I have been coming here for over 10 years and always happy with the service and food quality. This is my go to Korean restaurant when I’m in the area. The owner is extremely nice and such a hard worker. Highly recommend Blue House!

This place is super fun! The service was okay. We did have to wait a little bit for our waiter to come. The venue is pretty small as well. Once we actually got our drinks it was a much better experience. I've never had Korean BBQ, I do recommend it. We were able to grill our own meats. They also brought out many dishes that were already cooked. Were ordered a variety of drinks, and all were delicious. I'm not a fan of beer. However, the Korean beer I tried was pretty good. It was more on the expensive side. While the service could improve, I do think this is a great place to try out.

5 stars! We've wanted to come here for a while and finally made the trip and so glad we did! It was amazing. Attentive staff. Quick. Everything very fresh. We will be back! Affordable for 2 people, especially for quality non greasy food. Deff check this place out!

Our favorite Korean BBQ by far. Can't go wrong with anything you order but I love the kimchi pancakes and bulgogi and the hotpots. Also a great place to bring friends! Very fun. Try to get reservations or call ahead if you're going later in the night since it gets packed. The owner is is.very kind and always friendly.

Food was great, had a nice mom and pop feel to it, service was a little slow because there seemed to be only one guy as host and server and the place filled up. I'd recommend making a reservation if you're going during prime eating hours.

The food took a while to get there but it is lovely atmosphere to enjoy beverages while you wait. We got the table top bbq bulgogi. I was a little intimidated at first by cooking it myself but once we got it going it was amazing . The sides were awesome and the meat was well seasoned and plenty of it for two. Yum

We had the beef short rib grilled on the table. It was great. Also the seafood pancake was really crispy. Fun time with friends. We will definitely come back! (After 6pm there’s a line waiting to be seated.)

Why is the best Korean food all the way up here in Mundelein and not in Chicago? Everything is perfectly seasoned, not too sweet, and over all super delicious.

The food was good, price was ok, only one thing Id like to see improvement in is the air flow inside such a small place...I got there and it was foggy inside from all the smoke.

Great place for lunch or dinner! Went here with the fiance and we ordered veggie mandu, mackerel and ojingu bokkum (sweet and sour calamari). It was clean with a pleasant home-y atmosphere. Portions were great for what you pay for. Will definitely come back again soon to try the BBQ! 😋

Always delicious and the staff is always so friendly! Just make sure you understand that they have service buttons to call for the waiter when you need assistance, to order, or drink refills, etc. Service bells are a common thing in Korea but not many Americans are used to them. I find them very convenient so they come to help you when you need it, but might not always check on you all the time!

This was recommended by a friend, I finally came and tried it out! We ordered the Dolsot Bibimbap, Chapchae and Bulgogi Beef! Both the Chapchae and the Dolsot Bibimbap had very few pieces of beef! The Chapchae was very greasy too, but did have a nice flavor! On the other hand the Dolsot Bibimbap had no flavor and adding the hot sauce that was provided still didn't bring the out the flavor! The Bulgogi Beef was tasty but for the price, I thought it would be a larger portion! The banchan was no big deal, we had six different kinds! Overall the service was just okay and the place was all decorated with fake flowers (not pleasing for the eyes)! I think the server was the owner, service was slow too!

We have been meaning to go here since we moved in 9 years ago. We finally went. The food was absolutely amazing. We went at an off time so the issue of wait times was not an issue for us like it was in some other reviews. We got the cook at your table ribs and blugogi which were both to die for, especially the ribs. Very pricey though. Not sure how the portions compare to the same versions where you don’t cook it yourself, but we will be exploring that option next time. For the price we could have nearly eaten at Tsukasa (a local high end hibachi place that is to die for and comparable as the food is cooked in front of you). Ambiance is nothing special. With all that said, some of the snouts best Korean bbq! 5-stars!

Been here multiple times but this experience was by far the worst experience. The waiter, who im pretty sure was the owner, only saw us 3 times: to ask our order, to serve the food and to deliver the check. Never once asked how the food was, never once offered to refill our water, or ask how we were doing. At the time the place had 3 other tables filled. Mind you I am an Asian male with my wife and 2 kids. But he did not hesitate to spruce up his accent and ask how the other tables were doing that had Caucasian guests. As for the food: portion size was average, taste was average for Korean food, but the pricing is expensive. Over all the customer service made me lose my appetite honestly. Maybe im being too observant but previous reviews would concur. Could care less to go back here again.

My favorite Korean restaurant here in IL. Neat and clean looking restaurant. I had Beef Bulgogi for lunch. It was phenomenal! The meat was so tasty, sweet and tender. All the side dishes that came out were all my favorites! All love for this place. Only paid $13~ for my huge meal! Words cannot express how I enjoyed spending my lunch here. Side dishes are refillable. It's super authentic and owners are very polite and attentive. Will come back for more!! Outstanding food and service! As you can see I finished all of it haha

First time trying Korean food. Staff no communication, they let us point to our food on menu and walked away, brought our food put on the grill and walked away. It was most definitely a first time experience.

It was very delicious! The owner is very kind and friendly, the waitress was extra nice and we loved her service! I don’t remember her name, but she spoke Spanish which made us feel much more comfortable. Service was great, food was spectacular and plentiful! Would come again for sure!!

Just wonderful and delicious! Kimchi is perfect. Not over sugared bulgogi. Great service. The food makes you happy and warm against the cold. Can’t wait to come back here again. 음식 짱! 서비스 짱! 사장님 짱!

Blue House is the best! Owner and staff are so nice. I don't get these reviews that say they're inattentive... You have to ring the bell to have them come to your table, otherwise they leave you alone to enjoy your food in peace! Portions are the perfect size considering the sides they give you. Always delicious and leaves me wanting more.
