Had a very filling Rava masala dosa. The place is peaceful with no hustle and bustle of the city. The dosa was very crispy and hope to visit again. πŸ’• The staff are very polite and well behaved they ask you about the taste and provide complementary dishes too.

Found nothing special in food. Food was served in a banana leaf. Service was good. They were asking many times if i need something. I went for lunch. Biryani and Chennai thali was unavailable. Idli was without salt, also didn't liked the Pongal was not good at all. Sambar was more like daal. Onion uttapam was big enough to fill your tummy. It's so huge. This place is very small and there is no air conditioning facility.

Located in Uzan Bazar a small south indian eatery. It was a random stop at this place, but this place just surprised me. The service was super quick. The dish was yummy. Had Upma and Chennai Parotta. Filter coffee is also good. Best thing, all comes at a pocket friendly price. There is ample roadside parking available too. Happy to rate five star.

Ordered Masala Dosa and Chennai Parotta with Korma through Zomato. No doubt the taste was good but the side dishes could have been improve a bit. Moreover the portion size was quite smaller compare to the price. Hope that this points are considered in the future.

I love eating here. The dosa, filter coffee and Pongal are my absolute favourite. You can laze away the evening there, eating , drinking coffee, looking at the people walking by, and it is easy on the pocket as well. It's a delight, a simple one

First time dine in experience at a south Indian restaurant and it went really good. Ordered the Rava Masala Dosa (Ghee) which cost 150 rupees per plate. The first attraction was that it was served in a banana leaf, an authentic south Indian dining experience. The dosa was crispy. Sambar was lacking veggies buy still good. The dosa was huge enough and it will fill you in no time.

I recently had the pleasure of dining here. I must say I was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with an authentic Indian feel that made me feel right at home. Budget friendly place βœ¨πŸ’° The food was outstanding, with a wide range of delicious options to choose from Dosa’s . Each dish was expertly prepared and packed with flavor. The service was excellent, with the staff being friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made sure that my dining experience was enjoyable and comfortable from start to finish. Overall, I would highly recommend ✨to anyone looking for taste Dosas . Whether you're in the mood for a quick bite or a leisurely evening out, this is the place to be. I would rate my experience a 4 ⭐️and will definitely be back for more delicious food.

After being away from home for more than a week, there was a certain urge to eat South Indian food. We found Chennai Banana Leaf by chance. We didn't have much expectations. But we were surprised. It's run by a chap who has made his mission to provide quality and home like South Indian food in Guwahati. We ordered barotta (yes barotta and not parathas), dosas, idlis, and uthappam. The portions were huge. Taste was certainly very Tamilnadu-ish. We discovered that the kitchen was managed but a chef from Madurai. Strongly recommend this place for your cravings for Tamil Nadu food. It's very authentic.

Taste wise it's very good I ordered Ghee masala dosa today, Taste was good but they served me pre cooked dosa that was not hot. Even sambar was not hot at all. They should take care of this and should serve well and freshly prepared items. Hope next time if I visit I can give it 5 stars.

The taste is amazing. If you want to try south food in guwahati, this is the best place. The place is small and peaceful and opposite to the brahmaputra river. The staffs are very well behaved and they maintain proper hygiene. The food shows their vision and is served in banana leaf. My recommendations/ must tries : butter dosa and masala dosa.

Stopped here to try out the dosa and we were definitely pleased. Pleased with the quantity, quality, taste and cleanliness. Dosas were neatly served on big banana leaves with 2 types of chutneys and a sambar. The size of the dosa was pretty big and it was difficult for a single person to finish a whole dosa. It's better you ask for the quantity and order based on your capacity. Would definitely recommend this place if you want to try authentic South Indian dosas or missing south Indian home food.

Every item of "Super Mini Tiffin" was delicious... I wish Masala Dosa had more items like onion or carrot instead of just Aloo with Masala... Sambhar was especially good, so were the chutneys... 5 star food!

The dosa and sambar tasted like that of TN and Bengaluru.

Awesome restaurant with a small space , but otherwise the taste comes with blend of special spices from Chennai. Liked it very much

A lovely food joint serving authentic South Indian cuisine. Enjoyed my Sunday Lunch there with Kerala Parotta with Kurma(1 plate), Butter Masala Dosa(1pc) and 1 cup of Filtered Coffee. Just yummy!!! Although the joint can be made a bit more spacious, but overall it's FANTABULOUS... πŸ‘πŸ‘

Found nothing special other than dosa. I went for lunch. Didn't like the Chennai parotta korma. They charged too much for this. Taste was worst. They serve banana bhaji without the presence of banana. Only besan n besan n full of oil.worst experience

So everyone is excited about this place but to B very honest i found nothing special yes food is good they got ur dosa/ masla dosa rava dosa ghee dosa Vara etc issue i had was my dosa got bit over fry .. & which is turn is not healthy/ forms gass. Anyways Guwahati / local banana leaf dosa main selling point is they serve in bana leaf . ..with some authenticity...ok food tasted good ...filter coffee is ok seating outside in summer is war & sweaty... Ya one more thing staff / management is efficient if you had some issue with your food they will gladly change it for you ...but quality issue shouldn't happen in the first place... 4β˜… place but 3β˜… for now... The very ok place to take your family mom/ dad / kids for ride & dosa......
