Divine presence is felt there. Connectivity is not an issue, the temple is well connected to the national highway, though car parking is a major concern. Temple is very well managed. Must visit if you want to feel calmness and peace of mind.

Maa Pitambara or Pitambari Devi, is a shaktipeeth which was established in 1935. Navratri is considered one of the auspicious time period to worship Maa Pitambara. The darshan in this temple is done via a small window through which people worship her. They are not allowed to touch the mother’s statue. It is known that Maa Baglamukhi is known as Pitambara Devi, hence yellow things are offered to her. The temple of Goddess Dhumavati (one of the Goddess in Dus Mahavidyas) is also established in the ashram. Apart from these, temples of Parshuram, Hanuman and Kaal Bhairav and other God and Goddess are present across the wide area covered by the ashram. Temple known for: All the wishes of the devotees are fulfilled by Pitambari Devi and is particularly known as the Goddess of Enemy Destruction, hence it protects people from their enemies and other negative influence. Location of the Temple: Shri Pitambara Peeth Temple is situated in the city of Datia in Madhya Pradesh. How to Reach: The temple is situated approx. 75 km from Gwalior Airport. If one is travelling via train then it is approx. 3 km from Datia Railway Station.

Pitambara Shakti Peeth is the most famous and popular temple here. People who believe in Hindu religion have great faith in this temple. It is very crowded here on Saturdays. People come from far and wide to visit here. And it is said that whatever a devotee asks for a wish, it is fulfilled. To reach here, direct transport service is available from Jhansi railway station and bus stand. The best time to visit here is from October to March. The weather here is a bit hot from April to September, so coming at this time is going to be avoided.

There are scores of famous temples of Mata (Mother Goddess) spread all over India from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. Pitambara Devi Temple or Baglamukhi Mata is such shrine famous for the revered goddess. Pitambara Mandir is located in the small town of Madhya Pradesh –Datia. Millions of devotees travel to this Shaktipeeth annually for their various wishes. Maa Dhumabati temple is also situated in the same complex. As Datia is well connected with road and rail services with the major cities of India and the nearest airport is Gwalior to easily reach there. HISTORY It is believed that Peetambra Shaktipeeth was founded in 1935 by Tejaswi Swamiji. There are no concrete proof of Devi’s birthplace, name, family, etc on account of Swamiji’s devotion to the goddess Mata resides in Chaturbhuj form. In this form, she is having Gada (club) in one hand, in another pash (trap). In this third, she is holding Bajra and in the fourth, she is clasping the tongue of the devil. The devotees believe her to be omnipotent showering her mercies into all. Thus people flock to this Pitambra Devi temple Datia regularly. They are blessed by the supreme darshan of the idol through a small window. Mother is known as Baglamukhi and offering of yellow coloured objects are done. Thus she is called Pitambra owing to the liking of yellow clothes. None is allowed to touch the idol of maa. People believe if the rituals are performed in the right way it may lead to the wishes fulfilled. This is the reason many of those who aspire for political power or riches go to the temple and making wishes. How to reach Pitambra Mandir Datia? This place is in Datia (Madhya Pradesh) which is nearly 30 km from Jhansi. You can delight at Jhansi railway station and take a cab from there for Darshan. You can also travel by car from Agra or Gwalior to this place. If you want to fly you have to book a flight to Gwalior and take a car to visit the famous Shaktipeeth.

Shri Peetambra Peeth, a revered Hindu pilgrimage site that exudes an aura of spiritual serenity. Founded in the 1920s by Shree Swami Ji Maharaj, this sacred complex is home to a plethora of temples dedicated to various deities, including the mighty Baglamukhi Devi, the powerful Dhumavati Mai, and the benevolent Parshuram. Photography of the inner sanctum is not allowed and its a huge structure inside. The administrative arrangements cater for 10000 devotees at a time. The focal point of Shri Peetambra Peeth is the awe-inspiring Baglamukhi Devi temple, a sanctuary dedicated to the goddess of silence and victory. The temple's intricate carvings and serene ambiance create an atmosphere conducive to deep meditation and introspection. Another significant temple within the complex is the Dhumavati Mai temple, dedicated to the goddess of transformation and dissolution. The temple's dark and somber atmosphere reflects the goddess's powerful and enigmatic nature. For devotees seeking blessings from the valiant warrior god, the Parshuram temple stands as a beacon of hope and courage. The temple's vibrant energy and intricate architecture inspire devotees to face life's challenges with unwavering fortitude

One of the Greatest shaktipeeth in India. Maa Pitambara devi is known to be worshiped by Lord Vishnu himself at this place for saving the earth 🌎 from on of the most violent storms. It's a divine place. Saturdays are busy due to Mela on that day. On other days except holidays the place is quiet. Offerings to Mata are lotus flowers 💐 and yellow flowers. It is best advised to wear Dhoti Kurta for Darshan at the inner sanatorium. Do visit Dhoomvati Mata temple also....ladies should not visit Dhoomvati Mata temple as it is advised to be prohibited for them. Do offer jalabhishek to lord Shiva there (pandit not required, one can do it himself/herself). A fantastic and powerful place.

Devi Maa Temple is serene. Temple has parking right opposite & inside the temple premises. Aarti timings 7am & 7pm Saturdays are super busy - main day of the week for Devi Maa Puja & Darshan. Less crowded during the day time. If you enter the temple from the front gate (parking vehicle in front) there are three rows to enter, usually people stand in one entrance row - plz utilise brain coz there are 3 rows made by the temple committee 😂 Plz keep your phones in the vehicle, they’re not allowed inside the temple premises - some people still flout rules. Slippers to be kept outside temple there is a shoe storage centre. Prashad (₹20 & ₹50) two sizes is available inside the temple unless you want to buy it from outside. Inside Prasad is after Devi Maa ka bhog Not sure about the ones being sold outside

A renowned and ancient temple of both Maa Pitambara Devi & Maa Dhoomavati Devi identified as one of the great and high energy centres by the revered Rishis of hindu tradition . If you are moderately well with your meditation practices and mindfulness you will feel the immediate connect with the divine energy . You may either cry or feel jubilant, or both , as soon as that connect is established . Maa Pitambara is a soft form of energy and not only it shields you from negativities and hostilities that you may face around you but assist you in tiding over those hostilities . Maa Dhoomavati on the other hand represents a more raw and strong force of energy and should be invoked in keeping with the proper rituals and traditions as suggested by Hindu shastras .
