Well worth going and saving a lot whole getting your bucks worth to max! And the kindest of people to help you find what your looking for with the warmest of smiles too.

They treat their customers poorly. They are very rude, and don’t let you touch anything unless you buy it. DO NOT GO HERE. Also overpriced for a dollar store. If I could give this place negative stars I would.

Staff was friendly, I bought a lucky cat from here and a pride flag. The lucky cat upon opening it at home and putting in the batteries needed for it, it didn’t work at all and still won’t work. :(

You would think that it says Dollar world that things are actually a dollar but they are not. A lot of overpriced item's that you could find at a dollar tree for a dollar. Items don't have prices on the shelf. I actually ended up not purchasing anything after I was rang up and found out how much things were! The only neat thing about this store is the "Chicago" merchandise they sell. It's good for people who are visiting Gurnee from out of town and looking for souvenirs. This store is so convenient and has everything you’d need! From cooking tools, to snacks, to gifts! Plus the staff is very friendly and helpful! It’s a great place to go if you need a quick snack or beverage!

I LOVE THIS STORE! The family who runs this place are the most genuine people In gurnee mills and their store has everything you may need. People take this place for granted! There isn't anywhere else like it in Gurnee mills!

Kind of shady prices are way high compared to what you normal could get them..plus store name is misleading not everything a dollar .I don't recommend this store at all.

Absolutely AMAZING DOLLAR STORE! ! ! Everything you can imagine and much, Much MORE! ! ! I drive 20 miles for the last 10 years to get the best deals for all and any occasion. Christmas shopping for my kids, family and friends done in 1 stop, even those people for whom it's hard to find a gift! Items you would need to run a whole mall for at a Fraction of the price, even chain dollar stores. Got my kiddos warm gloves, winter fluffy socks, hats, slippers and bunch of other little gifts. Christmas decorations and off season too for theme parties all year long. CHICAGO GIFTS for friends and family: keychains, shot glasses, mugs, t-shirts, hats... way cheaper than any place around, especially when we go to visit family overseas or have them come here and need dozens of little gifts, as everyone will be expecting something... NAVY, Marine Corps and Army merchandise. Plus everything else you would expect to find at a dollar store! ! ! And since I asked last time I was in, the owner ordered more of big plastic Alphabet and Number posters that my almost 11 year old loved, as he's teaching his 3 year old baby sister now❤️ The owner is one of the kindest people I have ever met and is always there, no matter if I'm there early day after Thanksgiving or a busy weekend 🥰

beware of the Dollar World store the lady sold me a bag of chips and refused to exchange or give me my money back because they were expired, mind you I work here in Gurnee mills mall and see her everyday, we had a whole argument and she even denied I bought them there when I was just there a few minutes before, not to mention she charges an illegal $5 minimum on the credit card machine, in the state of Illinois it is against the law to charge a minimum on a card reader! Boycott her business and bad business practices stay clear if you can! Don’t fall for all the 5 star reviews those are people who are related to the store!
