lm not giving any stars cause everything stopped at the lobby. Was going to check in for a week for business. But I needed to use the wash room. So I ran in and asked to use the wash room. The middle aged heavier set lady with her hair up in a messy bun. Said do you have a room? I said not yet. I just got off the highway from a 3 hour drive. She then said," Well, you can check in and use the wash room in your room. How rude are you?! So instead I chose the Hampton Inn. Especially when they have all these homeless people that are given rooms. Makes your business look like a hotel no tell kind of business. With poor representation at the front desk!

Adrian and Toni (Antonio) were the best staff to run this place. It was clean and very professional. After they left things went downhill from there. New staff came in and they tried keeping up but some of them were just so rude and disrespectful. Amanda and Cindy are the best staff right now. They go above & beyond for the guests. The current Manager Alonso is so rude, disrespectful and really doesn't know how to communicate. I've witnessed him mistreat staff and guests as well. He lacks communication skills and shows no compassion at all. He talks to guests like they're below/beneath him, like he owns the building. I'm puzzled as to how he became manager? 🙄😭🤔🧐 This hotel has really lost it's value. However, the kind staff still try to keep it under control. Housekeeping is also great, very friendly.

This hotel initiated charges on a card number that was not authorized, and when I tried to dispute it, they kicked me out of the lobby and told me I was not allowed back in and that there was nothing they could do. The 3 women, 2 red heads and one dark haired said there was nothing they could do after standing at the desk ignoring me waiting for over 5 minutes talking about personal issues. It’s a horribly run place, the front desk personnel is disgusting and rude.

I will give it two stars just because it was a place to stay while working out of town. We are moving to a different hotel. They say they clean every 14 days. We are on day 30, no cleaning. You have to wash your own sheets and towels. All while paying 2.50 per washer and dryer. The staff knows nothing. They are no help. The manager leaves whenever there is a pressing issue. Such as the elevator not working. We are on the fourth floor, their suggestion to move out was carry all of our stuff down four flights of stairs. There is no communication as to when the elevator will be fixed. We weren't even notified. There is no clue as to when it will be working again. Let's also add the smell of pot everywhere. I thought no smoking meant no smoking of anything.

Booked in advance, arrived. Got a room with only 1 bed for 3 people, waited a long time for another room as if us needing the room we booked was an inconvenience, new room had sticky black gunk all over the floor barely any toilet paper.missing sheets on the beds one bed has only sheets no blanket other bed has a blanket but missing a sheet, there was clumps of hair on the sheets but they dont stink so theres that… Loud people at 12:30am stomping around floors, and halls, we were multiple states away from home and other hotels were booked or had pricey rates and we were looking for weekly rates, really didnt have any other options at that moment. And being late at night we had to stay. Has potential to be an amazing place could be cleaner but overall the rooms are really nice just need better housekeeping and Not a very welcoming hotel we weren’t talked to very kindly. It is Affordable though.

My true and honest opinion on this hotel> I'm really some what happy with my stay but probably not ever stay here again>I would may consider this as an travel for work business hotel more then vacation. Place is really clean but smells of smoke. Wednesday Night October 26 2022>As I walked in the lobby>staff name Cindy was very helpful kind and friendly upon check in after 6 pm and when I walked through the hallway it smells so bad like weed and pot>after check out NOT to sure If I wanna stay here again due to smell of pot and weed 😓 Thursday October 27th into Friday morning 28th 2022>I may reconsider staying here again soon if it's just me ONLY as a solo and it's been very quiet by far even with the cute dogs In near by rooms also been having a pleasant stay plus get use to the smell after a while>I slept Thursday night just perfect with no distractions. Friday night October 28th 2022 into Sunday morning October 30th>It's been mostly quiet entire time so far but still smells like pot/weed through the hallways and staff have been friendly. Sunday night October 30th into Monday October 31st 2022>On Halloween morning some odd reason before I left for the day my key card wouldn't work after double checking my room. Monday night October 31st into Tuesday November 1st 2022>Still really quiet. Location near by Six Flags Great America is perfect along with lots of shopping and restaurants near by. Front Desk service is not 24/7 but the hours are 9 am to 10 pm 7 days a week and if their is housekeeping it's every other day if your stay. Staff are really super friendly kind and helpful every minute of your stay but their is no every day house keeping due to people who dont wanna stay cleaning here long enough>General Management, Cindy and Amanda up in Front Desk are really kind people as you get to know them. Room is pretty nice with kitchen setting area it was also quiet up til after 9 am with stupid car alarm that keeps going off nobody does nothing about it next morning also heard few dog's barking far away from my room and TV definitely works well. Beds are OK comfortable but not super nice comfortable and I wouldn't really call this an romantic getaway hotel. Plus no plate's, bowl's, and what ever else needed for kitchen setting in room so had to go out get some. No pool at this hotel for those who like to swim. Plus if stay on 2nd floor looking towards highway can be little noisy.

We unexpectedly arrived 1 hour before the posted check-in time and thought they would have at least one room ready so we could offload our luggage. Before we even hit the front door, we could see a rather disheveled person in their bathrobe and slippers moving about in the lobby. The next thing we saw was a sign announcing air conditioning maintenance (see photo). Seems like a significant inconvenience for guests. When we got to the front desk it appeared that the bathrobe person was under the influence which didn’t seem alarming at that point. We were told we couldn’t check-in, which was fine, but wanted to verify our reservation for a king bed. Nope…2 queens no EXCEPTIONS. We left and came back after a few hours to complete our check-in. We weren’t yet to our room and noticed the hallways smelled of tobacco smoke and something else which my wife said was cats and since she is allergic she knew that’s what it was. We dropped our bags and left again. We couldn’t help notice we were given one bath towel, one hand towel and one wash cloth. When we returned later that evening the person who was in their bathrobe earlier was now sitting on the curb in the parking lot clearly more under the influence than earlier. It appeared it was an intoxication more than just alcohol. We knew this was an extended stay place, but we quickly realized there were people who called this place their permanent residence. Once we were in bed at about 11:00 pm there was a disturbance in the hallway. There were 2 males who were extremely intoxicated who were running up and down the halls yelling and knocking on doors. What made it worse is that they either had friends down the hall or guests were opening their doors telling them to keep it quiet and that’s when it started getting scary. They were yelling that they were coming into the rooms, and it sounded like they weren’t kidding. I called the front desk and to the duty manager’s credit she immediately responded to address the situation. When they wouldn’t open the door for her, she called the police. It seemed as though this was not unusual. The police arrived and issued a warning, and it was mostly quiet after that except for the now lingering smell of marijuana. Needless to say, we didn’t sleep very well not knowing if we were safe in our room or if our car would even be safe. As near as I can tell from reading other reviews this place is a little over a year old, but you wouldn’t know it. If you can get a good price it might be worth it for you, but go into with the understanding that this is more than an extended stay place. It’s a residence which doesn’t usually attract the best guests.

I was scared at first after reading some of the reviews but we had a great stay. My husbands job brought us to the area so we stayed a few months. They have a laundry room which was great 2.50 a load and very clean. It’s more of a long stay hotel, a lot of people actually live there and are very friendly. Love that all the rooms have full size refrigerators and a microwave as well as a 2 burner s and a sink. They have a towel service also unless you do not mind doing your own laundry. The manager of this location is amazing and very helpful and always there.

I've been staying in kitchen suites for years. I've never seen one, before now, that charges $20-30 for dishes. What's the point of a kitchen if it isn't stocked with the basics? Pure greed. The blinds were broken. There was a small desk but no chair. No hairdryer. No breakfast, not even grab'n'go. Not enough towels and a strict towel "exchange" policy. The girl at the desk was understanding and truly wonderful but the hotel's vibe and policies are unforgivable.

we booked a room for 2 nights. Booked a double bed room, got there an got a single bed room with only one towel and 2 pillows that were horrific. Had to fold pillow 4 times to get comfortable.. we were told there was no rooms available, we got what they had left.. again mind u we booked a double bed room for 3 people. Walls had dust all over then and water pressure was not good. Freezer was durty and house keeping never came to clean room or exchange towels or nothing. Also u can hear people on side of u and above u

I had a really good experience at the Woodspring Suites in Gurnee. My room was clean, the price was great, and the access was easy. I recommend. Staff was helpful, I slept great, the Wifi worked perfectly, and I appreciated the kitchen in my suite.

Alonso has no manager skills, drugs being used and dealt daily every where. I was lied to that I had to stay in a two bed room 😩 I was kept awake 3 times until 4 am by rude guests.. the staff does nothing to help. I got out of there fast

I have no idea how those good reviews on Hotels.com. The room is clean. Except there is big dead bug body next to the window. The Hotel in a nice location but right next to freeway, very loud. We stayed for my husband's navy graduation. No experience, never been here before. We have 2 small kids. We stayed from thursday night till Monday morning. Never had any room service. The front dest work hours is limited i believe from 9am to 10pm; No breakfast provided. The only thing good about this place they have stovetop you can cook simple things in the room, but you have to buy your own pots, utensils, paper towel, and tissues. The wifi only allow 2 devices to be connected. On our last day stay, front dest called and told us someone reported to them that we leave our trash bag outside in the hallway. Well, i don't remember i was told I have to clean my own room, my own bathroom, toilet, and throw trash myself to the downstair. I've never had hotel experience like this before. We are here for a getaway trip, the front desk lady told me everything was write on the little book they gave me when i check in, and the staffs and housekeeping not responsible to throw any trash out of my room. Well. To be honest, I didn't read any. People was smoke weed in their room for the pass 3 nights we were here, So I'm not sure if someone reported to them this too. This is the most terrible experience I ever had.

First time staying here and it was very good. The only complaint I had was low shower pressure. Other than that, it was a great stay
