Wonderful food and service! The staff here is very kind and the food was wonderful! I’m sure I’ll be coming back here in the future since the food is nicely priced for what you get and the options here are great too!

First time eating here and will not be the last. I enjoyed "The Duke" signature poke bowl. The best way to describe Poke Bros is a Chipotle but for sushi. This poke bowl was so delicious and had just the perfect amount of spicy. I will be recommending this place to all my friends.

Let me start off by saying that this is my favorite restaurant, and I have been constantly eating at Poke Bros since they first opened in Gurnee. They have fresh ingredients and great service, particularly Wendy - she is very kind. Unfortunately, the reason why I have to leave a lower review is because the portions in the bowls have significantly decreased, yet the prices have stayed the same. Before, they would fill the bowl for you. Now the only way my bowl reaches halfway is if I order a double portion of protein. I understand that businesses sometimes need to cut corners for their bottom line, but I do think this has taken it too far. If you want to give smaller portions, I suggest making a price adjustment to justify it.

We’ve been ordering from this location for two years, and the best thing was that my whole family loves the food (no need to stop at other restaurants to satisfy the curmudgeons…) But recently, to our chagrin, the last four orders, including today’s, have had errors. One order had a bowl with shrimp instead of salmon; another time there was no avocado; today I didn’t get my seaweed salad; and once you totally forgot to make a bowl. I’ve noticed that the employees keep changing; I assume that’s probably why there have been issues with QA. But at the rate you guys have been batting on our orders, I’m not sure how long we’ll be patronizing your store. Please do better with training and assuring quality among your employees. Thx!

I love the poke bowls from this place but every time I go it’s like a gamble on if I’m going to get good portions or not. The last few times I’ve gone, the people making my bowl have really skimped on the ingredients. My bowl today had barely a splash of sauce/dry rice and like 3 pieces of pineapple. I’ve gone to other locations and have not had this problem, it just seems like this location that has constant issues with consistency.

I ordered delivery. Previously, I ordered the Duke Poke Bowl. It was delicious, but the peppers made it spicy. This second time, I ordered the Salmon Build Your Own. I had added sushi rice, salad, cucumber, edamine, seaweed salad, green onion, pineapple, carrots, tofu, sweet soy, ponzu, nori, and crispy onion. It was a great combination of ingredients. It tasted excellent. The pineapple and sweet soy made it tasty. Photo is of the Duke Poke Bowl.

OVERALL: The place serves fresh Sushi fish. You can put together your own bowl or choose from signature bowls. PRICE: Very reasonable for fresh Sushi grade fish. FOOD: Plenty of choices to add to your bowl. You can even do half and half. Portion sizes are good and selection is fresh! IS IT CLEAN? Place is clean and well kept. Allergies: The menu has marking for GF options and they have a vegan dessert.

So fresh tasting and healthy. The poke bowls, no matter which one ordered, you'll br satisfied. I got the Johnny Utah with marinated tuna.... AMAZING.

Best poke bowl I've had since moving to the Midwest. The service was fast and the staff was friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant even for the people who don't eat raw fish.

The food was really tasty with great fresh flavors that will make you feel like you're on the islands. There isn't anything special that wowed me but the food is something you should try. The atmosphere is great and I finished my lunch for dinner later in the day.

Looks good, taste good but both of us had some really bad stomach problems 4 hours after eating. Not sure I will try this again. So sad cause I really wanted to like this. Should have known when owners had McDonald's when we were there eating. I guess I should have read the room.

i ordered poke bros gurnee through uber eats and barely got any fish on it. I asked for easy rice and and got a huge bowl in rice w barely anything else on it. Called the store and they didn't answer! guess ill just throw it out!!!

This place is great. Everything is freshly made every day. The staff is nice and friendly too. I highly recommend coming here for the delicious food they have.

This isn't real Hawaiian poke, but Hawaiian themed. I will say, if you remove all of the other of the other toppings which are delicious, and just ordered the marinated tuna, you would get authentic Hawaiian poke. Disclosure, I am a local boy from Hawaii. With that being said, fresh ingredients. Low prices and delicious mainland style poke bowls.

Service is AWFUL If you are black!! I went to get a POKE BOWL and the employee making my bowl kept looking at me crazy every time I told him what I wanted him to put in the bowl. I have this issue every time I visit the Gurnee location I was hoping it was a fluke but It happened again today. The employee was acting so weird that my husband got upset and asked him what his problem was and he just started laughing like it was joke. I asked for a Manager and the just smiled at the request. I will NEVER COME BACK TO THIS LOCATION AND IF YOU ARE BLACK I SUGGEST YOU NOT EITHER!!! LAKE BLUFF LOCATION WAY BETTER!!!

It was super good You can get already premade bowls or you can pick your own toppings It was kinda small it only had 3 tables with 4 chairs each The food was very fresh and everyone was very friendly They did give you a pretty big portion but it was kinda expensive (30 ish dollars for 2 bowls)

I was so excited and really wanted to try this place out. The food looked good and tasted great but within hours that same night I woke up in the middle of the night with severe stomach pain and nausea and spent half the night on the toilet vomiting/etc. Most likely won’t return back to this place again.

Ordered through Door Dash My order was wrong, I ordered the Shaka bowl with ginger, pineapple, jalapeño, and mangos. My order did not have my additional ingredients. When I called the only resolution was a discount on my next order. They basically gave me the regular Shaka bowl with no regard to my actual order. Would not recommend.

Super fresh and delicious as always! I only have great things to say about this place. I've gotten several different bowls and appetizers and none have disappointed. I keep coming back because of the super fresh proteins and veggies. The sauce options are awesome as well. Spicy Kani salad is delicious here, too. I definitely suggest this place if you're in a poke mood!

This place is delicious! The ingredients were all super fresh. I ordered for pick up and it was ready about 5 minutes later. I got the marinated tuna. I will be back here! Best poké I have had in a long time.

This restaurant gets five stars from me for their service. I’m not a fish eater so there’s not a lot of selection for me. I either have to get a bowl without any meat or get chicken and the chicken is not very impressive. However, all of their ingredients are very fresh and the proportions of each item in the bowl are perfect. Their mochi ice cream is fantastic, and they have a very nice selection of flavors. But what stands out to me the most is how fast they are and how friendly they are and how clean the restaurant is. If I’m picking up an order that was placed online it is always always ready when I walk in the door even if they have a line of people! And I’m always greeted with a smile as soon as I walk through the door. As a delivery driver it is probably my favorite place to pick up from in Gurnee!
