Was in town yesterday and stopped for an early dinner! Restaurant was not very busy, but it was kinda early! Our server was not overly friendly, but efficient! Our pizzas were delicious as always! We had a double crust Bill’s Special & Hawaiian pizza! Their loaded cheese fries were AMAZING! An FYI they are not currently serving peanuts, as there is a National peanut shortage! This did not take away from our experience at all, just thought it was interesting as I had no idea! Lol

Great pizza and a cool theme. Very woodsy, camp like theme. Feels very cozy but the AC was blasting to a point where it was chilly inside. The pizza we went with was the Cancun, what a great combination of toppings! Sweet, spicy and salty the full spectrum of flavors. Great pizza with a nice crunch and grainy bottom of pizza. They bring you complimentary peanuts as you wait for your pizza but don’t be alarmed if you see the floor COVERED in peanut shells. It’s part of the experience! I always felt so guilty throwing the shells on the floor but it’s what makes it fun.

Expensive plain food , ordered a nacho box was plain no cheese no beans just a splash of guc on the top and just chips , ordered 2 steak tacos and the meat wasn't seasoned came out to 19$ for the worst lunch ever could've got a large at domino's pizza or bdubs wings for that much

This is the real deal guys… first off; as you get seated by the super nice staff you get a basket of delicious raw peanuts that you can munch on as you read through the menu… but trust me, skip to the pizza menu guys because this is not ordinary pizza. It’s generously topped with all the ingredients, the crust is just delicious, not that greasy thick heavy paste you get in those typical chains, it’s thin, it’s tasty, it’s light but firm, it’s delicious. If you’re craving for pizza and want to get to an authentic good looking with great service place, this is your spot.

I mean this place is literally the best in the area. Atmosphere is 10/10 Food is 10/10 Service is 10/10 There aren’t many places where you can get a burger that’s steaming hot right off the grill. Same goes for the steak sandwiches. I love the complimentary peanut baskets they serve and how attentive and quick our waitress was. Definitely coming back to try their famous pizza.

Best thin italian sausage za in North America, hands down. It never disappoints. Awesome interior and atmosphere. My 99 yo Grandma from Grayslake never wants to go anywhere else for pizza and she's had em all.

I had my birthday party for 25 guests. Thomas did an excellent party planner mad it very smooth transitions. Our main server Leo kudos for him! Every request I made he is on top of the game. I highly recommend this place for parties.

I absolutely have no negative issues with Bill's Pizza and Pub North! The service was fantastic, we went early and were just about done before the crowds started to come in. Our server was fantastic. I wish I would have gotten her name. Anyway, a 30% tip was actually cheap. Everything was pretty simple, I got the Bill's specialty Pizza large thin crust. My wife had gotten the Greek salad, and the cheese stuffed shrimp. My wife was drinking some cherry ginger ale, I just had Mr pibb. The food was well made and was extremely flavorful. I couldn't bring myself to throw the peanut shells on the floor, so we piled them up into one of our extra appetizer plates. This facility was extremely clean. And, I might add the bathrooms were spotless, The layout was nice, and remember, clean bathrooms mean clean kitchens. I won't eat in a facility that has dirty bathrooms, that's why I check before we walk all the way in. All in all, I have to rate them way way up there! Do yourself a favor and stop on in. We ordered Italian beefs to go. It was honestly the worst sandwich I have ever eaten. We normally like the pizza here, but I highly doubt I will ever go back unless it's the only thing open. It was terrible! We ordered extra dipped. The sandwichs were super dry and the meat was like rubber. If you're going to serve this to people you may as well just say you're out of stock and close. I was sooo disappointed!! On top of that, most of my fry's were crumbs. Very sad!

Rustic, family friendly, Bills Pub has been a Lake County landmark for generations. The north branch is great place to get a sandwich, a pizza, play a game of pinball, and have a good time in a restaurant that isn't a national chain. Its got character, and that's becoming rare nowadays.

We came here with a party of 10. We only waited about 10-15 before we were seated. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. We ordered pizzas and nachos. The nachos were delicious. The pizza was tasty. There are peanuts everywhere, just a heads up for anyone who is allergic.

The restaurant dining room was still open with covid safety precautions. The food was very good. I had the personal 9" Mexican/Taco pizza which had always been a fav. Glad it was still on the menu. We were there about 12:30 and were the only party in the place. Don't know how these places are going to survive. Our server was very friendly and attentive.

Going to Bill's Pub around 11:30 am to noon affords fewer people inside the restaurant. They still have outside seating arranged plus now there is a tent with a couple of heaters over about 8 tables. Great food!

The focus is on traditional American food: burgers, chicken, hot dogs, pizza, etc. I always get worried whether a restaurant with the word "pub" in the name will be family friendly and appropriate for kids. It seems like they always forget something and always missing something from my order. Even tho I repeat myself twice to get it clear and make sure they include all of the items they always forget they need to pay more attention in what they are doing. It’s really frustrating to have to go back or call to let them know.

It’s a give or take sometimes food is good sometimes not, they almost always tend to forget something in your order then I waste time driving back, also they never give a detailed receipt of what you paid for unless you ask!

Some of the best Mexican food in the area and great portion sizes too. They're prices are slowly rising, but the quality of food remains top of the line. One thing I don't like is they give small portions of salsa initially prior to ordering. They will refill, so this probably came to be due to people wasting the salsa, which is sad. I'll continue to frequent this place.

Got some food yesterday and it was all refried meat, burt , like the grill was never cleaned prior to using it which I get sometimes it happens but this was one of those tastes like it had not been cleaned in days. I am very dissapointed and it usually is good food but this whole refried meat and burning it was not what I was expecting with so many local options . I will definetly put this in the bottom of my list when I think of ordering mexican again which is often. I had to give the meat to my dogs and even one of them just walked away from it. This is a true story. No reason to lie. Nasty mexican sausage meat, nasty asada meat, nasty barbacoa meat and the ceviche tasted like it was done 2 weeks ago. Never have I left so much food un eaten. Pizza was great. Garlic bread and onion rings were OK. Owner should review their menu products periodically and make adjustments as needed. They shouldn't just assume everything is going to be great forever. Our server at a high top in the bar area was exceptional.

Bills Pizza is always delicious. Lots of toppings that cover the whole pizza right up to the edge. Appetizers tray came out and not only cooked to perfection but everyone enjoyed. Mozzarella sticks, fried zucchini & mushrooms. The cabin decor is great the animal and fishing trophies are exciting to see for adults and kids. The only draw back to the location the arched ceiling is finished wood and reflects sound causing the place to get very loud. Like being at a concert and yelling to converse with the person next to you. Really need to add some sound damping panels or more trophies up on the ceiling.

Bills has a large fun dining room but we chose to sit in their outside dining area. It is nice and big and shaded by pine trees. We had the place to ourselves. The server was very attentive and the pizza was great.

A great Third Lake staple that’s well-established in the community and has a reputation for good food. The food comes out hot and fresh, and the wait staff are helpful and friendly. Minus one star, however, for the indoor temperatures that felt like they were below freezing in the middle of September. The air conditioning was up way too high, and everyone in our party was literally hugging their plates for warmth when the server prepped the table for our pizzas we ordered.

First time trying with a group. Poor waitress was the only one working that night, and my group was 9 people. The pizza was great, but the restaurant lacked cleanliness.
