👍👍 Great people (very knowledgeable and fun to talk to), great coffee. I used to drink Intelligentsia, but randomly found this place recently. The price point is actually better: $10 for 12 oz. of beans. If you buy a less expensive bean like Foldgers or Eight o'clock then it'll be a sticker shock. Tota... People often mention coffee, roast,

Great people (very knowledgeable and fun to talk to), great coffee. I used to drink Intelligentsia, but randomly found this place recently. The price point is actually better: $10 for 12 oz. of beans. If you buy a less expensive bean like Foldgers or Eight o'clock then it'll be a sticker shock. Totally worth it though... and still way cheaper than getting Starbucks every day. And the beans were roasted last week, not a month ago. I love supporting local, especially when it doesn't cost me more. And there are homemade caramels there too which are incredible.

I worked at Starbucks for 5 years and loved most of their coffee, because there were so many strict growing, harvesting and roasting procedures that they had. However, their coffee has gotten to be SO expensive and I would rather support an equivalent LOCAL business!! Not only is Libertyville Coffee Co's roasts equivalent or superior, they deliver locally! My husband and I love Ethiopian, Bali, and Guatemalan roasts best. HIGHLY recommend!!

Best coffee roaster in town. I once ordered some espresso from another highly frequented roaster in town and it was so lightly roasted I was startled. I confirmed it was actually espresso and they said yes. It was bland and dull. Vowed never to go to them again. LCC roasted the beans I ordered nicely. There was a nice sheen on them and the flavor was fantastic. Delivery was by an employee in their car. I will get more from them in the future.

Definitely my new favorite. I am extremely picky when it comes to my roast. It’s so hard to find a blonde that’s not too light or too dark and this one was just right on the spot! Simply perfect! Not fruity, not too acidic that leaves lasting after taste, no additional flavors but true coffee taste. Smooth, soft, actually tastes like coffee, smells like Colombian mornings. Shipping is fast and product is fresh. 100% recommended.

Love this coffee company. Talked with Brian, described what kind of coffee my wife likes, and he picked out a batch that had been roasted just that morning. I don't have a grinder so he ground it for me. He advised that I wait for 3 days for it to "breath". I did. We made it on a European-style stove-top coffee machine (2 cups per brew). Very satisfied. Smooth. Not bitter. My wife even described it as "velvety" on the tongue. We drink it black. 5 stars is not enough.

Accidentally ran out of my mail order roast and needed something quick and fresh. Found Libertyville Coffee Company and it did not disappoint. Picked up a bag of Antigua and thoroughly enjoyed an espresso - smooth, creamy and sweet. LCC will now be my go to roaster.

Recently met the owner and what a great person who is definitely passionate about his coffee! He suggested the Tanzanian Peaberry as the medium/dark roast I requested. He also asked if I would taste test the Panama Santa Clara F. medium roast. It is a lovely medium roast; but, after trying it I realized I really do prefer a darker roast. Perhaps the Panama Santa Clara could be roasted a little darker?

Ordered coffee online for gifts; ready the next day. Cute and convenient location just off main downtown. Friendly staff. Coffee got rave reviews from recipients, especially Bali blend! Great local business

We've have been searching for the perfect French Roast for years - and finally found it at Libertyville Coffee Company. The flavor is spot-on for us. Well Done! We have visited the shop, tasted several blends and talked to the Owner - all a pleasant experience. Now, we have 5 lb bags delivered to our home for convenience, but will always make a special stop by when we're in town. Thank you!
