This was perhaps the worst Chinese food I have ever had. Way overrated. Food was bland and main dish was way over salted, and I was raised by a mother always carries salt with her and practically salts her salt! Food wasn’t hot, mostly lukewarm with random cold spots. Soup was just pure spicy with little flavor. I ordered Mongolian chicken and they gave me a whole onion with a little chicken. It was probably 90% onion and 10% chicken(see picture). I wish I was exaggerating. Dining experience was meh. Relatively clean, but strangely quiet. Don’t think I’ve ever sat down at a restaurant with no background music. Waitress was very nice, but not very competent. Had to ask her to refill my water and she forgot to bring me the napkins I asked for. Not great considering I was 1 of the only 3 lunch customers...

Their food is great, service excellent even though the dining in is closed for the moment but to go is still great!! Their fried food keep being crunchy for hours, and they are flexible with your orders, As a Chinese myself, they are very Cantonese, you can order the beef chow fun and have them press the fun more crunchy, they will do that for you or light on the oil or different combination you can think of. You know we are picky Chinese but they are willing to do that for you. If you want them to do light on the breading, they could too. I am very happy for my chow fun, veggie delight, deep fried won ton with meat, egg drop soup is great too, friend beans schezhuen style is great too. the deep friend wings leftover for the next day is still crunchy, amazing. I will definitely go back, even my German American hubby will go back too. Happy Chinese New Year and God bless your business!!!

My food took over an hour and half to get here, just to be completely disappointing. Not only that, the pork was not even cooked all the way in one of my dishes. Will not be ordering from here ever again.

I've been going to this place since my high school years which believe or not it has been over 10 years. Always liked dining in with my bestie. The food here is good, always get the orange chicken. Their online ordering for pick up is quick and easy to use with even a notification on what time it'll be ready and it's been pretty accurate. We always order a ton of food and it never disappoints. It can get pretty busy with pick up orders but it always seems that they are able to handle it.

I LOVE CHAN'S! As a transplant to the area I tried a couple places before I found CHAN'S. Before and now during the pandemic their delivery as well as pick up service has always been flawless. Every single item we've tried has exceeded our expectations. My husband says they have the best curry he's had in the US since moving from Ireland. I'm partial to their Chicken Lo Mein. When we order orange, sesame, or sweet and sour chicken, it's never mushy but always fresh and crisp. Not to mention the prices are very reasonable.

This is by far the best restaurant around the area Good food and great staff. Will come visit every time I am around the area

The pan-fried noodles were so crunchy and greasy, I could barely eat them. The big chunks of scallops I got you could tell we're clearly frozen as they were still hard as a rock. I absolutely love Chinese food and this was the most unappetizing I have ever ordered.

Mongolian beef is full of white onions and barely any beef. Hardly no green scallions as well which is the main ingredient. Being cheap with the ingredients???

I have gone to them for years before their fire in Waukegan. Never again. Waited an extra 1/2 hour beyond the time promised online. When we went to pick it up they made up excuses, etc. The food has gone down hill too. NEVER AGAIN!!!

No sit down . Went all the way there for a 4 Star restaurant to be turned away because of covid . That time has passed . You just want to have it convenient for yourself not your customer's . Restaurant means sit down not carry-out only.

My dish is triple Mongolian is delicious but today I get triple onions !!! Look and is so strong onion …

We have ordered several times each for carryout and have fallen in love with their Chinese cuisine at this restaurant. It's absolute incredible to us. We really like their Governor chicken. We also complete it with the fried rice, egg roll and their appetizer has cream cheese. Yum. The combination is like beyond with the variety then anything else at ither recent similar type cuisine, at least to us. Seems clean inside but their inside table area since COVID they only have carryout. If you normally enjoy General Tsoa's chicken their Governor chicken is very similar but I like Governor better. It's less spicy but just perfect enough for us. We have decided that this will be our normal carryout chinese. Each time I can't wait until my husband gets their food home until serve our dinner. Thank you Chans. Very good and when it gets home all of the items very warm.

Was wanting some good Chinese food and everything was closing and found this spot and omg!!! It was great. I felt that I went late they were about to close and they said no problem!!! They were all great. Most importantly the food was great I will definitely be back and will order a lot more food!!!!!!!! Thanks for the great service and food

Terrible Shopping Center. Not Handicapped accessible.Stairs everywhere in front of businesses. Make shift ramps(used to be stairs) NO RAILINGS at each end of the businesses. I have trouble getting to Chan's and when I enter I am not greeting at all. I see roped off area that leads into the dining area. Boxes stacked on tables. Chairs stacked up. The DINING ROOM IS CLOSED. Carry out and delivery I assume only available. I am not happy walking all the way back to the handicapped parking. Now I have to go down the "make shift" ramp and risk falling due to they have NO RAILINGS. I will NEVER visit or patronize any businesses in this shopping complex.

The food was good but barely had any chicken.

Fantastic food we ordered the Hunan Chicken and the Singapore curry noodles with extra chicken. Everything was very fresh, well made, and very tasty. Even though it was delivered it tasted like I was eating in the restaurant. One of our favorite spots and it will remain that way.

The food was not good. Some was edible and some was not. I would not go back again. One star is probably rating it too high.

Best Chinese in Gurnee, hands down! Been ordering here for nearly a decade, never disappointed being from Chicago, this reminds me of several places I used to go back in the city!

Chan's is our favorite Chinese restaurant! They have the best Chinese food I have had in a very long time. Everything we have tried on the menu is delicious. We keep coming back because it's all so good!

Large portion. Below average food. At times, too oily. Kung Pao has cheap vegetables and none of the better ones. Could be subjective on my part.
