I have extreme anxiety about going to the dentist due to childhood trauma. Dr. Nallasamy is the kindest dentist I've ever had. She is very gentle during procedures. I've had cleanings, fillings, root canals, and crowns. She always takes care to ask if I'm comfortable or if I need a break. Her entire team is friendly and professional. The office is well decorated and comfortable. I also enjoy the fact that I can support a local business in my own town. These gals are the best!

I have been a patient since July of 2020. I came to the office for emergency work, I was taken care of immediately. Dr Shanti and her staff have been wonderful. They quickly corrected my issues and have been doing a lot of work since then. I’m happy to say that she’s been able to get me to the point where I am now a candidate for Invisalign. I am happy I found her and will continue to see her as long as she’s in practice. Don’t hesitate to see her, she’s amazing.

I was referred to Lake Villa Dental by a friend. I was in need of a partial and was having a hard time at my old dental office getting one that fit and looked natural. Dr. Nallasamy listened to my concerns and was able to create a partial that not only fit properly but looks natural too. I also had a cavity filled during one of my visits and it was the most painless experience. The staff in Dr. Nallasamy’s office was courteous and professional. Another benefit to this practice is timeliness, it didn’t matter what time of day my appointments were, I was always seen on schedule. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a reliable, affordable, and competent dentist.

Call to confirm appointments and follow ups to make sure everything is feeling alright. I cant say enough about what a great place this is. Lake Villa Dental is very clean, classy office with the friendliest, most accomedating staff i have ever dealt with. Dr. Shanthi is honestly BY FAR the best dentist i have ever been to. She is very gentle, quick and kind. I have a terrible phobia of even the lightest dental work and when i needed new dentist, she came highly recomended from my father. My first experrience with her was a root canal and tooth extraction and it was unbelievably quick, painless and affordable. She is awesome and i recomend her and her practice very highly. Totally painless and very nice. She is a total pro.... Receptionist Tonya is very welcoming and friendly and helped me through some serious pre-op jitters. Seriously if you are a baby like me and hate the dentist, go see Dr. Shanti. The great reviews are why we initially chose LV Dental.  We found her staff to be friendly, courteous and helpfuI. However our experience was quite different with regard to charges/services relating to how payments were applied.  Husband and I were new patients, each with our own separate insurance coverage. Services I recd  were mainly for routine maintenance, etc; husband's were more specialized, for which he had to pay upfront. After many months I am still waiting to be reimbursed an approx. $200 credit for overpayment for services recd (an admitted calculation error on their part).  At the time I was told by the doctor that they couldn't credit me but would apply to my future services.  Later, after questioning her about my credit I was informed they applied those funds to my husband's acct, never mentioning this to either of us. As mentioned above husband had paid out of pocket expenses UPFRONT, prior to receiving services. Needless to say we are disappointed in how our business was conducted, which was inexplicable and questionable at best.  In particular because we each had our own SEPARATE insurance coverage with totally different insurers.

I have had the best experience with Dr. Shanthi and her amazing team! I have never felt more comfortable with any other dentist. Everyone in this office makes you feel at home. Pricing is always explained in great detail. I am so happy with how my teeth feel and they look so much better now too. So thankful for this team!

This is a great dental place that really cares about its patients!! After switching Dentists, this has by far stood out as the best place we’ve been to; we’re sticking with them. My previous dentist retired and I had a hard time looking for a new one. I went to other dentists last year (2017) and I wasn’t happy with the way they cleaned my teeth. I tried Lake Villa Dental and I was happy after the first appointment. The whole team was fantastic! They’re in the process of replacing a crown and I was already impressed with the temporary filling. I can’t wait how the actual crown would feel in my mouth. I have a big family and oral care is important to me. I feel blessed to find their practice because they are thorough and personal in their approach to their patients. Dr Shanti is not only very friendly but also very competent. I highly recommend this dental office.

Tanya at the front desk adds organization, competence, and transparency to making / modifying appointments, dealing with billing and insurance, and working around my own crazy schedule.
