The experience and decor were super cool but the food was not that great and holy moly is it expensive! You would think for how expensive everything is the food would be amazing. It was bland and it was hard to even eat. I got the anaconda pasta which I would NOT recommend. My son got the Korean stir fry. I tried a bite of his and the sauce was decent and had a little bite to it. My boyfriend got the chicken fried chicken and he said it wasn’t great and the chicken breasts were very thin. Our waitress was also very rude and hardly waited in us and failed to check if we needed anything. It’s cool to take your kids there though for the atmosphere. The menu is very limited and everything is $20 or up. For three entrees, the appetizer platter, and 3 strawberry lemonades the bill was $107 😳 . Even though the waitress was super rude I still left a $25 tip. $132 of food everybody hated but we liked the moving gorillas and tigers, the fake rainstorms, and the fake stars on the ceiling 😂

Very interesting place, the cafe has a shop where you can buy some trinkets. There were a lot of free tables in the restaurant, but it was impossible to sit down because there were not enough waiters, the restaurant was not allowed, you had to wait for something to be vacated, but you could sit in a bar where the food is the same as in the restaurant. Food is normal.

Love the atmosphere. The kids absolutely love coming here as there is a great display of relastic looking animals. You feel like your eating in the jungle. Menu is great for the kids. Regular menu is a bit small and a little pricey, but it's definitely worth it for the kids. They also have a store attached.

Rainforest Cafe offers an exciting dining experience for kids (and let's be honest, adults too!) My family absolutely loves the thunderstorms! We stopped in for lunch today, and it wasn't too busy. The food was delicious and our kids enjoyed their visit. The Adventure app was top notch! While it can get pricey ($97!) fast, it is well worth a stop, especially while on vacation! You'll leave with happy kids and full bellies!

Great service but unfortunately the whole mall was a shell of what I remember. Food was pretty good the chicken tenders in the appetizer platter were very small and very disappointing. Besides that the dinner was delicious and again the staff was so nice.

Way overpriced. There needs to be better lighting at the tables. It's very hard to even read the menu, had to use the flashlight on my phone. The restaurant needs to be updated especially when you figure 2 adults and 1 kid costs $100+ tip. The menu needs a bit more variety. The fish and chips is a good choice if you're in the mood for it. You get 4 pieces. I likely won't be going back unless there's some new menu items at least. Once you've been there, you've been there.

It is a unique restaurant with its own style. A very cool looking bar. Large aquarium with beautiful fish. Large statutes of animals to pose for pictures.

Some meals are a bit over priced for the quality & quantity. The most expensive appetizer for $30 feeds 2, The fish was very chewy, the adult drinks were watered down, the rasta pasta was ok, & the kids meals are so small that unless your child is under 5 they will be asking for more food like my kids were. & the 2 watered down adult drinks came in a souvenir glass we didn't want or ask for but were still charged for. We won't be returning or recommending.

Brought the family here for their first time. My 4 year old liked the atmosphere alot. Maybe a little bit too distracting for him, the service was good, average wait time. Clean facility. Very good Food! Good restaurant overall. Definitely a place to check out if you haven't been to one before.

This rainforest location was clean and the decor was great. That's it! Everything else was mediocre, below par and tasteless. The jungle seems to be serving all frozen or canned food. Corn, tilapia fillet, green beans; were frozen or straight from the can. If you are looking for casual dining to enjoy tasty food, you may want to avoid this location. Entrees are upward of $30 (for lunch also). Kids menu was good. The freshest food on the plate was an orange slice 😄

Loved the environment because it is such an original idea but service and food was just so awful. Our server was being rude to my friend because she ordered off the kids menu because none of the food on their “adult” menu was sounding good. Our server was absent for most of the time and never came to check on us. Even after handing us the box’s she never came back to drop the check but she did give us a dirty to go box with food on it. We were also celebrating our friends birthday and the cupcake we got (not the lava cake thing just a stale cupcake) was given to us which gave us another ten minutes of waiting around. So no wonder why we had to wait 5-10 minutes after our scheduled reservation time to finally be sat. I work in a restaurant myself and I try my personal best not to be hard on servers but my god was this horrible. Our servers name was Crystal.

I went there on a Wednesday. They were probably understaffed. I waited a while to get my food. Staff was nice though & did there best. My dinner alone cost $31 for seafood plate. Food taste ok. I wouldn't go back. I just went there for the experience.

Our son had been in Navy camp for 10 weeks and he wanted "real food" we chose Rainforest Café. Our first time at this restaurant and in Chicago. Food was hot and delicious! Our service was amazing! Friendly, kind and super attentive! Wish I remembered his name. African American young man, did an amazing job! Thank you for such great service! Our entire family love it, here at the Rainforest Cafe! Atmosphere amazing!

My daughter loves this place. I like to order tacos with shrimp. I love when the storm starts, such strange sensations.

Loved this place. Great for families and the decor kept our little guy entertained the whole meal. The place was very busy so I recommend putting in a reservation or doing some shopping and come back when your table is ready. I highly recommend the cheetah rita

I’ve been wanting to take my toddler here for awhile so my husband took the day off work and we drove the hour and a half from our house to give our child an experience that I always enjoyed as a child. We got there for our 4:15 reservation and actually got seated early. But after we ordered we waited over an hour for our food while watching every table around us walk in and get served food very quickly. Eventually we had to leave as our server was nowhere to be found and my toddler was having a meltdown because she wanted to eat. Honestly disappointed because even though we made a reservation 45 minutes before her usual dinner time we still hadn’t received food by 5:40 when we walked out.

Food was good but service was mediocre at best. The restaurant was not busy and service was not great, messed up order and drinks were not refilled but you’re going for the atmosphere and that’s on point with the animals and rain storms. Food was good and fresh but don’t expect great service. Definitely on the more expensive side as well but that goes with the atmosphere.

The only thing they have going for them is the atmosphere, food was WAY overpriced and tasted like it was warmed in a microwave, steak was chewy, shrimp tasted horrible and had slime on the outside, it was $7 for a root beer... Will not ever go back.

Being gluten free I had a good experience at the Rainforest Cafe. The waitress knew what what was GF. Then the manager, I assume, came out with separate tickets to confirm table allergy for those GF, and reconfirm our order. I ordered the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger and they had a GF bun for that. Perfect. Then instead of frying the fries, they are baked due to cross contamination. Would eat here again. The only negative is the menu is not clearly marked on what is GF and what isn't. There are a few GF options but only one item was marked.

I love the place, all the details. The food was average. We sat at the bar and it was nice. Unlike some of the other locations it wasn’t constant noise. But that could be because we were at the bar. But it was fine for what we wanted. The only complaint is how loud they are. But I love how it looks for atmosphere it looks amazing, but again the sound. Definitely recommend if you don’t have a headache and are fine with the loud noise.

Food was way better than I expected (I had a burger; my date had salmon. We both agreed it was better than other chains and were really surprised). Frankly if you have a family or are in a long-standing relationship and aren’t coming here you’re dead inside. Who the hell doesn’t like the ambiance here?! Just a lot of fun.

We celebrated our son's birthday and he had a wonderful time. I had the shrimp and it was good but it could have been better. Service was great and so were the drinks.

Took my daughter here for her Birthday. The food was good but not the best I had. My girls weren’t too fond of their ribs not sure why because I didn’t taste them but they did look delicious. I had a club sandwich and it tasted as good as a club sandwich would anywhere. The cheese dip with meat was delicious and tbh the best we ate that night. The service could’ve been better as the waitress didn’t take her time to explain the price for the lava cake which she said it was free for bday girl only to find out one slice was and she served us the whole $22 cake. The ambiance is definitely worth it in my opinion for kids especially. They would love the sound of thunder and rain and the lights.
