    Waukegan Beach was okay. It needs to be cleaned up a bit. It wasn't the cleanest on the north end. Great place to go if you're looking for a really beautiful sunrise.

    Free parking, great view of the lighthouses but I wouldn’t want to swim at this beach due to all the broken glass and other litter that people have left on the beach. Nice quick stop to take a few pics.

    This beach is beautiful that's my first time there and I enjoyed myself the ways was good the sun was out it was very nice just to let you know there's no no guards on duty but besides that everything was beautiful

    Well kept beach, not to crowded on a weekday with beautiful weather! fYI: be prepared not to use the bathroom there, there was no toilet paper in any of the 5 portable bathrooms, and they were full!!

    Even in the cold winter the lake is magnificent! One of my favorite places to go to. Peaceful and relaxing.

    Did not see any piping plovers on the trail but it was a pleasant little walk. Not a very large(wide OR long) trail and you will feel the grass against your legs for sure. Not a lot of people. There is a portapotty by the exit of the trail.

    Beautiful no cost tourist and workout for visitors. I enjoyed doing a good walk around workout, while my daughter and her fiance enjoyed a stroll at the pier. A beautiful close location to take memorable pictures.
