever courtesy of Ilsa & the entire staff. I would give them 10 stars if that were an option. Knowledge of product, patience with choosing things, selection, value and price, everything exceeded my expectations and my son is thrilled with his new chain! Thank you again Ilsa!

Amazing experience with Ashley and Joe! We went in to look at rings and Ashley helped us pick out a BEAUTIFUL diamond and setting. We were able to open an account with them and have 0% interest too!!! The stone was set and sized incredibly fast. When we picked it up it fit perfectly and looked amazing! I hear Joe in the back did the quality work. Great warranty for an affordable price to protect my ring forever! I'll see you all in 6 months for my inspection. Thank you both!

Nothing but great things to say about Illsa and the service she provided me. Before I came into the store, we discussed my budget and the ring I wanted to purchase for my future wife. She absolutely knocked it out of the park! When I arrived, she had 2 rings that were perfect! She is very knowledgeable, not pushy and a pleasure to work with! THANK YOU! I went in to get my wedding ring cleaned for the first time in 4 years. It looks brand new again! One of the managers (I think her name was Ronda) was super nice and even helped me find something to get my husband for Father’s Day.

5/5 would recommend. Brandon (the manager) genuinely seems to care. Samantha really listened to what we wanted, and Brenda was there through many phone calls to get the perfect stone/setting for us! We went to the "you and me" event originally and even won a $2500 gift card! If you ever get a chance to go to one of their events, go. They won't push you into a ring you do want and respect the budget 🙂

Brandon Fletcher was amazing. My wedding ring will be fixed for free with my lifetime plan and I bought a beautiful tanzinite ring on clearance to honor my grandmother who's birthday was in Oct!

The most wonderful women work here! Personable and energetic. They make you feel so comfortable. I went to get my engagement ring and wedding band resized. They even let me have a spacer for my engagement ring so I could wear it for a few days while I told family and friends so it would fit me better. Such a fantastic experience. Professionalism and care.

The people at Helzberg Diamonds in Gurnee did an amazing job. I purchased an engagement ring and they helped me to design it and have it shipped to the store, where I picked it up. Brandon, Brenda, and Ilsa were all amazing to work with: each very personable and professsional. They talked me through the entire process and helped me to know exactly what I was ordering before I purchased. There was a delay in my ring arriving, but I did order it during the busy season. Overall, I highly recommend this place for the customer-focused experience. We love the ring and are happy to have such friendly people to return to in the future. :)

Brenda was very helpful throughout the whole process. Showed up Monday to look at the merchandise talked about their process and reserved the ring and stone and left to look at other jewelers. Needless to say, we came back to Helzberg Jeweler’s. Sincerely grateful, Tom & Debra Pfleeger

I buy all of my wife’s jewelry from Helzberg! Beautiful store, great selection of merchandise, easy payment plans, plus the staff is very friendly and helpful! Love that they have a jeweler on site for repairs and alterations. I will definitely be coming back!

Frank and I received excellent service from Brenda when we were looking for rings. She went out of her way to understand what I was looking for in a unique ring setting. She brought out stones to place in the setting to see which one we liked better. Anyone looking for personal service needs to ask for her.
