One of the most craziest experience I had in this place. This place was very good and silent and umrangso lake is also connected to this golf court. We (me and friends) enjoyed most in the lake water because no one else was present to disturbed us or from whom we can hasitate to get wet in the lake water. Good place ti visit with group of friends then alone.

This is undoubtedly one of the most beautyfull place in Assam and in fact North East Indian,Due to pathetic road conditions and neglect of the Government of Assam,its yet to unexplored by the majority of india,but once you reach the place you will be amazed by the beauty,it's the home of the Falcon birds,The exotic view of the polo ground especially the sunset is breathtaking,There are not many place to stay but NEEPCO gust houses is the best of the lot,it has an amazing location as well

Umrangso is a gem to Assam. Due to the pathetic road conditions and neglect of the Government, its yet unexplored by the majority of India. Its the home to the Falcon bird. The exotic view of the polo ground especially the sunset is breathtaking. Nearby an artificial water body is present which adds more beauty to it. A must visit place if you are an adventure lover.

Such a nice place.It can catch more visitors.Good road is required as the communication is very poor.

Field covers tremendously large area. Pic nic hot-spot... Govt. should make use as sport area.. Earlier, golf tournaments used to be held.. International matches and all Now it's been closed.. - (source: Local people) It should be re-inaugurated and sport should be re started.

I had been there almost a year back. This is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful place in Assam and in fact in Northeast India. The road to Umrangso is not in good condition but once you reach the place, you’ll be amazed by the beauty. There are not many good places to stay but the NEEPCO guest house is the best of the lot. It has an amazing location as well. You can also try local homestays which are coming up.
