If I could give the store manager a 0 stars for her ridiculously rude behavior today I would. It pays to read reviews and had I read them before taking my son here to get his ears pierced, I would have surely not wasted my time. The manager, Xeanne, was bothered each time I asked a questions of her. Whenever she’d respond it was with a smart comment. Her tone was quite ugly. When I told her that she was being rude, she refused service lol. Do NOT waste your time here. Go just outside the door to Banter By Piercing Pagoda. The gals here are awesome!

Alexander pierced my daughter's ears for her 14th bday and did such an amazing job. He was not only super friendly, but extremely knowledgeable as well. Such a great experience, and my daughter's ears look so cute!

Young woman piercing ears was very patient, kind, and practiced very good hygiene. I'm still deciding if I like the placement of the piercings, and after 5 days they are extremely painful.

The employees that worked on 1/24/2021 are horrible! So, disrespectful, and rude. The male employee was acting like a complete jerk to me and my daughters, The female employee was not any better. They greet you with rolling eyes and hot breaths. They dont look at you at all. The male employee snapped at me telling me they dont peirce ears there. When clearly they do .. They have signs all over the store advertising it.. I have never left a store so mad! They need to hire new people immediately!

We had a great ear piercing experience with Xeane. She was comforting. She asked questions and answered ours. She took her time and she didn't push us. Thank you!!

I tried taking my daughter there today (1/24/21)because we needed headbands and clips for her hair. She is 2 and special needs. I entered in and the employee told me she can't be in there because she doesn't have a mask. I tell him she can't wear one because she doesn't meet the guidelines and because she is special needs. He continued to tell me she needed a mask, ignoring the fact I am telling him this. We left the store, with her screaming because she doesn't understand why she can't have the headbands or clips. We ended up leaving Gurnee Mills because of this experience. We will be calling corporate on this young man and store for their behavior.

Told my 11 year old that her ears would turn green or black and fall off if she did not choose the 14k gold earrings. Horrible service, and used scare tactics on a young child. Do not go here.

Me and my friend went in here yesterday looking to get our cartilage pierced and we were looking for prices but the girl was servicing another family which we didn’t mind but she kept asking us while trying to work with another little girl which one we wanted but again there were no prices so she seemed annoyed and was telling us a few prices of ones we liked then she brought another worker that seemed newer to the job and she just kept yelling at him telling him We wanted to get pierced when we never said that we were looking at prices to decide if we wanted to get it done but she just constantly kept yelling at him giving him attitude so we ended up leaving because we didn’t want someone like that working on us. Go to the Mchenry Claire’s, they’re super nice!

Went in there to browse and ended up buying a few things. Good service and very pleasant assistance

Took my niece to get her ears pierced this afternoon & customer service here is the worst. Very rude employees!

Horrible attitude. Went to get my baby’s ears pierced and the employee with blondish brownish medium size hair was very rude and was rushing everything. Nobody is forcing you to WORK especially with BABYS.( made one side of her ear crooked and was very stubborn saying she did it right)

Leaving 0 stars because the employee very short pixie cut was SO rude. I was there to have my 7 month olds ear pierced and I joked and said would you be nervous doing her ears ? And she looked at me rolled her eyes and said no? And then told me to pick our earrings. She went to the register and when she came back she just stared at me and I thought I was in her way and I said oh sorry and moved and she said “didn’t I tell you to pick out earrings?” And I said you know what Nevermind I won’t have you touch my daughter because you are being so rude. And she just walked away. never going in there again.

Claire's has the worst customer service coming in the door. Female manager has a bad attitude towards customers.

So everything is so overpriced. And I guess it’s fine because everything is cute, but then everything BREAKS SO EASILY!!!!!! Like I only put the necklaces on if I really want to, because theirs a 50% chance that it will break. Because everything breaks after at least a week of getting it. My necklace was tangled up in a big knot, so I gently tried to get it out, and snap! It broke. And this hasn’t been the first time that some overpriced item from Claires has broke. More like the 10th. Maybe lower your prices or get better quality instead of going “hey let’s set this small squishmallow as 30 bucks and also let’s make sure to get material that makes it get holes in it in the first week of buying it.” Or “hey let’s make this headband 15 dollars so that it snaps when you put it on.” Instead lower your prices, since one scrunchie costs ten bucks, or get better material so you aren’t ripping people off.

Took granddaughters in to get ears pierced for Christmas the girl working was patient and did a good job.
