I have been to this restaurant 2 times now, and both the times the food and service were top notch. The taste, quantity and presentation of food was good. The washrooms were clean. The staff were polite and they wore their masks all the time. There was live music when i went the second time. The tables get almost fulled at peak times, so i would recommend booking in advance if you're going in large groups. Edit: I went there the third time and i had a lovely time once again. We had chicken croquette and thai green curry. There is an open seating area, the view is amazing. I have been suggesting your restuarant to people.🌸

Mee and my group of friends thoroughly enjoyed the place....the service the bar the drinks and food was awesome....the sitting space is good both inside and outside....love music is also good here..one can spend ample time here.. parking also no problem at all...the food is really good here!

Good place to hang out with friends. The roof top ambience is good & lovely view post sunset. Food was good with a variety of drinks & starters . The terrace though congested provides good space for clicking some good pictures. Space is available for hosting parties /events which would easily accommodate 100+ people.

The View has got no special view. Food is average, spaghetti was good. Service is good. Place is spacious enough. Good option to hang out with friends. Can give it a try

What a fine experience. Exceptionally well behaved staff, amazing food with great rooftop view and in a beautiful interior. I will most recommended this place to everyone to try out. We got two complimentary drinks as well in happy hour to our surprises. Just a suggestion: kindly put a display board to write down the Live Singer Name and details. It would be great help to the singer for more exposure. Yesterday live singer was really had a great voice. I wish I could have known his name! Will visit again. Cheers to the Team of The View ❤️

It is a posh roof top restaurant with both indoor and outdoor sitting space. They also have a bar. The food menu is quite extensive. A bit expensive but the food quality and taste is quite impressive. The chicken nuggets were very soft and juicy. Their ambience looks royal and classy. 4 stars because of less food quantity considering the price.

What I liked:- 1) Ambience 2) The view 3) mocktails ( we tried strawberry 🍓, coconut 🥥 pina colada , green apple detox) What I don’t liked 1) expensive 2) quantity to price ratio ( if you keep the price high keep the quantity also more )

Great ambience, cozy place and a great view of the city. The food is also delicious. Prices are competitive. The Servers are very Polite and treat us very well. Worth a visit. And also, They have a great parking space too.

Live Music- We specially went for the live music, after inquiring from the restaurant, on 20 jan 2024. I am rarely disrespectful towards artiststs, but the performer on that night, a local guy, some Sonti I think, was painfully bad. We had to rush out after rushing through our drinks, because the music was just so so bad. If they had had in house music rather, I would have happily stayed back for dinner. My evening was ruined because of the performer. Ambience and Decor- It has both indoor and outdoor setting. In the outdoor seating area, one has the hill view with sports tv, other gives you the city view. The view outside is spectacular, especially at night. The outdoor seating area has roof, so it doesnot feel as cold in winter. Indoor seating area too has two parts, one nearer to the live music performance, other nearer to the bar counter area. The decor is beautiful, with some nice quotes and flat screens. The bathroom is very cute too. Beautiful decor maintained, accompanied by the awesome view. Food- The BEST. Tried The Carnival cocktail. Hats off to the bartender! I was blown. Sex in the Beach was good too. Corona Beer came with a plate of green sprout , peanut mix, which tasted awesome too! The chicken appetizer with creamy filling was just too good. The food here is hands down one of the best in Guwahati. But I couldnot enjoy the food at all, because the singer was just so so bad, that it irritated me so greatly, ruined my mood, that we had to leave. I hope in future they primarily review the singers or else they lose business. Service- There are a lot of staff to cater to the customers. Service is good. Not cordial though, I must say. A smiling face would be nicer. Pricing- It is definitely highly priced. No entry fee. But the drinks and food is defiinitely on the upscale range. It compensates for the food taste and view. But with the horrible live music performance, the evening was a torture. How to reach- Go to the back side of Guwahati Central/ Centro Mall, take the stairs, take a left turn and you will find the elevator. Go to the sixth floor, elevator opens right infront of the restaurant. I would definitely go back and spend the evening and night and for the fingerlicking good food and amazing view, ONLY if the singer is bearable. PLEASE NOTE- In the bill, they charge you, CGST, SGST, and also VAT, and ALSO 10% Service Charge.

Very elegant. Food was good and the ambiance was excellent. The rooftop was really good with an 180° view of Zoo Road. Could not enjoy the bar as it was a dry day. But the plus point was that we had the whole restaurant to ourselves and a few other guests. The live music and the singer was also equally good. And to top it all it does not blow a hole in your pocket.

This restaurant cum lounge bar is located at the top of Guwahati Central mall (now closed) and have a great view of the Guwahati city mostly at night. The inner decor is fine. Food is nice. Drinks are a bit pricey though they have a good collection. Weekend has live music. Parking is available at the basement. Overall had a nice time.

Awesome place! Went there yesterday, ambience is too good. Just had to wait there for 1 hour for seat 🙃 food is too delicious n affordable. N the singer is amazing🔥Overall satisfied, I wish we could spend some more time there.

Except for the rooftop there's nothing much to do. Foods not that great, the ambience is ok, the staff will always mess up your menu, i mean I once ordered veg hakka noodles and got chicken. Although they took the price of veg and offered chicken which is great 😅 but they did mess up the order that's what I meant to say. And it happened to a lot of my friends too. Price is somewhat higher to what you get. I suggest...visit root barrel which is located in the same building and I would give a 4/5 star to root barrel

Good ambience. Food was fairly good. The atmosphere is friendly and even has outdoor seating. Its a place for both family as well as a friends hangout. But I'd mostly prefer a friends get together due to its chill casual aura.

Visited on 02/04/2020.The ambience was very impressive. Music was very pleasant. Staff behaviour satisfactory. The restro was neat and tidy. For food the preparation was delicious, quantity was appropriate for price, well presented and well served. One must try its Chicken Steak.

Amazing Place...A must visit -> Great Food (good quantity) at reasonable prices -> Great Ambience (better at night time for sure) -> Friendly staff (they let us take like a 1000 photos) -> Great View from the exterior seating arrangement (the reason for 600 of the pics) -> Not too crowded given the Pandemic They patiently took orders of all 11 members of our group... The food was excellent. We ordered Korean Bbq chicken, chicken in pesto sauce, Korean kimchi chicken noodles and Chicken Supreme and honestly, loved every bit of it. The ambience and the service were excellent. The view from the rooftop is incredible.

Staff : Polite Ambience : Beautiful Menu price touches the sky... I would recommend to visit BBQ Nation rather visiting there. Food is the only factor for Gourmand, and not the ambience. Considering the factor I got that much with huge bucks. Disappointed 😖 That would be my first and last visit, of course. 😒

Visited the place uncountable times and it never disappoints. Whenever i feel like having Indian cuisine the first place that comes to my mind is The View. The Aloo Kulcha and Dal Makhani is really good here and this combo brings me back here everytime, even if I am a hardcore non-vegetarian. It is the best i have ever had❤️

Great concept. Brilliant view. Good food & beverages. What I didn’t understand is why the management is shying away from guiding customers to their doorstep. We went on cab, followed Google maps. Alighted at destination and then started the confusion. There was no signage to the restaurant. The only visit ke entrance was of the Mall. The mall guard asked us to go to the backside. We went to the backside of the building and saw nothing. ZERO signage. We saw some guards at an apartment gate and asked them for guidance. They asked us to walk up the steps and go to 6th floor. The took the steps and could see 2 lifts. One was being used by inmates to ferry goods so we took the other one. Came out on 6th floor and then the Restaurant entrance was right there. So apart from the above bitter experience, ‘The View’ is all good. However they charge a 10% service fee that comes clubbed on bill. Our bill was 7K plus and the service charges were 600 plus. That’s very unfair. I was with family so didn’t want to create a scene by asking them to get a bill minus the service charges, so I honoured the bill. Staff is very courteous. They take your feedback after consumption of each dish.

Good place to hangout and chill with some very good options for having dinner ✌🏼 Definitely recommended, the atmosphere is very good and the price is reasonable.
