Moved away haven't been here in 20 years. General Tsos is the best I've ever had. They used to give you pork fried rice, broccoli, and an egg roll in the lunch combo. But now just fried rice and General Tsos for 4.99 is really good.

Not impressed. Food was cold and tasted like it sat for a while before it arrived. Bbq ribs and bbq chicken had a weird, bright red sauce on them rather than bbq, and it tasted like cherry cough syrup.

Egg roll was by far the best I've ever had. The orange chicken tasted good. Until I had a piece that tasted so bad I almost vomited. I was scared to eat the rest of the meal. Fried rice was disappointing as well.

My favorite restaurant on College Ave for it's amazing food, amazing prices, and its proximity to Lawrence. It's much closer to my residence hall than even the campus dining hall. Only one thing would make it better: Please for at least one day in the week make it open past 9pm. Toppers gets a lot of business from college students simply because it's the only thing open at midnight.

Putting 5 stars so people aren’t fooled like I was at first glance. Drove 20 minutes to get to the establishment. Upon starting with the fortune cookie it was S.T.A.L.E but also soft at the same time. Didn’t taste like a fortune cookie but more of a old seafood infused piece of soggy cardboard. Ended up getting the pork fried rice with shrimp. The rices itself leaves a ucky taste in mouth. meal all together was mediocre at best and to be completely honest you’ll want to throw it away. This is coming from a person who is not a picky eater. 😬 Id recommend a different place!

We ordered delivery on Eat Street. We paid for shrimp egg rolls & got vegetable & they were soggy, cold and old tasting. The Sweet & Sour Pork was mostly batter with about half the order only batter balls with no meat at all. The shrimp in the Shrimp & Broccoli was spoiled and so far gone that the smell when we opened the container was horrible. The Chicken Mei Fun was mostly noodles which were mushy with maybe 5 little pieces of chicken. The Kung Po water chestnuts were stored in the can and tasted like tin and the sauce was bland. The quart of Shrimp Fried rice had 6 tiny shrimp in it, and yes I counted and nothing else but yellow rice. Even the white rice was gross! Cold, hard and dry to the point of crunchy! It was obviously packed into the containers hours before we ordered. Unbelievably bad! Can I give mi us stars?

Egg rolls were delicious but the fried rice was greasy tasting. Service was decent. Not very welcoming

Hunan 1 hands down has the best Chinese food in Appleton. Always hot and fresh, always consistent! Thank you!

For a few years I have ordered from here, once every couple of weeks. I have never had a problem with the food or service!

Before Covid you could eat at one of their few tables, but these days it is just carryout. Food is good and reasonably priced. They can usually prepare your meal in ten minutes. You can watch from the lobby. This is a family operation. We've watched their children grow into young adults. We used to watch them with their coloring books then homework at a spare table while their parents worked. One wall in the lobby is full of photos of family vacations.

$90 worth of food was not worth making myself and my friend violently ill for the last two days.. Absolutely horrible stomach pain. The chicken plates we got smelled funny and even the crab ragoons alone made me sick again. Would not recommend!

Very good food and excellent service and the prices were very reasonable. The only thing that I had trouble with is the lack of seating, there were only three tables and it's a very small place. I guess most of their businesses is carryout and delivery. But I would definitely go back there again for their food and their service.

I love this place so much! Please see the images in my review, just a few tips for people buying: If you're looking for the pork pieces that come with the pork fried rice by themselves, order the pork spare ribs! Portions are great! I'll add more as I order more!

Ordered take out general tso's chicken and crab ragoons. The crab ragoons were decent. The chicken was not edible. I had one bite and spit it out, my husband tried 3 different pieces before we threw it in the trash. Fried rice was mediocre. We will not be back.

Food is amazing though I always get the fried dumplings!! My favorite in town. Service is always fast and friendly!!

Eggroll was excellent. The rest of the meal was mediocre at best. The chicken was actually a bit scary to eat. There were some pieces that tasted fine but there were other pieces that needed spitting out. If I could rate zero stars I would still give one star for the eggroll. One and done. No second chances.

They've had great food for years and continue to do so, but I have to give them a big thumbs up for their safe ordering and pickup during the COVID-19 pandemic. Super fast and safe. Really appreciate the effort they've put in to keep the community safe. Highly recommend the General Tso's and shrimp lo mein!

Have ate here twice. First time was fine, the food was average and service was good. Got an order to go. Second time we recently ordered food for delivery and we waited an hour before finally calling and it turns out they delivered our food to the wrong house! We had paid online already, so someone got a free meal. They were good about sending out another order, which did make it to us, but it's still very disappointing to wait an hour and a half to finally get your food. Food was okay again. General Tso's chicken was a bit bland. Beef and broccoli was decent.
