Ordered a $30 deep dish and got a thin crispy flat cardboard that I could buy from the freezer section of a grocery store.

I have never had anyone care any less about quality of their job. I preordered on the app and ordered curbside because I have a small child in the car. I arrive and pay and then my app says my pizza is ready. 15 minutes later I call and they say it’s ready. Then they don’t come out. Finally after a half an hour I find out they burnt the pizza, did not care enough to tell me who has been waiting for over a half an hour. I watched three employees chatting behind the counter this entire time, never once thinking to tell me why the app says my pizza is ready but there is no pizza. Now I’m heading home with no pizzas and no dinner.

Ordered a medium sausage and onion thin crust. The total price was about $27 which is absolutely outrageous especially for how mediocre the food was and how thin and little food there was. At first I was very excited about Lou Malnatis new location here but now I wish something else would take its place. WILL NOT BE RETURNING

It's truly disappointing when a renowned establishment like Lou Malnati's fails to deliver on the basics – properly cooked pizza, accurate orders, and timely service. Despite arriving on time for pick-up, I was left waiting for a mind-numbing 40 minutes beyond the promised time. Save yourself the frustration and find another pizza joint that values its customers and can execute the fundamentals of pizza-making without turning it into a catastrophe.

Worst experience at a Lou Malnatis ever! I put my order in at 7:12pm for 1 large pizza to be done at 7:55pm and I didn't get my pizza till 25mins past. When I asked the guy in the green shirt and glasses why is mine taking so long when it should've already been done? Just shruggs it off like it was nothing and kept asking for my name when come on my pizza should've already been done!!!!!!!!! Worst experience and maybe shouldn't have so many "KIDS" at the front counter

Pizza was undercooked, there was a piece of plastic melted on top of it and all the toppings were on one side like it was tipped over and it was way over an hour for delivery

Not good. Had thin crust and it tasted kind of raw. Im sticking with Quonset, Kasiers or Giordano's. I bought some chocolate dessert that I thought was cake. That was nasty too.

NOOOO seriously this is a joke right?? I was waiting in the pickup area for an order I had called in… . I waited and waited and called on the phone trying to get someone.. - nothing. Yes. U may have to walk into the back kitchen yourself to get someone’s attention here. But this will get your attention. Prices are going up everywhere -understood. We know and expect this but come on. How can you sleep at night charging $21 for a personal sized pizza that’s not even deep dish?! Lake County has lots of good pizza places. SAVE YOUR MONEY. GO ELSEWHERE!

The prices and sizes are absolutely ridiculous. Their website lists extra large pizzas as feeding 4-5 people -- what? These wouldn't feed 4 preteen children and they cost $25 a piece. They are 16" tops...an extra large should be 18-20", you cheapskates. Their physical sizes are conspicuously missing from their website...pretty important information for customers to know, don't you think? Especially if you are going to call a medium pizza "extra-large". How big are the smalls, then? 6 inches? To add insult to injury: I placed an online order at 3:30pm for 6:45pm pickup. I show up at 7pm and it isn't done yet! It wasn't ready until 7:15pm...are you telling me that you can't prepare two medium pizzas to be ready to eat within 3 hours? God **** am I mad right now. I ALWAYS stop at Lou's when I'm in the city and I don't ever remember the prices being so unfair and the portion sizes so small. Inflation is 9% not 90%. After this experience, I promise I will NEVER give this company one single cent. I only hope that someone will see this review and it will change their mind on where to spend their hard earned money. PLEASE, not here.

PICK UP ONLY. You can call in your order or use the app. Great pizza that is amazing. Different flavors of chicken wings. Fresh and tasty salads. The Italian ice (Strawberry or Lemon) are so good. Curb side pickup spots available or just walk in and pick it up. Limited parking because of neighboring businesses.

Placed a curbside pickup order to be picked up at 750pm. Arrived around 745, but waited in pickup spot. There were three workers in the front area. Sat in my car until 807pm and finally called b/c workers all retreated to back. Lady was nice but kept telling me she couldn’t see the hotbox and no one was in front because they all went home for the night. I tried to explain to her that I could see them there at one point and then they left and all went to the back while I was sitting in the space out front. She said she would go to check to see if my order was ready and I was confused because it was supposed to be ready over 15 minutes ago. She could bring it out to me and added an extra thing of cookies but regardless customer service is a little lacking.

I’ve had Lou Malnati’s pizza before and have always loved it. Was treating my out of town family some Chicago style Pizza, but man was I wrong. Granted we got there 15 min early, but since we didn’t receive our pizza until 15 minutes past our delivery time, we were waiting for a while. I wouldn’t have minded waiting if the pizza was yummy. The pizza was very watery. The box was leaking water on my lap on the way home. The toppings had a huge gap between them and the crust. Parts of the crust were still cold and a little doughy. The kids would rather eat the leftover vegetables from yesterday which was a bit of a blow to Chicago. Never going back to this location… and maybe Lou’s again… so scarred. Way to expensive to get uncooked pizza

I ordered a deep dish pizza and got a regular piece of pizza. I was ready for all of the thickness and was sadly disappointed. Maybe we'll have to try another establishment or Giordanos instead.

Great people. Customer oriented, I wish more people knew about this place. It is east of Gurnee mills mall. No Great America, Gurnee mall traffic. I got there and didn't order a item, ordered it onsite and they kept everything hot until the item was ready and brought it to my car. AAA+.

Just a take out place that you can order online or by phone. Service was great and pizza was packed well. Ordered a half deep dish sausage and half Lou. It was recommended to order uncut and wait to slice it at home so it wouldn't be so sloppy. Three of us split a large. Good quality ingredients and a little pricey. Needed a fork to eat it. I threw out my edges. It was good, but I'm not running back there anytime soon.

We have ordered from this new location a couple times. FYI it’s take out only - there are no seats. Amazing customer service! We recently ordered a 3 topping thin crust and the crust wasn’t very crispy and the bottom was soggy - so soggy it stuck to the cardboard and was inedible. HOWEVER. We called and they immediately offered a refund and to remake the pizza ASAP. The manager was awesome and the best part - made an EXTRA pizza for the trouble. Will continue to support this business and appreciate them going out of their way to make the situation better.

The thin crust pizza is just as good as the deep dish. When mine was delivered, they said they ran out of larges so they gave me two mediums.

They have the best house salad. I am whole food plant based, so when pizza night comes I pray they say Lou Malnati pizza. I then can get the house salad for me. All good

Called in our order and it was ready for pickup in 30 mins, as specified. Everyone was very pleasant on the phone and in person. The pizza was traditional Chicago style and did not disappoint!

It was apparent they were having a rough time with the dinner rush. Sarah was running around making sure everyone was informed on their order status and took great care of myself and other customers during my visit today. Sarah was doing a great job putting customer service first and deserves to be recognized. Nobody was upset or complaining but she made sure everyone was taken care of. Thank you Sarah keep up the great work!
