Practitioners and clients beware! This used to be a great place until it was bought out by LifeStance Health. The exodus of talented practitioners speaks for itself. I tried to pay my bills online 4 times but their system wouldn’t let me. I tried calling multiple times, but was left on hold for over 30 minutes each time. Leaving messages to get help proved to be futile so I gave up. My reward for my efforts was to receive a invoice from a debt collector! I gladly paid via the debt collector to get this corporation out of my life once and for all. I loathe giving bad reviews, but when someone refuses to show the slightest amount of empathy or effort, I feel that it is my duty to warn others.

The counselors are good but the corporation is awful. My daughter and I went about every other week for 18 months. For some reason, I was turned into collections even though they had my HSA card and nobody told me there was an outstanding balance when I was there in person. On top of that, I called billing, left messages and got no response. I called the local office, was told a manager would call me, and nobody called for a week. I called the collection agency and they told me they couldn't find an outstanding balance for me. When the 'manager' finally called she wanted me to call the connection agency again and wouldn't take whatever payment I supposedly owe. Very frustrating when they had my HSA card on file with thousands of dollars on it. There stars because I appreciate the counselors

The staff at Edgewood is horrifying; rude and dismissive, if you actually speak to anyone. My "doctor" prescribed two medicines that my pharmacist identified as having potentially deadly interactions; when I discussed it with her at my next appointment, she said she wasn't "concerned about that." I take her at her word that she didn't care if I lived or died. The entire organization is driven exclusively by greed. They made a mistake left me out several dollars in an unnecessary copay; management admitted to me it was their mistake, but they refused to reimburse me even that minimal amount. My "doctor" condescendingly asked why I would care about it since it was so little money, but couldn't answer when I asked the same question of this "practice." Go anywhere else. For your own good.

Had an appointment with Danielle Smith. I was asked what medications had helped in the past. I said four medications only one of which is a controlled substance. I was told by the doctor that if that was the only reason I made the appointment that I came to the wrong place and to get it from my primary care doctor. I couldn’t help but think why was I seeing a specialist for? I was only trying to answer the questions that she had. It was hard to admit I needed help and felt very judged, so I found a different doctor at a different practice.

Akwety Akrong quite literally brought me back to life. I was stuck in a bipolar 2 depressive episode after 20+ years of being diagnosed with depression and anxiety. No I am back at work, living and loving and even making friends.

Upon entering I was greeted by the young lady at the front desk. Office was inviting and I instantly felt comfortable. Akwetey Akrong was a great listener as well as communicator. He made me feel extremely comfortable. He was kind and personable. He was very knowledgeable and thoroughly explained everything. I left feeling very confident with the recommendations provided.

Waited 1/2 hour on the phone, the messages are inaccurate, they will not pickup the phone until 40 minutes later. They want your credit card info. , want to do an intake, and you cannot speak with the provider prior, to see if you are a good match, they will schedule you, and then you will find out, if you are a good match. Will charge you for cancellations. Seems the buck drives this wheel. cPTSD patient, just caused more stress, and certainly didn't show any compassion! Waste of my time, today!

Stay away from this place because of he provider left for a walk when it was my appointment and then kept interrupting and looking for a fax on his phone tried to call for a new provider and just kept being put on hold and they refuse to get a manager involved. So my insurance company paid for nothing what a joke

No one here actually cares. They make you make a video visit appointment for which they are always 20-30 minutes late logging on to (which if you were you would be charged a late fee or considered a no show) for them to get on the call and the appointment lasts maybe 3 minutes because they don’t really listen and just want to get the appointment over with as fast as possible. They don’t care if you improve all they care about is giving you meds so you have to keep coming back. HUGE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!! This isn’t just after an experience with one doctor it’s after experiences with multiple at multiple locations. Don’t waste your time here. All the good doctors left a long time ago.

Billing is terrible. Communication is zero. One sided emails. Billing team do not listen to cause and force people to pay more with higher cost coding. Already sent email to wecare with no response

I love my clinician here, but other than that, they have really dropped the ball. Finally I find a med management doctor that gets it, and she leaves. How do they notify me? A text stating a new appointment has been made at ____ time with ____ person. No phone call, no asking what times work best, just reassigned. Then I find a person I vibe with again, and what happens? They leave the practice. And how do they notify me? THEY DON'T!!!! The only way I figured this out is that I needed to send them a message during a crisis, and couldn't find them. So needless to say, it's not going well. Clinician is great, other aspects leave a lot to be desired.

Having someone that understands and really care about your overall health is what people like me need and thats exactly what my doctor gave. The ease of talking about my struggles with a doctor really came as a blessing. highly recommendable

I had difficulty logging in. I became extremely upset & frustrated, but I called and received help from Amy: she was very kind & patient. She stayed on the line until my provider logged on. My PMHNP is extremely patient and kind. I’m very happy with all of my experiences with Lifestance from the first call to my first appointment. Unlike my other attempts to make appointments at other mental healthcare places, I get connected to a kind human; not a voicemail.

I was connected to this office/group through ZocDoc. The virtual intake process was very easy (the patient portal is intuitive and user-friendly). The day of my appointment, the receptionist was friendly and welcoming, and my NP, Debora, was absolutely amazing. Anyone would be at ease with her, but especially if you are African, she will be able to bring cultural nuances into your care that make the experience even more comfortable. I highly recommend Debora & LifeStance.

I give 5 stars to Deborah Wilson. A great listener with a great attitude. A Psychiatrist primary focus should be their ability to listen and combine the requestees goal/concern/burden with their own to accomplish the goal and complete the mission. You ask me how I would rate the place. That I cannot review. Your place is of no concern to the customer. The customer is purely concerned with how great an ally the services rendered is. Your brothers and sisters in arms deserve their dues, acknowledgement and respect. I highly suggest changing your review/rating system. Have the customer rate their experience with the individual they work with. Take the sum of the reviews and stars and divide the stars by the number of reviews to draw an accurate, reliable and trustworthy image/impression of your organization. I recommend a redrawing/remaster of the maps/logistics if you intend to place and have proper placement. A task which I would undertake with pleasure at no cost. Too much is lost, discarded or forgotten these long dark days

I thought that the experience was very helpful and eye opening. Sitting down and talking was something that I never really thought could open up so much about why I deal with things the way that I do, and I feel that I have already learned a lot to try out moving forward.

Besides a couple of cancelations, the service we've received has been very good. The doctors we've dealt with have been very helpful and easy to work with, and the receptionists.

Don't go here! I haven't had an appointment in months and I can't get them to stop charging my card for nonexistent appointments. I don't like to complain or be negative but if you are reading this and looking for a therapist, please look elsewhere

They were SOOOOOOOOOO rude. Tried to tell me when my pharmacy opened. Tried to tell me when I should be out of the medication. Her name started with a T. Did not receive good treatment at ALL.

I would like to say I really enjoyed the meeting with Linda Gonzales today and I really like talking with her and do see some work and progress will be met as long as I keep meeting with her

The counselors are great. Billing department is awful. They kept seeing me every week, never told me that my card on file expired and then reported me to credit bureau

Unprofessional staff! They made a lot of mistakes and blamed us. The had us attending several times and when the main doctor was switched. The new one told us we need to fill the consent because it was not filled and we've been seeing them for months!! They screwed up filling the medications several times and sent wrong ones to the pharmacy. Thank God we're no longer seeing them.
