My
husband,
our
friend,
and
I
visited
the
Gurnee,
IL,
Jimano's
restaurant
on
Thursday,
June
22,
at
about
9:30pm,
having
just
driven
in
from
the
Cleveland,
OH,
area.
Steven,
the
manager,
went
above
and
beyond
the
call
of
his
duty
to
advise
us
on
the
kind
of
pizza
we'd
ordered
("not
Chicago
deep-dish")
and
to
let
us
know
that
the
pizza
would
take
about
25-30
minutes
to
prepare
and
cook.
He
did
not
mention
that
the
store
would
be
closing
in
about
that
time,
and
he
did
not
kick
us
out
of
the
restaurant
either
at
the
time
of
ordering
or
when
the
pizza
came.
Steven
also
accommodated
our
special
version
of
the
"create
your
own
6-pick"
beverage
choice:
I
was
concerned
that
he
would
get
in
trouble
for
doing
this,
and
he
said,
"Don't
worry:
I'm
the
manager,
so
I
won't
get
in
trouble."
In
addition
to
this
beautiful,
kind
treatment,
we
had
the
world's
best
pizza.
It
was
made
with
the
freshest
ingredients,
cooked
to
just
the
right
temperature,
and
came
hot
from
the
oven.
I
have
only
two
regrets
about
this
situation:
1
-
I'd
promised
Steven
to
write
a
very
nice
review
the
next
morning,
and
I've
had
to
wait
for
4
days
to
do
it
for
reasons
beyond
my
control;
and
2
-
Jimano's
doesn't
yet
have
a
restaurant
in
northern
Virginia,
where
we
live.
JImano's
and
Steven
provide
a
delicious
and
welcoming
dining
experience,
one
where
we
felt
at
home
from
the
moment
we
walked
through
the
door.
When
we
left
northern
Virginia
on
June
21,
I
told
my
husband
and
our
friend
that
we
were
going
to
eat
at
Jimano's
for
dinner
on
Thursday
night
(the
22nd).
They
knew
better
than
to
argue,
and
we
all
loved
the
experience.
We
cannot
say
enough
good
things
about
Jimano's
and
Steven.
We
will
definitely
return
to
Jimano's.
