The "Al pastor burrito bravo" is pure🔥🔥🔥 This place never disappoints. Every visit I'm just as satisfied as the last!! Flavor is on point unlike all the other identical menu Mexican restaurants in the area. Quick service and awesome staff!!

Cannot believe the great reviews this place gets, so many other Mexican places that are so much better, but it is the only one by my job, I only get 30 minutes for lunch. Way too expensive for what you get, a 3-taco lunch with rice and beans for over $13. Really and now, they have something new, a little debit card reader, they slide in your card wanting you to leave them a tip, a tip for what, doing their job. I called this order in and went there to pick it up, I did not sit down and get served, this is when I will leave a tip. Like I said, over $13 for the food which they probably make over 50% in profit then ask for a tip when you pick up your order. I'm done will never go there again, remember do not purchase a Tostada from there, they barely put anything on it.

This is a hidden Gem! located in a small strip mall complex. The food here is truly authentic and made to order. The owner was one of the original cooks for Tacos El Norte. The quality of the food is right up there witrh the finest of Mexican restaurants in Lake County. Staff is friendly and outgoing. Portions are large so bring an appetite. If you are looking for fast high quality affordable Mexican this is a place you will want to visit. In a few years you will be saying I remember when this was just a small little restaurant off Delaney Rd.

$15 for a burrito and a jarrito was a little expensive but it was good. I got a steak fajita burrito and it was pretty big, I'll go back again and try something else. It was very clean and the service was very friendly.

Cute little hole in the wall restaurant. Service was good. Food was subpar. Salsa too watery. Not enough flavor. Definitely could use some work on the menu. A bit disappointing.

Okay, this is a buried gem and we stopped here on a whim. I’m so glad we did. The food was absolutely delicious and I swear we said “mmmmm” after every bite. When they asked how it was, they seemed sincerely interested in our honest response. One word keeps coming to kind when I think of my meal here… AUTHENTIC 😋

Very friendly staff, very fast, many good options, But the food was definitely just above edible. Absolute bare minimum. Salsa was watery and flavorless (needed red and green sauces mixed in to make it edible again). The chips were like snappy cardboard. The burrito had flavorless tortillas and was filled with tons of lettuce, so most of it was lettuce flavor. The Barbacoa tasted alright. The beans and rice were definitely from a box/can, or at least they tasted and felt that way. Go find a Qdoba/chipotle for lunch instead.

Omg just awful funny thing one of my co-workers and myself were on lunch that day and looking for somewhere to go eat we found this Mexican restaurant called El burrito Bravo and my coworker ordered some steak the tacos themselves came with lettuce cilantro onions and I believe tomato so that was Overkill steak tacos for the most part have cilantro and onions and that's it I myself ordered a burrito steak burrito and it was so small and the flour tortilla smelled funny like I said it was about 6 in Long for a burrito that's too small and it was poorly made absolutely no flavor what a waste of time and money do not go there will not recommend this restaurant to no one I would have gave it zero Stars if it would allow me to

This place is the best "quick" Mexican restaurant we have found in the Waukegan/Gurnee area. The tacos are my favorite and you should definitely get the guacamole. They make the guacamole fresh to order and it's fantastic. 10/10 for quick and inexpensive Mexican.
