Went with a friend who is familiar with the joint - we had a great time & lots of laughs. I wanted a white Russian & the waitress made me a series of very tasty beverages. All the staff is so friendly! The place has so much character - I sure hope I get to go back again! I meant to take pictures of the most awesome beer garden areas but it was dang cold out & I was happier inside drinking 😉

Chill atmosphere with great scenery indoors and outdoors - the patio outside is very spacious including TVs, a fireplace, lawn games, and a pond of fish (you can feed them). The Polish food is👌 You can also play whatever music you want while playing pool or darts. There's always something to do here.

Unique collection of oddities and whirligigs. Perfect Polish cuisine and beers. Every nook and cranny holds a visual feast. It will take many visits to see everything. Almost like a mini ‘House on the Rock’.

Super eclectic place, very down home, fresh Polish food and beer selection. Service was wonderful and accommodating. We brought out of town guests and they had a great time.

This has to be the craziest, weirdest bar I've ever been to. The atmosphere is definitely one of a kind. I highly recommend it. Could use a little more staff to wait on tables outside during the summer, but all in all a good experience and fun time

I am on here to state that Robert, who posted a review three days before myself, has no taste. I give him one out of five stars. Log Cabin Bar is actually magical and that’s a fact, not an opinion.

The Best Bar in Chicago. Yogada the bartender is polite and good at her craft. The design outside and the koi fish make you feel like you are somewhere else..

House on the Rock. But a Bar. Super cool space and vibe. A must go if you appreciate hand crafted, unique outdoor spaces.

Log Cabin is such a unique and cozy bar - a must visit!! The outside patio is so charming with the koi pond and eclectic decorations all around. Owners are so wonderful and you can get some delicious Polish food like pierogies.

My friend recommended this place to me a few years ago as their favorite chill, low-pressure bar and now it's my favorite too. Great prices even post-pandemic and great pierogis too. I always trying to bring friends here if they've never been.

Found this place on accident and I'm sure glad I did. Really cool atmosphere inside and the beer garden outside was even cooler. Bartender was friendly and the food was delicious.

I really don't know what the hype is about this place. I'm sure it is not the elderly bartenders or so called home cooked food that you probably could get at any mediocre Polish deli. Well, considering that there is nowhere interesting to go around: even this boring and pretentious place would be popular. Especially since there is no decent Polish place to go to in the whole Chicago area anymore, the gullible American crowd would praise anything.

Really cool looking place - I never knew this was here before! Antiques and all kinds of unique things on the walls. We had drinks and tried the burger and Bigos stew/soup! Surprised to see they had some Polish items on the menu! We will be back to try some more! EDIT TO INITIAL REVIEW: I typically will not give 4 or more stars when I've only been to a place once. I definitely plan to go back and try more so stars could be coming....😉

The best bar in the suburbs. The only thing better than their cold beers is the authentic polish food. Lovely bartenders, and an atmosphere that is unparalleled. Don't forget to feed the koi fish! Oh yeah and it's dog friendly!

I have been coming to the log cabin for many years, Lester and his wife Helena have transformed it into an oasis. I can’t say enough about it, the people that work here, the owners and the atmosphere is absolutely amazing. Come have some pierogies❣️….Rosalie from Des Plaines

This place might look a little scary or weird from the outside, but just do it! Head on inside for a unique drinking environment! Days when you can sit outside are your best bet! There's a koi pond, pool table, TouchTunes and TVs... Overall, it's a good time!

This place is special- a rare gem. They are hospitable to say the least! The outdoor garden is magical. The owner has spent such thought and care in the vibe! The polish food is fantastic! Homemade pierogis. I loved the gumbo. The nicest bartender who treated my little girls like her own. I can't rave enough! The owner came to introduce and give us history in the decor... everyone was family
