😠 Beware of this company. Came out in 50 degree weather to clean and check AC unit. Tech said Freon was very very low so obviously must be leaking. He said it's not worth repairing even if they could find the leak. Suggested a new unit for $4200. I then contacted a reputable company to come and check... Beware of this company. Came out in 50 degree weather to clean and check AC unit. Tech said Freon was very very low so obviously must be leaking. He said it's not worth repairing even if they could find the leak. Suggested a new unit for $4200. I then contacted a reputable company to come and check the AC unit. I told them what happened. Their first response was you cannot accurately check out the unit and the Freon charge in cool weather. Must be warm (at least 70). Their tech came out and tested the unit. First thing he found was the Season's tech did not replace the Freon line caps. Unit tested out at 90+% Freon charge and has been working fine. Beware of Seasons Heating & Air Conditioning. They will try and fleece you!

My mother called for no heat, and a few days before Christmas the technician left her without attempting any repairs or diagnosis. He did get the furnace restarted for her, though it did not stay running, and ultimately the solution was an offer to sell her a new furnace for $5000 after charging $130 for the service call. The next day I had a chance to look over things with her. The main issue? Dead thermostat batteries for $3. It's been running fine for a week now. A professional service should include such a common and basic part of troubleshooting in their $130 service call, no matter what. It's like restarting a computer that is malfunctioning -- it's the obvious first step. In any case, I spoke with the owner who was accommodating and understanding of the situation. I can appreciate the time he took to speak with me and understand the concern. But future folks need to beware that a service call may not be what you're expecting, so check your thermostat first.

Four Seasons installed a new 50 gal hot water heater on Monday. The two technicians openly admitted they made mistakes and so the install took an extra 4 hours for them to "fix" it. By the next morning, we had no hot water again and our basement was flooded. Four Seasons said a technician would be out between 1 - 7PM, but he did not show up until nearly 8PM and didn't leave until 10. He openly admitted the original installers did a terrible job and that he could not fix it. He ordered a new part to be delivered on Wednesday. On Wed, he showed up in the afternoon and waited almost 2 hours before the company called me to inform the part was not coming. They never told the technician so he complained to me that he was unhappy with them. A new tech came back Thursday, showing up nearly 45 minutes late, and said he could not fix it because the new part was defective and gas would leak. said yet again a new part would have to be ordered and now we'll be on day 5 with no hot water for our family because of Four Seasons terrible service and product. Furthermore, we missed work and had to cancel several personal commitments because of how unreliable the scheduled times were and the perpetual inability to fix a brand new hot water heater. Amongst it all we realized they double charged our credit card and maxed it out. We contacted customer service several times and all they offered to do was open a review case but have not followed up with any meaningful response after multiple days. Truly unbelievable experience after years of relying on them for nearly all of our home needs.

Absolutely fantastic service! 7:30pm Friday night, I smell a metal/rubber burning smell coming out of the heat vents at my dad's house in Lake Bluff. It's really bad. Hurts my throat. I turned off the furnace, looked on Yelp and called Seasons. Melissa answered the on-call line and once she heard the problem, she knew she had to get someone out to us right away. At 8:00pm, she called back, saying we'd have a tech in an hour. By 9:00pm, Michael showed up, along with 10 year old son Jason, who clearly was a veteran helper. Michael took his time diagnosing what exactly the problem was, and also determined we'd been inhaling levels of carbon monoxide that explained just why my 90 year old dad has been so sleepy all the time lately!! Long story short, Mike advised us how to safely stay warm through the night, and then came back first thing in the AM to replace the 38 year old furnace, this time with older son Devin, who is looking to soon be just as good at this as his dad. Melissa (who's Mike's wife and the boys' mom) called to confirm she'd register all our parts for the very solid warranty they offer. We got a great price from kind, thoughtful professionals who are prompt and talented. The new furnace looks great, is running perfectly and zero carbon monoxide. LOVE TEAM LaBELLE at SEASONS HEATING!!

My house was built in 2002 with a builder’s grade furnace and AC unit. Now that it’s 2018, they had come to the end of their useful lives and I jumped into the market for new units. I got quotes from 7 different HVAC companies. Seasons was by far the most cordial, responsive, competitive, and overall best company to work within the area. They gave me exactly what I needed at a fair price. Cory did a great job coordinating the work. Their installers (Rob & John) did a great job putting everything in. We ran into one hiccup during the installation where my Sensi Thermostat stopped working and they even bought me a new one and came and installed it as part of the job. Overall, a really great experience and I highly recommend them to anyone in the area looking to get some work done!

My 25 year old heat pump and 35 year old air handler needed to be replaced. I received quotes from four companies and ultimately decided on Seasons because the installer who came to estimate the job (Jim) was impressive and the owner (Jerry) offered a reasonable price. The installation was scheduled for the following week. The installers, Jim and T.J., were highly skilled professionals and worked very well as a team to complete this project. They were happy to answer every question I had throughout the project. If you need any HVAC work done I can highly recommend Seasons. Make sure to ask for Jim and T.J.!

Thanks so much to the team and to Roy, the tech who made the service call for an annual service. We had a number of small issues which he thoughtfully explained, told us our options, and never rushed us. In the past I would look for a coupon and call the lowest cost option for my annual HVAC service. I’ll be calling Seasons Heating and Air every year because of Roy’s service, and the competitive pricing!

Our 26 year old central AC unit died on the Saturday of 4th of July weekend during a 90 degree heat wave. Seasons was the only firm that answered our call on that Saturday night. Melissa was very helpful and arranged for a technician to come out the next Morning (Sunday!) Our AC unit was beyond repair but the technician scheduled a new unit to be delivered the following morning. He arrived at 4:30 that afternoon and stayed until 8:30 that night to get it up and running. There were no overtime charges and he was very thorough and professional. In less than 24 hours, in the middle of a heat wave, I had a brand new American Standard central AC unit installed. The price was also very fair. Unbelievable! I was very impressed with this company and the technician, Michael, and will certainly be calling him for all my heating and AC needs going forward. Thanks again Seasons for saving our 4th of July family celebration!

Love Seasons Heating & Air. Have used them for many years for the bi-annual AC & Furnace check-ups and two complete new units installed - one in my old house in Mundelein in 2014 and now my new residence in McHenry. Any service issues were responded to quickly and I am very pleased with their technicians. TJ was my service tech for my annual AC check-up on June 1st. He told me that the AC was on its last leg. I wanted to try to make it through this year so he complied with my wishes. Sure enough - 3 weeks later - it totally blew up at the end of one of our 90 degree heat waves. As I was going out of town the next day, I scheduled the replacement of AC & furnace the day after I returned. TJ, Jackson, and another crew member, showed up on time, worked all day to complete the job and I could not be more happy with their work. Jerry Webber and Seasons are the best. They stand by their work, very polite, and clean up when they leave. MY AC bills have gone down this summer due to this new unit. I highly recommend Seasons. Linda Clark
