According to the Hindu mythology when Lord Vishnu dismembered Sati’s lifeless body his Sudarshana Chakra had struck in a rock near Bramhaputra river. The serene ambiance inside the temple provided the perfect setting for meditation and introspection. It felt like a sacred oasis, offering solace amidst the chaos of the outside world. The priests and staff were warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable, making the visit all the more fulfilling. They graciously explained the significance of various rituals and traditions, deepening my understanding of the deity and the temple's history. Devotees visiting the temple exuded a sense of devotion and harmony, making the entire experience even more heartwarming. Witnessing the collective faith of people from all walks of life was truly humbling.

A beautiful place to visit. The natural beauty of this place is a sight to experience. Various statues of Gods and Goddesses can be seen all around the place. The beauty of Brahmaputra is a sight to behold. Definitely recommend for people who want to visit a holy place with friends and family, or your better half.

Beautiful experience visiting this place. Visited twice and probably would lot many times in future. As the name suggests (Chakra+Ishwar) is the ancient temple of Krishna the Vishnu Avatar. At the enterance itself one could get the Chariot of Krishna and idols of Ganesha and Shiva with its lingam. In the early morning and during evening one can have beautiful view of sunrise and sunset over river Brahmaputra. Also during evening one can have scenic view of lighting all around. Must watch and hidden kind of place in Guwahati. Many locals even don't know about the place.
